I found the café and the service itself to be really sweet. The waitress always had a smile. What I don't think is great, however, is the price-performance ratio of the swan breakfast. In my opinion it is far too expensive.. you get a basket with bread & croissants at the table.. about 4 small slices of bread & 2 croissants.. then the buffet is advertised so much that you can get food as often as you want .. the only stupid thing is that once you've used up the bread, you can't do anything with the buffet anymore, as it mostly consisted of cold cuts and spreads for baked goods, unless you add another 2 small slices for 2.50.- so it should In my opinion, it shouldn't be advertised as an open buffet, because it's quite similar to the Piccolo Zmorgen from Beck Frey... only here it costs around 30.- more. Luckily I had a voucher so I didn't have to pay for it myself.

Wow! I am always amazed by the small, cozy café in Baden's old town. Super fine cakes, great service and great atmosphere, again and again.

The café offers a quiet atmosphere, ideal for relaxed conversations. However, I was surprised that despite the café's low occupancy (there were only 2 people in the café), strollers were not tolerated. This could be a limitation for parents who want to enjoy a leisurely coffee. The employee's suggestion was to leave the stroller outside (baby was sleeping) or go. Very unfortunate. NEVER AGAIN

It's a bit chaotic because of the small restaurant. The buffet has little storage space. However, it is precisely the size that determines the atmosphere and character of Frau Meise. Very friendly service. The muesli could be served a little more generously. Will definitely go back!!! ;)

Over 5 years ago I was at Café Frau Maise and was so impressed that I wanted to go there again. Today I finally made it, but the anticipation quickly disappeared. The café has been around for a long time and you can see that straight away… seat cushions, couch, walls, etc. a bit “dirty”. The staff is very nice, but quite awkward. At first it wasn't clear whether it was self-service or not, then a very long waiting time... a shame.

Great place with pleasant ambience for a brunch or morning coffee. Many vegetarian and vegan options (including vegan menu).

A beautiful little coffee shop hidden in the old town of Baden. There is brunch for sparrows, titmice and even larger birds. In the afternoon delicious cake and other things to pick from. The coffee and tea selection is excellent. The decor is unique and very cozy. You feel comfortable and welcome from the first moment.

Dear Ms. Meise team I was with you on Sunday with my mother. Everything was great from A to Z! You're doing great, keep it up!

This is a surprise find in this quaint little town in Baden. Very vintage with homey feel with the cosy indoor deco. Walk further in and you will get outdoor seating at the balcony - best during nice sunny weather. Food is good as I believe their bagels are one of their specialities. Coffee is also good too. The only tricky part is there’s some waiting time but I guess good thing takes time to come :) Just come and enjoy!

Service disaster! Just wanted to order something to drink and had to wait 20 minutes. Can't set priorities. After taking our order, we were able to watch the “girls” as they preferred to unload the dishwasher (and the three of them) instead of simply serving our drinks. Services equal to 0. Never coming back. A pity.

Apart from the fact that we were ignored by the waitress most of the time, it was very nice there. It would be great if you turned around to face guests in all directions and didn't immediately disappear with blinders on. 😉

Not your average cafe. You feel less like you're in a café and more like you're visiting someone. This is because it is very small and upcycling is practiced here. Very cozy and a place with character.

Had a spontaneous breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning. Very nice café on the edge of the idyllic old town. The staff was very friendly. Everything was furnished with love, down to the smallest detail. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.☺️

Wonderfully located, stylishly fine...

Yesterday I was in the café and had breakfast and worked there. The atmosphere in the café is great and it is very cutely decorated. The food and drinks are also excellent. I was served by Laura, she takes her work very seriously and I was given great advice and pampered by her, the coffee even came with "latte art". You can just tell that she enjoys her job. I would love to come back!

I was having a pretty awful day due to allergies and decided to stop by for a cup of tea. The mint/ginger tea with the bagel w/brie and apples was very wholesome and made the allergies go away like magic. The balcony was very pleasant and the server was helpful and kind. The drinks are a small bit pricey but definitely worth it. I will definitely come back!

A unique place in Baden. The cafe is very cosy and has a very self made vibe to it. The food is of good quality for decent prices. A great place for a brunch. The space is, however, very restricted, making it difficult to find space for a medium to large group.

The cafe itself would be very cute and the breakfast is delicious too, but since we weren't told that the breakfast was self-service, we had a very long wait. In addition, the buffet was already empty for a long time and although we asked, unfortunately it was not refilled. There was also a hefty price for this meager breakfast! Maybe we'll give the café another chance.

Came across this gem on a day trip today. Great, stylish ambience accompanied by an enthusiastic staff who are second to none when it comes to service. Worth every price! Thank you very much for that, we'll be happy to come back when we're in the area!

My absolute favorite place! 🥰 There is no better cake anywhere. I even like cake here that I don't normally like! 😂 But also the breakfast, the brunch and the other delicacies on the menu... it is and remains mega! A place to enjoy and feel good. Be sure to reserve in the morning and for brunch on the weekend. 😉

Warm atmosphere, small & fine. Super tasty and fresh food.

Comfortable is different. Brunch must be completed in 2 hours. The next guests waited about half an hour to sit at our table. That was probably the first and last time for us.

Always worth recommending. Very cozy. But you should make a reservation for breakfast/brunch depending on the day of the week.

Interior nostalgically cozy with old armchairs, couches, etc., just a living room feeling. The cake was excellent. There was also a very tasty amouse-guele (small piece of chocolate cake) on a golden spoon on the tray. The girls who served us were very nice and quick. 1 star is missing - unfortunately the coffee is just okay, there is still room for improvement. A small glass of water would be perfect.

Such an adorable place and a wonderful opportunity to see the old city of baden. The place is some what small tho so i would recommend reservations beforehand! the food is wonderful i had their swan brunch with my friend for my birthday. it was mostly self serve other than the bread, eggs and müessli. there are also soaps, earring and kids toys. suits also both men and woman and both young and old. recommend visit for everyone!!

Tasty cake in the cute town of Baden. We stopped at this charming little cafe on a Sunday afternoon and had an amazing chocolate brownie , lemon cake and coffee. It’s a mix of a cafe, tea room and a cute little gift shop. The service was also really nice. It’s a very small place so if it gets full perhaps it can get a bit too crowded. We were lucky !

Nice and had enough seats even on Sunday. You can also pay by card. The breakfast and the creative bagels are recommended!

I love this cafe! The only downer is the vegan selection. For example, the menu says breakfast is also available vegan. For Mrs Meise this means: butter, cheese, cold cuts and eggs are simply left out. Which for me means I get a loaf of bread with margarine. Unfortunately not that progressive.

Probably the smallest and finest coffee in Bremgarten that I know. Homemade cakes and tarts. The brunch is a hit. Reservations for brunch are required.

You enter this tiny little place and you are in another world. Furnished with love and detail, the dishes well chosen, beautifully presented and incredibly fine. The owners and staff were courteous, friendly and attentive - specially reserved a place where we could put the baby on a bench next to us, as a stroller could not be taken with us. Very child friendly! We immediately felt comfortable...

We are "hot chocolate" fans, but usually have trouble with the homemade ones because they are too sweet, too strong, too expensive and not good, etc. The hot chocolate here was very "cinnamon-heavy" but awesome! Big compliment!! 1 minus point because it is very narrow and loud for guests. Definitely not for people with claustrophobia or small children.
