Tomate in Muri (AG)

Was there for dinner in the evening. Restaurant was very well attended. We received excellent service despite the house being full. Food was also top...pizzas were amazing and the price was very fair for this region. We'd love to come back.

Pizza was bigger than the plate. Schnitzel with fries was good. Staff friendly. A restaurant where you can still get warm food even after 8 p.m.

The pizza itself wouldn't have been so bad if the fat wasn't dripping off the pizza like that.

For me personally, the Cordonbleu was a little too small. But it's still better than doing food waste. The inside area is cozy and the outside area is nothing like it, except that the train line is right behind and the main street is in front. The menu is rather relatively large.

The pizzas are good, but unfortunately the salad is getting worse. The last time we delivered the lettuce was brown and smelly and the cucumbers were so slimy that we couldn't eat them. Complaint was ignored and no response to complaint. It's a shame, but not like that anymore.

An absolute top restaurant in every respect. Great service, good cuisine, nice terrace and nice atmosphere. The delivery service is also great. A must to let yourself be pampered by tomatoes. Very, very recommended!

Classic Italian pizza, pasta with refreshingly cheerful and friendly staff. If you have an appetite, you'll get your money's worth, the portions are plentiful and the price-performance ratio is great. As a German, I prefer wine to beer 😀

Very friendly, almost family-like welcome. The pizzas we ordered were bigger than the plate, even the smaller pizzas were still big enough. We took the rest home with us. The menu offers something for everyone.

I was here after a hike and first had a beer. The menu is well stocked and the service is nice and friendly. The boss even welcomed us and the wine was from good parents so a second bottle came to the table. The train station is close so I decided it wouldn't be that long before I came back.

The pizza is very huge. Even a small version would be enough for most people. The selection of different pizza is great. A perfect solution for a good pizza

This is my first time at this rest. Ordered for delivery. I'm disappointed. Pizza arrived cold and the pizza was too salty. And the rocket was missing from the Muri pizza. Never against such a pizza

Pizza is good, but they don't have much control over delivery times during lunchtime...if I order at 11:30 I have to eat at 11:55! If I order at 11:45, I eat at 1:00 p.m.! The modern ambience is pleasing, the name of the restaurant is unusual, as in Muri there are mainly restaurants with classic names: Ochsen, Engel, Adler...the tomato really stands out...

We have been coming here for years and have always been very satisfied. However, the last few times the service was very inattentive. After two hours, after the plates had been cleared, we had to make a lot of effort to get something to drink. Very unfortunate. The food is great, but with this service it's no longer fun.

I'm thrilled, which isn't often the case for me, today I started with a nut salad with egg, with fresh bread [pizza dough bread really tasty, lightly salted], then a calzone that was so big that the plate seemed small, and there was also some tomato sauce, then dessert and coffee. I'm full and satisfied, because I think the price and performance are very good. After paying we got a limoncello on the house, a very nice gesture. My wife, daughter and a friend were also enthusiastic. We all love coming back to Tomato

The food was good, a bit small portion (gyro plate) could have been more meat but the taste was great.

Reservation, reception, service, service and above all of course the food 1 x veal cordon bleu and 1 x pizza were really excellent. I think there really is absolutely nothing to complain about and we will definitely go back. Our daughter goes there often and she assured me that it is always like that. I like to support such committed people. You can also eat outside with blankets and a heater in the tent.

The staff had a bit of a chaos with the reservations. We were then ignored after we were seated. After a quarter of an hour we were allowed to order something to drink. After another 15 minutes, something to eat. The food was very good, I can only recommend tzatziki. The pizzas were also good. Finally, we got a limoncello on the house 😉.

Great place near the train station and centre of Muri township with a variety of dishes and a daily menu card including pizzas, pastas, salads and for those who like Greek cuisine. The personnel is very friendly yet professional even during rush times. Menus are within one's budget and not too pricey. There is a lovely terrace which can be completely closed off in case of rain. A very cozy atmosphere decorated with many plants and flowers everywhere. Will definitely visit this place more often in the future.
