Stylish and very pleasant, great food and very friendly people

I only read very positive reviews. Unfortunately, that was by no means the case for us. Unfortunately the food was extremely bad. The price/performance ratio is definitely not right. Our mistake was that we didn't complain. But one thing is certain, there will never be a restaurant in the temple again.

We were only here for dessert, so I'm only rating that. The apple strudel is almost perfect. However, it doesn't come close to the strudel from CouCou in Freiburg am Breisgau. However, the Kaiserschmarn was great. Really good! The location is also very cool! Parking and golf courses available.

Nice service Very good food. Was a business lunch. Different dishes. Everything progressed quickly. Top! Would do it again.

A very good address to remember, a stone's throw from the Thune sud motorway exit. The exterior seems ordinary but don't hesitate to push open the 2 huge wooden doors! Neo-industrial wood decor, sober and warm. Comfortable armchairs. Top-notch welcome, impeccable service and above all a magnificent cuisine that sublimates each product. The dishes are delicious, copious, well presented and we leave delighted. This will be our reference when we return to the region. Congratulations to the whole team.

We had a fried chicken dinner today. Some of the chicken (chicken) were still red and not fully baked!!! Potato salad was like soup. One person on duty even though we had reserved a few months ago. We were 47 people. We'll NEVER go there again,

beautiful garden terrace, very pleasant despite the hot weather. The welcome was a bit annoyed by the service - we spontaneously decided to eat out for lunch and therefore didn't make a reservation, he wasn't happy about it. 🫣 Salad on the menu: leaves much too big, some already brown and sloppy. A meal was delivered incorrectly, ordered a hamburger (hit 2 on the menu), received m2 (menu) spaghetti. We had to ask about the cheese! (for me it's just a part of pasta) food was ok, but bland. Lemon sauce in piccata cannot be “definable” as such. Espresso was great, otherwise I was disappointed!

Looking forward to a refreshment after a round of golf. Unfriendly reception, no hot food left at 1:35 p.m. Service will check whether we will receive anything else. 1:55 p.m. we ask at the counter whether there is something warm from the kitchen AND we can at least drink/order something. Service itself just at the food. Service then informs us at the table that there is no more from the kitchen, no small menu, no sandwiches - nothing. For a business that is open all day for golfers - unfortunately no.

Very friendly welcome from the boss himself. The waiter who served us was also very attentive and in a good mood, you could tell he enjoyed his job. Greek salad top fresh with homemade sauce, real Wienerschnitzel so delicious 👌👌👌. A large wine list. A large, quiet terrace with a pond. I felt comfortable and welcome. Thanks for your hospitality.

Not a welcome reception. Food was OK. Service leaves something to be desired. Wishes were only fulfilled with stupid sayings. Payment was unprofessional. As a reservation-based dining company, more is expected. Never again!

Waiting time at reception, despite a reservation the table was not provided with the desired number of people, inadequate care and poor service, the offer of dessert and coffee was forgotten and ignored when attempting to pay. It's a shame for the high price. And it is incomprehensible that the service staff drinks with the other guests during working hours and that we are not noticed.

Very nice atmosphere, great outdoor terrace, diverse authentic menu. Salad with chicken strips had an unusual taste, the other dishes were deficient. yummy. In my opinion, more sales could have been achieved with demand for drinks replenishment. But everyone else was very friendly.

We ate in the temple after my friend's graduation ceremony, our greeting was cold with the words: "The boss is coming soon" When the boss came, we were warmly welcomed by him. Really great guy. Our waitress, on the other hand, made a very listless, annoyed impression. The food was really great. The Wiener Schnitzel is highly recommended. When we consciously decided not to tip when paying, the last bit of friendliness from the service clerk fled. He turned away from our table without saying a word and went behind the buffet. He noticed a miracle when we went out.

There were three of us and we had reserved in advance. When we arrived we were greeted unfriendly by the boss. There is no space, it is full. We then said we had made a special reservation. We were then seated at a table inside. We were simply ignored for 25 minutes. No menu, no drink order. We then got up and said goodbye. Not even a reaction. Shabby for such a restaurant.

Ordered 3 x Wienerschnitzel with salad instead of fries. We were charged CHF 21 more without prior information. We complained and were told that a fitness plate was more expensive. We found this action very customer-unfriendly and unprofessional. Furthermore, the cola we ordered was forgotten and the wine wasn't refilled either. You would definitely expect more from a restaurant in this price range. There are no free parking spaces either. The price/performance ratio is definitely not right.

Excellent - although the restaurant was very busy, we still found space for three of us. The service is extremely friendly and attentive and the food is TOP!

Looked pretty good online and had good reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best day. The restaurant is quite cozy and the staff is friendly, but the food wasn't right today: the parsnip and Jerusalem artichoke soup was burnt, and the salad (immediately brought as a replacement) had rotten leaves. The spinach on the gnocci reminded us a lot of creamed spinach from the package and the mashed potatoes under the (fine) chicken breast were probably ready-made. In our opinion (at least today) not a place to recommend.

Really very good food, especially the Austrian specialties. The Wiener Schnitzel is a hit and I have never had such a good Wiener Schnitzel anywhere else in Switzerland. The soup as a starter was also very tasty.

Nice service, cozy atmosphere and fine food with an Austrian touch. Various menus, but also furnishings in the "Gaststube im Tempel" have inspired us to try them out ourselves (menus) or to make our own: we have currently recreated the beautiful wine rack out of old wood and steel, which is located in the back of the restaurant. Actually, the “temple” is worth a visit just because of the furnishings. The “Wiener Schnitzel” (regardless of which meat) is a poem.

The restaurant is very cozy and the Wienerschnitzel was one of the best I've ever had. However, I was negatively surprised that my change to the side dish cost an extra CHF 9, even though this side dish was included in another dish. When ordering, I was informed that this change would cost an additional CHF 3.50. Finally, CHF 9.- was charged. I also think it's a shame that a jug of tap water costs CHF 7.50, even though we had a good bottle of wine. All in all, the restaurant is very good for a delicious Wienerschnitzel. You just have to keep in mind that requests for changes are very expensive, as is the tap water.

Unfortunately it was not possible to order a coup in the afternoon. Kitchen is closed 😳

The food is very very tasty. The host particularly moved me to give a review because he gave us great advice with a tip for a seasonal starter, which we couldn't say no to because it sounded as delicious as it was. However, since this was more expensive than our first starter idea and we were two young friends, we were treated to a dessert. 1A host with great passion for his guests. Thank you!

If you want to enjoy a Wiener Schnitzel, you will find it right here. Excellent in taste, the cranberries taste just as good. The staff is always friendly, nice and has a sense of humor. The atmosphere is cozy both inside and outside. We always enjoy coming by 👍

Attentive service and very pleasant staff. The dishes met our expectations. Beautiful shaded terrace, comfortable and opulent interior rooms. Large parking lot nearby. You are welcome even if you don't play golf. B-mol: dessert menu and especially ice cream quite limited if not weak. Singing!

We celebrated a birthday there on August 19th, 2022. We were 6 people. We had schnitzel and beef fillet. Everyone was full and overjoyed. The desserts once again impressed everyone. Especially me. I have been on a gluten-free diet for 35 years. The main course was, of course, gluten-free. The chef spontaneously conjured up gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn for me. To this day I am thrilled. If I could give 10 stars, I would give it 11. Reservation is necessary, also inform if you have celiac disease. The service was also great, humorous and courteous.

Unfortunately an extreme waiting room, Appero was forgotten for 20 minutes, we waited another 20 minutes for the starter. We had to wait 30 minutes for the main course. Something like that is simply not acceptable. Clearing up after dinner took another 25 minutes. The food was rather mediocre. Just like the whims of the operating staff, they were completely overwhelmed. Once and never again

Ah, we ate well. The dessert (Vienna apple strudel with vanilla sauce) was also to die for. The staff was very friendly and we never had to wait long. And because it was our wedding anniversary, the boss personally presented us with a bottle of wine. Great and thank you very much again. We'd love to come back.

You immediately feel at home in the restaurant, it is decorated with great attention to detail. I immediately noticed that each table has a small side table. This means that the middle of the table is not filled with all sorts of things. So you have enough space to enjoy the food and the company. The service staff is friendly and courteous, and also excellently organized. This was also clear because the restaurant was almost full and a large party was served including a buffet. The food was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked from starters to dessert. The meat was of high quality and the fillet was cooked just right. This restaurant is highly recommended and we look forward to our next visit.

You can't beat it when it comes to unfriendliness. After a long wait, the waitress came and said this table was reserved (even though it wasn't written on) then we moved to another seat. When I asked for the menu, she said there were no desserts. That was enough for us, we got up and continued walking. Such disastrous service in such a place.

I was able to enjoy a perfect birthday meal in the restaurant in the temple. As a starter, a chestnut soup poured at the table, incredibly delicate and beautifully presented. Main course Wiener Schnitzel and for my companion a zander fillet on beetroot risotto. Extremely delicious. Very nice and warm staff. I received a generous gift from my boss for my birthday. A restaurant highly recommended! Thanks!!

Original, high-quality restaurant, great meat dishes

This is a great place to recharge your batteries after golf. You can get good food here and in summer you can get refreshing drinks or cocktails here. The terrace offers a great view of the mountains. The service is very attentive and friendly.

We were in the Fonduestübli, the food was fantastic and I ate too much. The staff and the boss are very charming. I couldn't always afford it, but every now and then I definitely make a reservation. We were there before this "certificate" and the temple was full.
