The place was great and the food was good. When we went on a Thursday evening it was very quiet so it lacked atmosphere.

Fantastic authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food, welcoming, warm atmosphere and lovely staff..no wonder we keep going back there!

Everything was perfect, from the service to the atmosphere to the amazing food options. We were in the cocktail bar upstairs which was great for having some drinks with friends and family. The staff were super helpful giving amazing recommendations for food and drink options. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some delicious food and drinks with family or friends!

We had authentic and delicious pasta dishes. The service was friendly, cheerful and informative. The meals were also extremely good value. We highly recommend Gigi's Cucina.

Fabulous value even when not attending on half price pizza and pasta evenings (Wed, Thur, Sun). A real surprise to see the bill when such lovely food.

This is my favourite restaurant in Sheffield, it is unique and always feel special, the staff are welcoming and it is great for all ages … it always gives me an excuse to dress up for dinner ! Definitely worth the money and they have half price pasta and pizza on Wednesday and Thursday!!! 😎 👌🥰

I've eaten here a couple of times and both have been excellent. Definitely a modern aesthetic and a welcome break from trad Italian restaurants. The sharing platters are excellent and some of the best calamari I've ever had! Cracking pizzas and pasta too, which on Sundays are 50% off making it remarkable value. Nice bar upstairs if you want to extend your evening. Parking is on the street and can be tricky sometimes, but other neighbouring streets offer good alternative parking places. Highly recommended.

Really nice vibes and atmosphere, quite calm. Only one waitress serving so was pretty slow to get drinks etc. Had the pastas which were tasty, could have had a bit more flavour. Very decently priced for the atmosphere

One of the best places to eat in Sheffield.

So disappointing. We went here last year and loved it so booked again for my birthday. The wine was good but the most of the food was awful, and the rest mediocre except for the pizza which my husband liked. My son and I had bruschetta to start which was tasteless and just seemed to be tomatoes chopped up on toasted bread with a whole ball of mozzarella cut in 4 and stuck on top. The calamari starter was tough and my risotto was bland and oily and didn’t really have the texture of risotto at all. We were the only people in the restaurant and although it looks really nice we were cold. The person who served us was very nice and efficient and I felt sorry for her as we clearly weren’t enjoying the experience. She did reduce all our mains by 50%, which was a nice gesture

Really disappointed. Lovely decor and staff but food was poor, especially for the price. My dish was lukewarm so had to send back, it lacked flavour and the meat was chewy and dry.

Disappointed! Our previous visit was excellent but this time was really disappointing. Our Main course was very dry and tasteless and the service seemed rushed…..to the point of taking plates before one of our party had finished. The noise and foul language from a private party upstairs was also really off putting.

Rarely have I had such horrible food at an Italian restaurant. The pizza was ok, just ok. The focaccia with mozzarella was very obviously heated from frozen, as it was still cold, nearly frozen in the middle. The Pollo Milanese's pasta was spicy at indian food levels and overcooked to the point of being almost inedible. It wasn't even the enjoyable heat from fresh chilli peppers that complements food, it was a vile spiciness of a lot of chilli flakes overpowering any sense of taste or enjoyment. The chicken was Iceland-grade frozen chicken escalope that they were attempting to pass as gourmet. The ragu was bland and the pasta was overcooked. The Don Gigi seafood pasta was basically pasta Jalfrezi. So very spicy, overpowering any other sense of taste. The Alla Zozzona's pasta was very thick making the texture horrible, the mushrooms were very chunky and chewy and the dish was again bland. We skipped dessert because we decided to spare us from the agony that it would most certainly entail. We felt sorry for the servers that were making honest attempts to try and promote these horrible dishes. We will definitely not be going back.

Could of been on the island of Capri for all I new. Food is authentic so is the staff. From the cocktail I had at the upstairs bar to the food I ate downstairs perfect

Fantastic food and service. The best bruscheta we've ever had! Really friendly staff and an absolutely beautiful venue. We sat on the terrace and it was like a mini Italy. They also have the most gorgeous bar upstairs with delicious cocktails. This was our first visit and we can't wait to go back.

The salad had clearly come out of a bag and had dry and brown bits and no salad dressing. Certainly not worth anything like the £9.50 they charged for it. But the worst bit was that when they asked if everything was okay we complained about the salad and they were rude and aggressive with us instead of taking our comments professionally. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

A strange place. I ordered a drink and there was lipstick on the glass. My wife's knife had some brown gunk on it. The waitress asked us if we enjoyed the cake that we'd ordered for pudding - we said not really. Someone who I assume was the manager came out and explained that it was Italian cake and was supposed to be dry and tasteless. She said she would take 25% off - I thought that was a bit excessive to be honest - I know the glasses and cutlery were dirty, and the food was average, but 25% off the bill is too much. Whilst I was protesting it dawned on me that she meant 25% off the cake 😂! I mean... thanks for the £1.65 deduction guys, really softens the blow of a pretty poor experience.

Came for a friend's birthday. Service was not great. Ordered red wine and waitress brought white. When we explained this, the waitress argued that we'd ordered white for some time before swapping it over. Drinks were slow to arrive. Had to ask for salt. Waitress leaned over my starter when she bought it for a friend. The birthday girl ordered beef Wellington. Was asked how she'd like it cooked and asked for well done. Staff came back and said they couldn't do this or the pastry would be black. Friend said, as long as the beef's not red and bleeding on the plate, that's fine. It arrived. Black pastry and almost blue red meat. Dripping in the plate. Inedible. When we complained, no surprise, but they argued about it. Just a horrible meal for my friends birthday. Awful customer service. They did finally offer my friend a free dessert (we decided not to risk that) but she had a free cocktail instead. The rest of us found the food good, but the service was far from palatable. Such a shame.

Lovely place and friendly staff. Not sure if there has been a change of ownership because the food was not as nice as previous visits, definitely not freshly cooked and the bread had been microwaved so very chewy.

My friends and I spent an abolutely lovely Sunday lunch at Gigi's. Such a chilled vibe. The food was fantastic and the service was equally as great. Such a friendly atmosphere. If you're thinking of meeting friends or just having a relaxing lunch, Gigi's is perfect. I would to go there when it's buzzing on an eveningand see the difference. Couldn't recommend it more and we will definitely be returning soon. X

What a fantastic place to eat. I frequently visit Sheffield and eat all over. Still to this day this is one of the best places I've eaten. We visited one day when they were closed without realising and they stayed open to serve us lunch. The food was amazing and so was the decor. It is family run and the majority of food is homemade and fresh. Whenever I go out to eat in Sheffield and it's a special night, this is one of my first choices. Recommend!

Customers talking loudly over too loud music. Found food bland, needed seasoning and lemon juice . Strange main consisted of breaded chicken with spaghetti ,sun-dried tomatoes and herbs. Spoon should have been provided for spaghetti.

The local family run business is lovely. Really nice food, very decent portions and staff were really friendly. There were a few small things that could have been better (like having the specials at the beginning, and a cooler for the wine) but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Would definitely recommend!

I love this place so much! The serving staff are always friendly and fun, the food is lovely and the drinks are gorgeous. You must go, and you must have the squid, chicken Milanese, pork belly, sausage rigatoni, tiramisu, espresso martini and aperol spritz. We always take our out of town visitors here, can’t beat the hospitality. Can’t wait for their little bar to open upstairs!!

Dommage car le restaurant a du potentiel, joli décor, belle terrasse.. mais malheureusement cela s'arrête là. Je suis allé 3-4 fois chez Gigi entre temps et c'est toujours la même chose.. une armée de serveurs qui courent dans tous les sens mais les mains vides et une attente interminable pour passer la commande et recevoir les plats. En parlant des plats, les pizzas sont très bonnes mais les pâtes ne valent pas le prix pour la quantité. L'excuse du 'nous servons des pâtes fraiches' n'est pas valable car la quantité des pates (+sauce) est vraiment minuscule (contrairement au prix ) et se prête pour une entrée mais certainement pas pour un plat principal. Si vous allez chez Gigi pour les pates, partez du principe que vous allez repartir sur votre faim.Gigi ne vaut pas vraiment le détour à mes yeux.

Les pizzas étaient vraiment délicieuses et les ingrédients de qualité. Pas le meilleur tiramisu que j’ai mangé mais acceptable. Malheureusement l’attente interminable entre chaque étape fait perdre tout son charme... Au moins 20min pour avoir la carte, autant pour prendre notre commande. Aussi long pour recevoir les plats et je parle même pas de l’attente pour le dessert, bien que la terrasse étaient quasi vide à ce moment là, tant il était tard... Dommage

Wait staff were fantastic, service was quick and the restaurant outdoor seating was well heated and distanced. The wine was delicious, especially the red we had. However the food was just not great, the beef and polenta was so salty and the sea bass was underwhelming. Just such a shame because everything else was so fantastic.

Following Covid rules and felt very safe here. My friend calls me the Covid queen I’m very critical if not following the rules. Couldn’t really fault them.

Un de nos derniers restos avant confinements, très jolie décoration, personnel jeune et sympathique, bonne ambiance mais c'est surtout très bon, les prix sont doux, une bonne surprise. A bientôt après le confinement.

L'accès au restaurant est facile, en bus ou en voiture (parking juste en dessous). La carte est sympa mais les prix relativement élevés. Les portions sont par contre généreuses et les pizzas sont très bonnes. Il y a des vitres en plexiglas entre les tables mais c'est globalement assez bruyant. En été, la terrasse doit être agréable.

Accueil chaleureux, mets délicieux, on va revenir très vite aussi bien pour déjeuner ou diner, on testera aussi le brunch du dimanche.

Le serveur me dit mais si vous les prenez pas vais devoir les mettre sur ma note à moi.Scandalisée et remontée je lui réponds laissez tomber je vais les prendre vos cocktails. Je demande si je peux avoir du pain poivre et sel. Il me répond oui bien sûr. 10’ passent et toujours rien. Ras le bol je me lève de ma chaise avec ma jambe plâtrée et je me dirige vers une jeune serveuse pour lui demander du pain. 2 secondes après c était apporté. De par sa décoration qui sort de l’ordinaire qui nous transporte dans dans de grandes capitales comme Paris ou Londres et sa cuisine qui nous fait découvrir l’Italie, et son service sur mesure, je recommande pour toute sortie entre amis, dîner aux chandelles ou pizza à l’emporter :) gros plus pour la terrasse également par ce temps d’été!

Très très bon restaurant italien vers la gare des Eaux-vives ! Pas énormément de choix, et tant mieux, mais on hésite vraiment à tout goûter tellement la carte donne envie. Les plats sont innovants et sortent de l’ordinaire. Le personnel est au petit soin, et gros plus pour la terrasse qui est au calme et très agréable en été. Un sans faute !

Accueil pas top... lorsque j’ai posé la question à la personne qui nous a reçu « vous ne portez pas de masque » après plusieurs explications... il me répond «  vous n’êtes pas obligé de rester... »Rapport qualité prix pas top non plus :-(

Une table pour 4 réservée pour 20h15, nous sommes à l’heure et pas de table pour nous. Obligé de prendre l’apéro debout dans la rue en attente d’une table (60 min quand même)... bref, la table c’est bien mais encore 30 min pour la commande, ça commence à être franchement long... les mets sont excellents mais le personnel toujours pas à notre écoute, nous avons dû demander l’huile piquante 2x. Après discussion avec le maître d’hôtel, excuses formulées et cafés et limoncello offerts sauf qu’au final les cafés étaient sur l’addition et que dire de la carafe d’eau du robinet à CHF 5.-... bref dommage car la cuisine est bonne, mais le propre d’aller au restaurant avec des amis c’est de passer un bon moment, pas de se battre pour tout, nous n’y retournerons pas malgré les pizzas excellentes.

Nous sommes allez dîner un soir en famille pour manger un bonne pizza en plein coeur des eaux-vives.Tout c’est très bien passé, la pizza était très bonne et les desserts aussi.En revanche (et c’est pour cela que je ne mets que 3*) j’avoue avoir été surpris de voir que la carafe d’eau était facturé (5 chf/u soit 5 x 3 = 15 chf). Je ne trouve pas cela correct sachant que c’est juste de l’eau du robinet.Je ne vous recommande donc pas spécialement cette adresse sans vous défendre d’y allez. Cordialement,Un consommateur déçu

Magnifique adresse au coeur de ce nouveau centre à Genève, sortie de la gare des Eaux-Vives du CEVA, l'adresse propose une carte simple, mais redoutable de finesse dans le choix de ses produits ainsi que la transformation !Adresse à faire toutes saisons, terrasse et déco sont réussis !

Nous sommes allés dimanche, pour le brunch, avec nos deux enfants (1 et 3 ans)Personnel très accueillant et très gentil avec les enfants.Nous avons bien mangé (œufs Bénédicte), pour les enfants ils nous ont proposé de simplifier le plat.Pas donné mais le personnel mérite ce prix.

Tolle Pizza! Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen - schöne Atmosphäre, Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und gute Getränke. Die Pizzen waren unglaublich. Der Ort ist auch gut für eine kleinere Gruppe. Rafael, der uns bedient hat, war super nett und serviceorientiert.

Sie gehen um den Ort herum und fragen sich, was Sie einmal drinnen bekommen werden.Absolut wunderbar! Ab dem Moment, in dem Sie eintreten, haben Sie einen Blick von oben auf die offene Küche, in der 6 Köche aktiv und sorgfältig Ihre Gerichte zubereiten. Der Küchenchef gibt jedem Teller den letzten Schliff und Sie kommen dorthin - im modernen Italien.Der Service war einwandfrei - die Kellner sind definitiv keine Anfänger, obwohl jung und lächelnd.
