Very good food, no problem at all. But high prices on Christmas/New Year's Eve. There are no cheaper alternative meals over the holidays, which I unfortunately didn't know in advance, as nowhere on the homepage did it say that there are "only" holiday menus. Then the prices start at 49.-. Otherwise on the other days the prices are normal like everywhere else. I won't be going on holidays anymore, unfortunately it's beyond my budget.

The two of us had lunch at the Rössli. Reception and service very friendly and attentive. Homely atmosphere. However, you have to know how to get a white-covered table in a cozy corner. The regulars know this. The food is good. The wine (Primitivo) is excellent. The daily menu is inexpensive. The other menus are less cheap, but the price/performance ratio is right. The price for 2 scoops of ice cream is excessive. The Nüsslisalat contained practically no bacon, but too many croutons (see picture) WiFi is available. Payment with Visa is possible. Also the tip. The staff receives it! We'd love to come back.

After many positive experiences over the years, our last visit was unfortunately very disappointing. We ordered fondue chinoise and one of the sauces came to our table with mold. The sauce was then replaced without comment, but a nice gesture would be expected as this is an absolute no go! When it came to dessert, for which we had to wait a long time, the crepes we ordered were served cold and therefore not freshly prepared. The drinks were also non-carbonated and in the end we paid 95 chf per person (full price). So it's not recommended and we won't go there again.

Large "green" garden in summer. The beautiful garden restaurant is now open. The chestnut trees are already providing shade (April 29, 2022).

The Cordonbleue, on the other hand, was small and, apart from the breading, it looked, tasted and felt like a finished product. Raspberry tart for dessert was good, the Linzertorte was not. Both were ordered at the same time but served almost 10 minutes apart. Conclusion: Price performance was not right. Very friendly service.
