Had my birthday lunch here and it was delicious. Specially cooked considering the weather without compromising on the taste. We opted for the thali and the Full moon curry was the star of the show. Lovely hosts.

Visited the restaurant around a month ago with my family and very much enjoyed everything about it. Probably the best pure vegetarian restaurant in Switzerland. The food tasted just like back home in Gujarat and was very invigorating. Joe ad his family are also very knowledgeable and nice to interact with. I wish him all the good luck in the future and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Lucerne in the future.

I visited this place with my husband during our trip in Lucerne. I will fall short of words to describe my experience visiting this restaurant and the chef Joe. All I can say is if you are someone who can eat vegetarian food 🥘 do visit this place once. Order anything and rest will be the best experience for the rest of your life. If you are an Indian and in Lucern visit all mountains but do also come here on day 1 to eat and I bet you will come again. I tried 6 Indian restaurant all are below par so I went here on my last day of trip and regret eating only once. Joe and his mother Katherine were so polite and amazing. Food is fresh and taste awesome and prices are normal unlike other Indian restaurant asking fortune for a meal. I order thali and salad both were huge in portions taste is good and taste is simply amazing not like restaurants curries but simple sober and nice called satvik bhojan. It is amazed to see how come a non Indian cooked so great it is because Joe lived in India for 14 years and can cook better indian meals than many indians 😊 This is a pure vegetarian restaurant which are hard to find these days.

Absolutely wonderful place to eat. We stopped by in a rush before playing a gig and the entire team was so accommodating. Some of the freshest food any of us had tasted and they went out of their way to help with one of our party who had a severe sesame allergy. Very well priced for Switzerland, very clean restaurant and such lovely people.

Goura's is a very good place to get saatvik (pure) indian food. The host and chef - Gopal Kripa is very cheerful and helpful person. Will make you feel at home and serve in all possible ways. It was touching when prepared and offered home medicine for cough for us. Excellent hospitality and helpful in many ways. Will definitely recommend to all vegetarians.

Just wow!! Had been there with my mom who has 30+ years of cooking Indian food and she said WOW for the taste. We were 3 people who visited, we took three day thali, the food had authentic taste and the ambiance felt home. Joe, is an amazing chef who is down to earth, polite and he really knows his stuff. Do visit this place if you are in Lucerne. I wish them the very best and i wish Joe comes up with different types of amazing dishes.

What a wonderful place! I'm not a vegetarian to start with but wanted to try something new, a bit of a challenge. The extremely friendly host explained to us the menu but I didn't really know the meals so we asked if he could make a bit of a journey through his meals. He presented us with several dishes which all tasted so extremely good! Not for a moment that I missed any meat. All dishes had different flavours and structures and we were tasting like picking candy in a candy shop. If you are close by, please visit this place and you won't regret it! :-)

My highest recommendation for a dining place. The only place I would want everyone to visit and experience themselves, hence the only review ever. The best part are the people running the place. And their kindness flows in the food. Now details: 1. Ambience: calming, clean, you enter into the aroma of Indian food. Soothing music. 2. Food taste: amazing, fresh prepared. The chef innovates his preparation. They make food without onion or garlic (my parents eat Jain food). I can't recall better tasting food outside of my home. The chef made chai which was out of this world. High quality food. 3. Cost: 20-30 francs for 2. High quality experience. Worth it all and probably some more. We hope to return here prior to going to the airport.

Surprised to find this place in Lucerne offering PURE VEGETARIAN FOOD. What a surprise to find this fabulous Veg Restaurant in Luzern area! Bus # 2 from Luzern station takes only 14 minutes to reach the restaurant’s doorstep. My wife and I had a fantastic dinner. Dishes were excellent and so was the atmosphere. Owner of the restaurant, a Swiss national, has published two cookbooks and lived in India for many years to learn the Indian cuisine. We were tired of eating expensive junk food last 7 days in Switzerland until this evening. I strongly recommend this restaurant for lunch/dinner in Luzern area.

It was impressive how important it was to the hosts to take their guests on a journey to India and Ayurvedic cuisine. We were a birthday party and had a great buffet with at least 5 different dishes, each one a poem, which were initially introduced to us in detail. I also received a very personal explanation about water with its history, energy and structure, which the cook explained to me while he was filling the water jug, swinging it clockwise. An unforgettable experience - also for the birthday child. Thank you.

I was first surprised to find a pure vegetarian Indian restaurant at a tourist place like Lucerne. But after out first visit, all of us, including the kids, our elderly parents voted for a repeat visit to the place in our short trip. The food is freshly prepared , authentic, delicious, and yet light on tummy. You would not get some of the dishes in other restaurants as they are their own recipes. The best part is their warm and friendly nature. In short, you would have sathvik food in a pleasant ambience.
