The food is OK but nothing more, the service is laborious, and apart from 2 fir branches on the roof, there are no decorations. Comfort-wise, we sit on wooden benches without cushions and without backrests. The prices of the dishes in no way justify the quality of the restaurant. Disappointed, I won't go back

I loved this restaurant, typical and traditional outfits, simple but warm and charming decoration, very pleasant staff All you can eat Chinese Fondue for our menu, it was a real treat 🤤 To be done again with great pleasure

Alvierstrasse 14I arrived there by coincidence (huge parking lot in front, next to the main shopping area). The restaurant is very spacious and nicely designed. It's not so gloomy and stuffy like some others in the neighbourhood. Corona requirements are being respected.I was there twice for lunch. First time I had calamari fritti, because it's my favorite for lunch. It was so good that I went the next day again. Very nice white wine by the glas (chardonnay) good taste and well chilled. For desert I had panacotta, wonderful. As I went the second time I was offered an Amaretto by the house.The selection of good restaurants in the area is limited. Da Paolo in my view is not fine dining but deserves a good rating.
