Mmmm... I highly recommend Chuchichef and never regretted the decision. The lamb was super delicious! The service was top notch, because even though the restaurant was full (and it was the usual Saturday lunch!), the service was friendly and I didn't have to wait a long time for my food! Reserved for birthday celebrations, 10p. Reported again upon arrival. At first we were disappointed that we couldn't order from the menu. There was a menu selection... Food and service was good. Consumed for a good 500.-. What was really disappointing was that no attention was paid to the birthday child. No greeting from the kitchen, no dessert or anything! A pity. Such details are also important for a possible next visit...

Food and service good, 😀 But the fact that several guests were smoking cigars in the next room made me miss the food. Because the waitress had to go through this room every time to serve, we got a torrent of food every time we went through, I thought the smoking in restaurants was over! There are other good places without cigar smoke.

Excellent service - friendly staff despite the "full house". There was a bit of a wait at times, but the staff did what they could - no problem at all for us. After all, you are not in a fast food joint here, but in a hearty, cozy “country pub” that has become rare.

I'll never go to Bären Holziken again. First I wait 15 minutes for someone to come, then I wait 20 minutes for the drink and I wait 1 hour for the food and they weren't friendly at all and the food was bad

It's no longer what it once was. You were served well here, but you were almost sitting on top of other people. The seating was too narrow so that you were almost sitting on other people's feet. We asked for bread and got 1 slice of bread that was halved. This visit was expensive and in our opinion not worth the money. We won't come anymore.

Actually quite good food with friendly staff. Unfortunately, warm food is only available until 9 p.m.

It's a shame that the food always goes from the kitchen through the smoking area first when it's served, so that a cloud of cigarettes always comes with it, which is always the case during lunchtime...so I prefer to avoid eating like that.
