Frieden in Bülach

This is still a real pub! Top lunch, fast service and top friendly staff! I have known the restaurant since my RS and will continue to appreciate it in the future!

Nice bar with always enough space

Hoi zäme my partner's croissant casserole was great, my fillet skewer of over 30.00 was tough and dry! My visavis said the taste of the meat was good and I felt that way too, but fillet should actually be 50% red and like butter and not like boiled meat! Speaking of a free coffee, it should be there if it wasn't optimal

Service was very friendly. Food was good but cold and very little on the plate for 30 Fr. I expected more.

The welcome and availability were great, I appreciated the effort made by the staff and boss🙏👍👍. Not speaking German, I switched to English and we understood that I am French speaking and we said a few polite words in French 🥰. Not a lot of waiting and good food, thank you again as we said “see you soon”.

Friendly, simple, uncomplicated restaurant with good hamburgers

The only restaurant in Bülach that welcomes dogs just as friendly as paying guests. You never have to ask for water for the thirsty animals, that's always a given. Thank you very much for that. Greetings, Fredi, Dara and Gray :-)

Good home cooking at an affordable price. The kitchen is also open later in the evening and conjures up a delicious menu. The animals you bring with you are not forgotten either. Thanks for that. There are enough parking spaces at the restaurant and nearby. I'd love to come back.

The Frieden Restaurant is the regular restaurant of our club, the TTC Bülach. We come here 3-4 times a week, are always served competently and warmly by the entire team and the food, which you can order until 11:30 p.m. and sometimes even later, is always freshly prepared and always tastes delicious! For me and my colleagues, "de Fridä" is the absolute No. 1 in Bülach!! :-)

This was our first visit to a restaurant once we landed in Switzerland (from Canada). The First Lady we spoke to didn’t speak English but was able to connect us with someone who spoke English enough that we could be served. It was a beautiful afternoon so we opted to eat outdoors. The server gave us an idea of the more popular menu items. We selected chicken burger with French fries and two cokes. The food came quick and was still hot. The burger was actually incredible- the chicken was well cooked and full of flavour. The toppings and sauce was delicious. I was too hungry and dove in before I could take a photo. However the lovely server had mentioned to us that a popular item is a salad that includes cheese from Switzerland and sausage. We weren’t too sure if we would like it and in comparison to canadian prices eating here is EXPENSIVE so we stuck with something we knew. However the restaurant was so generous and let us sample the salad for free. And it was INCREDIBLE. The dressing was good and the whole experience was fantastic. I am glad I got to try it.Very polite friendly staff who try very hard to help foreigners have a great experience and that’ was the best part for us.

Codon Bleu eaten as a menu for 26.- including soup. The Cordon Bleu was about 120g heavy..!! In addition, the service was very, very SLOW...I won't come back a second time, so this is and will remain my only and last comment..

Wir gehen ein bis zwei mal die Woche ins Restaurant Frieden Mittagessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Unser Favorit ist die Pommery-Senf-Sauce.

Im Frieden sind wir als Eishockeymannschaft immer willkommen, und bekommen auch zu Unzeiten noch etwas in den Bauch. Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Team immer freundlich ...

Das Team die Küche und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlichtweg genial.Die Friedenplatte ist genial für den grossen Hunger.Pizzas und Mittagsgerichte einfach genial.

Das Frieden ist Restaurant und Gartenwirtschaft. Angenehme Bedienung, bürgerliche Küche, gute Menuauswahl, übliches Preissegment. Familientreffen in separaten Räumlichkeiten möglich. Kein Missfallen.

Always friendly service, good food, short waiting time!

An einer dicht befahrenen Strasse liegt das Restaurant Frieden. Die Terrasse befindet sich gerade neben der Strasse und ist nur durch ein Geländer vom Gehsteig getrennt. Das Restaurant ist auch für normale Arbeiter (fürs Mittagessen) geöffnet. Über die Mittagszeit ist das Restaurant sehr gut besetzt. Da dieses Lokal in der Nähe der Kaserne liegt, hat es am Abend häufig viele Angehörige des Militärs.
