Delicious food, good price, fast and pleasant service. It's a family business and you can feel the warmth of this unpretentious restaurant. We have been coming here regularly for years and everything is always perfect. Very warm owner, his wife and his cook cook divinely. well.🙏

A little noisy that evening, excellent food

The food was tasty and the staff was very nice to us. However, the portions, especially of meat/chicken, were incredible small given the price. Apperently the place has changed owners or chefs recently, so they have reduced the sizes of the dishes by a great deal while increasing the price. Would not suggest for students.

I had an excellent evening at the Ge’ez restaurant, an Ethiopian establishment located in Lausanne. The Ge'ez royal menu allowed us to sample a variety of traditional dishes, all delicious and filling. The service was impeccable, the staff smiling and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to travel for a meal.

The waiting time was too long, whether for the dishes or to pay the bill. What shocked us the most was the quantity of beef for two people (we took the royal gee'z at 52.- per person). This disappointed us greatly given the price of the dish.

We ordered a menu for 3 people. take away. It really was a big scam, pure and simple. We had lots of spinach and potatoes and carrots. Regarding the rest we had absolutely no meat just too many sauces inside 3 tiny slices of meat but then the chicken is even worse for 77 frs never again 👎 I usually order from Nil Bleu or Abyssina .

My mother and I ate a Ge’ez Royal (assorted meats and vegetables on an injera). Very pleasant and incredibly friendly service. Delicious and traditional food. More than affordable prices. I can only recommend!

honestly every time I set foot in the restaurant, for me it's like a trip to Morocco, I ate the couscous, the tagine and it's a delight every time, and the chef Rachida is super nice, we feels the generosity of Morocco.

As we passed the restaurant, we were attracted by the smell. We ended up turning around to indulge and got some lamb couscous to take away. The dish was really very good and the meat was very tasty. The welcome was also very friendly, and we look forward to returning there to eat there when the restaurants can reopen.
