Grill Leschot was our first meal in Geneva and we sure felt lucky to have such a delicious arrival to the city. We opted to eat "sur place" (dine in) and that proved to be a great decision, as the two gentlemen running the restaurant were a pleasure to talk to. We started our meal with some of the best hummus I have ever had. When our flatbread ran low, they immediately provided some more, and it was perfectly warmed. My wife got a chicken wrap and I got beef - we both left very happy and well fed.

We have been to this small kebab place only twice as we usually eat our kebab in "Snack Istanbul" and shawarma in "Parfums de Beyrouth", both located near the lake and train station. Snack Restaurant Leschot is not in the same touristy area but offers very good Turkish food and super friendly service. To be honest, we have not tried the classic lamb kebab but the dishes we ordered (Adana kebab, Lahmacun, Karniyarik and the stuffed vine leaves) were all very good and the portions are very big. The Lahmacun and the stuffed vine leaves served here were much tastier than the ones we had in Snack Istanbul, however the karniyarik (stuffed egg plant) was just a tad spicy for me. In the spring and summer time, when the weather is good, you can sit outside (there are a few tables by the small road right across the snack) otherwise the place is tiny and there are unfortunately no tables inside.
