The most delicious pesto spaghetti I have tasted in my life, without exaggeration, and I do not recommend the rest. They gave us delicious hospitality and their service was nice, but a little slow. I did not take a picture of the bill. I forgot, but the price of spaghetti is considered expensive, approximately 10 Kuwaiti dinars. These are the prices of most Swiss restaurants.

Food is OK, little bit pricey... service is very good but i went there on my wife's birthday and i asked special dessert but they forgot that was very disappointing..

Very disappointed, meal for 2 on a Sunday evening, Correct welcome but very young and inexperienced waiter… We ordered a very good, hearty Milanese veal chop but the accompaniment is ridiculous, insignificant fries probably frozen with no taste (68€)!! I don’t understand this choice of Italian accompaniment… Tagliatelle with truffles, the visual is pleasant but no flavor, we don't find the taste of the truffle...(55€) And the deserts are even worse, no flavor, no taste,... very, very disappointed!

We wanted to celebrate with friends and had the best time at Il Vero. They gave us an amazing table in front of the “jet d’eau”, it is the best terrace in town. The food was delicious, we tried a selection of starters, all the Italian classics were a hit! Mains were as great as starters, generous plates and amazing Italian flavors! We had an amazing moment and hope to come back very soon!

Beautiful place with a magnificent view of the water jet

Great food and wonderful views of the lake. The menu isn't extensive, but the few items I tried were quite tasty. The burratina, in particular, was a highlight. The service was attentive, and it had a fine dining atmosphere, but it didn't feel over the top.

Overall rating was very good. This place offers a 45chf burger so it tickled my curiosity. It was described as a black italian burger, from the hands of the Chef. Never having heard of an italian burger I decided to take the chance. It was interesting, some kind of black dough/bread certainly added to the unique look but imho did not add any special flavor. The burger was served with pesto, mozarella and an “italian sauce”. The meat quality was excellent and the burger served medium, to perfection, as ordered! I was a little worried that the peato could be too over powering but the chef found a good balance between pesto, cheese and sauce; so that the meat flavor could still be enjoyed. The service staff was courteous, professional but occasionally we had to wait a little too long for drinks to arrive. The desert was great and for the coffee there were some complimentary pastries. They were very generous with the pastries and the gesture was highly appreciated from our side.the restaurant inside feels very formal and a bit “dark”, perhaps risking the false impression of not being entirely welcoming, but offers nice ciews of geneva lake. Having said that, I would not be able to offer an opinion as to what would change that perception (purely subjective opinion/feeling). The fish and pasta dishes looked excellent and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Do not waste your money here. The view is 5 stars, it really is beautiful. However, both the food and service are really poor, and the prices are outrageous.

Wonderful experience for Sunday brunch. The quality of the food is very good and varied. The fresh fruit juices are excellent and the desserts are stratospheric. The service was top notch, welcoming, friendly and helpful (we had a person in a wheelchair). The Floorrtwo bar is great for aperitifs and more. Pool and spa just wonderful. A big thank you to all the teams.

The foods are amazing, beautifully presented and delicious. The Italian waiters are professional, friendly and very helpful. They gave us some tips for our coming trip to Sardinia. What a beautiful restaurant with nice view of the lake.

The worst service that I ever seen

The service was excellent, thanks to Sarah, who was attentive . The food was delicious, especially the shrimp and calamari, which were perfectly cooked and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

Disappointing experience despite the idyllic setting I ate at the restaurant il vero spaghetti with non-existent and very salty octopus. I returned my dish barely eaten but billed for it anyway. A real disappointment.

I booked a table with a view and the view was amazing, with dinner at 8 pm. We ordered dinner, which was very delicious, dessert and coffee, a session of a lifetime. Honestly, the place and food are amazing and the service is amazing. It is worth a visit and recommended.

I do not believe there is an Italian chef in the kitchen turning out this bland, very average food. OK starter but can't go wrong with a tricolour salad!! Main of trofie pasta was not worth the calories! Firstly the pasta was not trofie pasta. This dish itself was dry and lukewarm like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. I would have complained but we had been waiting for about 40mins for the food to come. I nibbled a bit and left the rest. My father's meat should have been medium but it was tough and over cooked. Very disappointing! Good view though...

I didn't like the way the employees treated us as veiled girls. They forced us to sit at a specific table, and their excuse was that other tables were reserved. However, when other people arrived, they allowed them to choose the appropriate table for them.

What is 95€ for Sunday brunch??? It is the most expensive and the least qualitative that I have tasted. Nothing justifies the price in the dishes offered except the champagne.

Everything is very good except that I didn't like their hot chocolate

Food was cold when served, took us 30 minutes to finally get a bottle of fizzy water, another 10 minutes for the beer and wine. The head waiter spoke perfect French and English and was very kind and helpful, the rest of the staff were very poorly trained and didn't speak French. Sorry for a five star (price wise), I'd expect better. For desert we had Tiramisu, never had one like that before, it was a pastry, but not at all a Tiramisu. Stronly suggest not to eat at this restaurant.

Incredible buffet with a sublime view of the lake and its jet. Very attentive staff with special mention for Noe who took care of us from A to Z and who made our wedding anniversary a perfect moment, and it is so appreciable and appreciated to be taken into account. A small chocolate plaque was even given to us for the occasion. To do, redo and re-do.

First time dinner with family. Great attentive service - pleasant deco/atmosphere but....what disappointing culinary experience!!! Completely overpriced, uninspiring and frankly rather small portionsweise. Best were French Fries. Never again!

I'm hesitant about the grade. Already the meal was delicious and that’s ok. But the service needs an upgrade. The breaks between long courses, the main course served before the starter, and we waited for the drinks, too bad. Wine was offered to us for the inconvenience.

My hotel strongly recommended this beautiful place to me! I proposed there, it was great! Our table was quiet so that we could have peace of mind, the team had even put a little decoration on the table! I loved the pleases which were beautifully designed! I have never eaten dessert this good. The black forest was perfect!! My husband had dessert at the Apple and caramel with a cookie middle. He loved it!!! This is the worst Italian food I have ever had.I had lunch here with family.We ordered two pasta and 1 risotto.None of the 3 dishes taste like general Italian food.I can’t imagine that there is food like this in Geneva.We only ate less than a half of the food.

We have been received By Miguel who received us with great kindness, we were celebrating my wife's birthday and after excellent service and a sumptuous meal, Mr. Miguel and the other employees brought a small dessert and sang happy birthday to my wife who was very happy... Food not 5*star hotel at all, pulpo with mashed potatoes, super dry. Linguine with lobster, I think it was 1/5 of a lobster but a mountain of noodles. And noodles with truffle, a joke, artificial truffle sauce, and 7 slices of truffle, and again a mountain of noodles. This is basic pizzeria style, but 4 times the price. Gourmets don't go there! Ambience really needs to be revisited, it's such a cold style, @the management: the windows now are closed, there is NOTHING that is nice and cozy to look at, think about it. What ambience would you want to sit in for a few hours eating Italian dishes? Certainly not the one presented at this restaurant, sorry.

This place has an amazing terras where you can enjoy your food with good weather. There is a beautiful vieuw of the lake. We had starters to share and the truffle pasta as a main course. Everything was very tasty. The service was good but could have been quicker. Overall good experience.

What a fantastic experience in Geneva! We booked a reservation in advance and let the restaurant know we were celebrating our honeymoon. The service we received was incredible. Since we were travelling, the staff held our luggage for the duration of lunch, gave us several options of tables by the window to choose from and we felt very tended to. The meals itself were delicious and we received a surprise dessert as well. The views are also spectacular.

My daughter and I came to the Il Vero restaurant for dinner...the view was beautiful, the staff was very kind and helpful, there were options to sit both indoor and outdoor ( reservation recommended) however, the food was not very good, for the price they charged we expected better quality food. My daughter didn't like any of the dishes we ordered even though Italien is one of her favorite cuisines. 😞

The food is very good and the service is good, except for the employee at the restaurant’s reception. His behavior is bad, unhelpful and arrogant. When we asked for the manager, he told us that he was the manager in fact, which spoiled our enjoyment.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. They will charge you 49chf for truffle pasta which will just be tagliatelle with half-salted butter, some truffle shavings and parmesan. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

Good...the service is very slow and the food is rather good

I’m not sure about every day of the week but on a Sunday we we visited around 1:00PM and the only option was a buffet which was sub par. They have champagne near the buffet, but be sure to know that each glass will cost you $20-$30 per serving even if you don’t fill your glass. I don’t mind paying a good amount for great food and good drinks but this place is not worth it at all. The chairs are old and dirty, the view is nice but that’s about it. We enjoyed dinner and lunch at other restaurants in Geneva during our stay that were superb. This was our first option during our travels and we chose it due to reviews. I recommend looking at other options. Not worth the money at all. We should have known when they said only Buffet. 😒

Worst customer experience ever!! The waitress is very rude

I have been to the restaurant twice while I was staying in the hotel because the kids wanted pasta, in both times I was disappointed with the service, its not up to fine dining standards nor good hotel restaurants. The menu is very limited and nothing special about it. What make it worsr is the restaurant Manager, Marceau i think his name trying to outsmart the guest, wheb you order salad with burrata they service you mozzarella instead. When you order medium well stake you get it over well done, and unfortunately this order was taken by the restaurant manager who is far a way from head waiter. I think thr F&B Manager need to make a surprise visit or hire a mystery shopper. Never again this place for dinner even it has prime location and great view

Having had the opportunity to go to Il Vero many times, I remain under the spell of this restaurant with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva. Perfect in the summer season to admire the view and the water jet as well as in winter with a warm and cozy interior. The breakfast is excellent and varied. The staff is always available, helpful and professional.

The quality of the brunch buffet is superlative. What costs it its 5th star is the price of the Mother's Day one at 110 instead of 80. At this price without alcohol, I am doubtful. Apart from that and for me it's not prohibitive (I don't drink alcohol), it was a very good taste experience. Salmon, ham, scrambled eggs, juices, meats, cheeses and desserts, just wow! The staff is very good. If we feel that some lack experience (youth), this is largely compensated by their eagerness, their desire to be of service. Today brunch for 3 people. A superb time spent with the family, first of all as I had asked when booking the best table in the room for the view in front of the jet. We visited the restaurant on our first anniversary. The service was great and friendly, food tasted really well. Amazing view on the lake. There isn’t a lot of options in terms of pasta, unfortunately. I got to order the truffle pasta (which the recommended and tasted great) and my wife got the veal Milanese and also was great. We also had the tuna sashimi for the appetizers (which really tasted great). I would definitely recommend and will hopefully return.

Wonderfull location in front of the Lake, nice terrace. Italian cousine a bit confused (some bizzare pasta mixing Sardinia and Sicily flavour) and more with an international taste (very good octopuss, pasta...so and so...). Quite expensive for food quality but in Geneve, front lake...can not expect to be cheap.

Je vous déconseille fortement ce restaurant. Nous nous y sommes rendues hier soir à deux. Il n'y avait qu'une autre table de prise ce soir-là par deux clientes. A l'apéritif, la serveuse se trompe, nous amène du champagne rosé à la place du brut que nous avions commandé. Elle fait le changement mais c'est le rosé qui nous sera finalement facturé. Ensuite nous prenons la mozzarella tressée à se partager, elle est totalement sèche, absolument pas crémeuse, elle devait traîner à l'air libre depuis des jours. Ensuite nous prenons les tagliatelles à la truffe (CHF 49.- le plat). Il y a 4 minuscules morceaux de truffe et les tagliatelles ne font qu'un seul bloc entre elles ! On pourrait soulever le tout à l'aide d'une fourchette. Nous commandons pour terminer des digestifs que nous commandons sans glace, et qui arrive finalement avec glace. Pourquoi poser la question pour ne pas être à l'écoute des clients. Bref, service pas top avec beaucoup d'erreurs et nourriture à éviter. Nous sommes malades en plus aujourd'hui, sûrement à cause des tagliatelles qui baignaient dans le beurre et beaucoup trop cuites ! Ne vous ruinez pas pour mal manger !
