A solid hotel with nice, quiet rooms. Friendly staff. The hotel has two restaurants. The better rated (Ochsen) is currently only open on Friday and Saturday. The food in the more rustic restaurant (Adler) was home-style.

Table reserved at short notice with family. Everything worked. The restaurant was full to the last table. Friendly and prompt service. Choice of food is also good. There's something for everyone. We really liked the furnishings and open kitchen. Food was also very good. Overall, we had a very good impression and would be happy to come back.

Very good food, beautiful ambience, very good and absolutely professional staff. We were served by a service clerk with the beautiful name "Ramona". We had a lot of fun with her. We will definitely come back with pleasure. 👍🤗

Very nice restaurant and beautiful hotel. Everything has been remodeled in recent years and has just been reopened. The Adler belongs to the Caspar Group, which also includes the Hotel/Restaurant Ochsen. The Adler is intended as a village pub for the Murian population and clubs. What management should definitely rethink is the opening hours regime. Many clubs are busy with training and rehearsals until 10 p.m. If the restaurant closes at 11 p.m., that's not exactly club-friendly. There is a maximum of one hour left to linger. This is not enough and means that alternatives are often visited. Therefore, my wish to the management of this otherwise great restaurant: Open the restaurant longer until at least midnight! Ensures greater customer proximity to the target group! Then I give it 5 stars!

We were guests during the week at the end of October. As is typical of the season, we treated ourselves to the game specialty on the menu. We were treated to delicious food and matching wine by professional and friendly service. Gladly again!

The star goes to the staff, who were friendly, if a bit chaotic. The meat definitely shouldn't have been served like that - it was so dry (cooked way too hard) that we could barely cut it and had to wash it down with enough water. The couscous salad with poached egg tasted dry and lacked flavor in every way. I find the atmosphere in the annex to be cool and uncomfortable, but well-kept and clean. Disappointing!

This is the second time I have reserved a table. Sadly it did not work. When making the reservation, I mentioned that there would be someone there who couldn't hear well. That's why I reserved a quiet table in the corner. This was confirmed to me when I made the reservation and that it would not be a problem at all. When I arrived on time, I discovered that “our” table had already been taken. We were offered a table at the entrance to the toilet or in the middle of the room. When I complained about this, I was told relatively coolly that they had a lot of guests and table reservations per table would be difficult. If this is difficult for the staff at the Adler, I expect that they will tell me this at the time of the reservation and not when I arrive. We changed the restaurant and had a good meal. We won't be visiting the Adler again anytime soon.

We have visited this place several times now after the remodelation. Service staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good, Hamburger and Hotdog have been the best things of the menu. Open wine selection can definitely be better. Very good beer selection. They have good coffee. The menus during midday unfortunately do sometimes leave one wishing for a bit more taste. Overall the place has potential.

The food was very good. Unfortunately the service was lacking. After the main course we were not asked for dessert or coffee. We left the restaurant thirsty.

We were there for lunch with a large group, in the winter garden. The ambience was very pleasant, the tables were beautifully set and the toilets were clean/well maintained. The waitresses were all very friendly, prompt and didn't seem stressed - thank you! The food was very tasty! I had beetroot soup, saffron pasta with salmon and for dessert, mascarpone cream with crumble and strawberries and some mint ice cream (woah, that was sooo good!) - the spare ribs were also eaten! The portions were rather large for three courses, the prices are very fair! I would eat there again in a heartbeat!

Pleasant atmosphere, fine menus, friendly service

Great location for a delicious lunch. The quality on the plate is convincing and is definitely worth a stop. The attentive and helpful staff will do the rest. We'll be back.

Fine, exclusive food has its price! The four of us tried one and everything was very well prepared. The open kitchen showcases quality!

We had lunch here twice. Staff is motivated, friendly and tries to serve very professionally. Good mix of communication and discretion. Multilingual. The food was very good, tasted great and was reasonably priced. One of the better restaurants in Muri district. Great ambience. The speed at which the dishes are served could be improved, but I'm happy to wait for tasty food

The waitress was great and super accommodating to my request. Super nice people, nice environment.

We waited two hours for our food. The “Burrata” starter consisted of a mozzarella…

The food was very tasty. The Mistchratzerli was super tender and tasted great, the only thing that bothered me about it were the carrots, which were quite tough. Dessert was also very tasty but in my opinion the ice cream would have been better served alongside the panna cotta. The Kellogg's were also a special addition. In terms of price, the Adler is simply too expensive for me, after all the restaurant is advertised as being for everyone.

As a village restaurant with the broadest sense of traditional cuisine, the menu is sophisticated and not suitable for every budget. Something upscale for eating out with family and children? In addition, the selection is very limited, especially the à la carte menu, but even the small menu doesn't offer much. However, the dishes are excellently prepared (tartar / Bäggli) and tasted excellent. Only the beef tartare could have been cut a little more finely. Conclusion: Eating out at the Adler on a special occasion is okay. But it's not a village restaurant that you would go to regularly.

We were only at the bar. But the restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, everything is made of very high quality materials, we'll definitely stop by for a meal sometimes.
