Pub with good decoration and cozy. It has darts. The waiter was very friendly and spoke English perfectly.

Ordered the croque Madame and was given two bits of plasticky bread with some ham, some squeezy cheese and an egg on top. My friend had the club sandwich which had chewy chicken and a plain hard boiled egg, very uninspiring Would recommend for drinks and sport but do yourself a favour and eat beforehand

Disappointed, shocked... We wanted to have a half pint of beer/Guinness/other, even if it meant having another one, but the response from the two waiters was "we don't serve small beers, only large ones". We ended up drinking 3 pints for the price of CHF 30.- I like the setting there, it's magnificent, but following this bad experience I won't go back there again.

Sports pub serving pub food until late. The food was ok, generous portions. We had a couple of beers and whisky with ginger ale. Service was attentive.

Proper pub just a short distance from the lake. Nice atmosphere, couple of dart boards and some big tables for groups of up to 10 people. We had fun here, thanks to the staff.

Worse pub in geneva. They move you from table to table, then change tv sport to soccer. Beer most expensive in geneva. Pickwick or Lady Godiva is much better if you want to hang out with friends. Avoid "Not easy to please everyone"?? Doing what you did was just not acceptable! We came to watch a match, you move us, we said ok if we are in front of tv showing rugby, then after 5min, you switch channel??? NEVER AGAIN AT YOUR PLACE!!

The smell of smoke was so bad inside that my daughter could take it for 30 seconds. It was 95% men. We left almost immediately.

Very inconsiderate noisy place full of drunk young people shouting in the middle of the night. Not recommended

Average quality food for an unjustified price. They don't accept cards below 10 CHF while the rest of the neighborhood does... they took 1h30 to bring me a plate of fajitas one evening without much entertainment. No excuses, blaming the kitchen. So it's difficult to see where the quality of service lies... there are much better places in the area, especially for bland beer and greasy dishes without creativity.

Stopped here for lunch. Food was okay. Server was great.

Came here for dinner. We were seated outside right away. It was a pleasant evening outside. We ordered drinks and food. I ordered the chicken 🐔 and bacon 🥓 club sandwich. It was good, but the chicken was tough around the edges. The bacon in Europe is thick cut which i don't really care for, but it was good. Fries were perfect. Wife had the Caprese salad and she enjoyed that. The waiter was good up until our food came. Then we had to practically send up flares to get his attention. Not really sure why the service after your food is delivered suffers. Its a Europe thing. Overall it was a nice meal and experience. Good people watching outside. I would definitely come back again.

Went to this place on one of the hottest days because they had AC. Wasn't super cool in there but was enough to take the edge off of the 100 degree day. Fish from the fish and chips was excellent. Club sandwich was good except the chicken was a little dry from overlooking

English-style pub in the heart of Pâquis. Good atmosphere, there is the darts game. Large selection of beers and other alcohols.

Good service however 10,- a pint is SCANDALOUS, 26,- for 2 pints and a 2.5cl beer 6,- NEVER AGAIN 👎🏽

Had a great time here today with my family. It was our first time eating at Grand Duke and the fish & chips and the club sandwich were all amazing. We split a pitcher of beer as well. The waiter was great and he even gave us a round of lemon drop shots on the way out! I highly recommend

Spent 3 days in Geneva, at the end of the day finished up at The Grand Duke, great atmosphere, food and the staff were amazing.

Every year at EBACE, the Grand Duke is our base. Everything and everyone meets here - great atmosphere. Unfortunately, because of the residents, the operators have to limit the service outside in the evenings and keep “driving” people back onto the footpath. I always think it's great here - a great, rustic bar.

Decent British style pub. Has lots of tvs for sports. Football was on and could get a good view from anywhere.

Really tasty chicken and bacon club sandwich, just quite pricey. Staff were attentive and friendly, it was pretty pricey though. Slightly disappointing also that we did not ask for fries but got given fries and did not realise that was an extra charge on top of the sandwiches themselves. This may have been a language issue though since we aren’t from here

This pub is a great find. I felt very at home given the relaxed atmosphere. Drinks are served well. A bit pricey, but definitely in for a good time here.

Nice pub, although a little expensive

Our 1st visit was good so we went the 2nd time today. But one of the bar tenders there was Rude, asked him for a warm drink suggestion twice. He said look at the menu. 3rd time he asked what I wanted, I asked him to suggest. He said "just look at the menu, isn't that what the menu is for". Also asked for darts a couple of times. They never gave. Rude waiter.

Spent a week in Geneva and found this really good pub !! We eat 2/3 times in there and had the priviledge of watching Scotland rugby game there too . Great friendly staff and excellant ware would highly recomend it to anyone visiting Geneva 🇨🇭

Excellent place to have a beer in Geneva. The atmosphere is good, the beer is cold, the staff is very friendly and the burgers are DELICIOUS. So if you're out there, don't hesitate to stop by and de-stress with a beer and a hamburger.

The Duke burger special is excellent. The fries are good, the waiter friendly. Very fair prices. And the bench seats are unrivaled in comfort!

Nice food, we had sandwiches and they tasted pretty good. The interior is very dark, like a pub from the 1800's.

Average food tests and waiters are not much welcoming in comparison with price

I asked for what was in the Google photo, but regardless, they made me order the most expensive burger in the store. I left it because I was full, but they kept asking me when I was clearing the plate and they wouldn't leave. It was very inconvenient.

The atmosphere was great and the staff helpful. I ordered a Guinness draft beer and a burger, which, to be frank, was one of the tastiest that I had in my life. The highlight was the crispy bacon. The environment is multicultural which is also a great plus for a foreigner. I highly recommend it!

I would only say that the Grand Duke Pub should be added in The World’s 50 best pub. Everything is excellent, starting from the staff until their burgers. If you want to watch a match or drink something after work, this is definitely the best pub you can find in Geneva an maybe not only.

Dropped in on our way out to dinner to catch the start of the Jeddah GP. Friendly bar but some annoying noisy groups nearby!

Drinks and ambiance are good. Not a lot of options for vegetarians or vegans. We tried the burger and it was really good. Didn't like the cheese nachos too much though. Cheese cooled off in a few minutes and just stuck to the nachos and became like a heavy flake which wasn't so pleasant to eat.

Aweful experience! The waiter treated us (a group of 3 woman) extremelly bad. Worst misogynist treatment in Geneva!! After being seated and with our drinks served, the waiter came to ask us to move to a corner because a group of man wanted to watch the rugby match and our table had the screen in front. We explained we were there for the same reason (watching rugby) and to his most surprise he left and told to a colleague. The second waiter (perhaps the manager) came to request again the same thing. When we told him we wouldn't move he started to judge the amount of drinks we could take Vs what the other group could do and clearly he preferred them to be seated there. 7 years living in Geneva I have never seen such poor behaviour. In such international city I had never been such misogynist treatment towards me or my friends. You don't see how unpolite a barman is when you say Yes to everything wiht a smile, you really see how he really is when you stand up for yourself and say NO to a discriminatory situation. Never ever I will go there. I hope this post serves to identify this behaviour and correct it so no other woman feels the same there.

I was very surprise with the bill ... A diplomatico rhum 4cl was 22chf ... very expensif !!! When you know that the bottle cost 40 ... even for geneva

Grand Duke Pub is one of my favorite places to frequent when I’m in Geneva. Super friendly staff, delicious food, great pub atmosphere and well, great beers, wine and cocktails. What’s not to love!
