Restaurant Elite in Buchs (SG) - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

I arrived there by coincidence (huge parking lot in front, next to the main shopping area). The restaurant is very spacious and nicely designed. It's not so gloomy and stuffy like some others in the neighbourhood. Corona requirements are being respected.I was there twice for lunch. First time I had calamari fritti, because it's my favorite for lunch. It was so good that I went the next day again. Very nice white wine by the glas (chardonnay) good taste and well chilled. For desert I had panacotta, wonderful. As I went the second time I was offered an Amaretto by the house.The selection of good restaurants in the area is limited. Da Paolo in my view is not fine dining but deserves a good rating.

I happened to be in Buchs just after Christmas, and many restaurants were closed - except for this Italian restaurant Elite. My dinner here proved very good. The dining room is quite large and boasts a pleasant and relaxed feeling. Slightly worried upon arrival as the restaurant was empty, but it filled up quite rapidly.As starter I had the garlic cream soup - flavourful and invigorating. As main course I chose the Pizza Ruccola - freshly prepared, thin and crispy crust, very tasty. As sweet I indulged myself with a delicious tiramisu. Switzerland is known for its expensive prices, but the bill here remained rather moderate - amounting to CHF48. Restaurant Elite truly deserves to be discovered.

Das "Elite" heisst wieder "Elite (vorher Jonny's) und hat seit anfangs November 2019 geöffnet. Nach dem Umbau der letzten Monate erstrahlt das Interieur hell und frisch. Der Gast fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Pizzen sind frisch zubereitet, erreichen aber noch nicht ganz die Qualität von vorher. Die Karte ist gut aufgestellt und die Zeit wird zeigen, welche Gerichte die Gäste dann mögen.
