At the Grotto Eremo San Nicolao we first found some wonderful people, Roberto and Letizia were truly welcoming and kind. We were here by chance looking for nearby restaurants that were open at 3pm but everything was closed, here it said open but as soon as we arrived it was closed but speaking to the super kind and friendly staff we asked if it was possible to eat something on the fly and they told us that not there were problems we took a mixed platter and a good glass (cup) of wine... my goodness how good everything was, the platter was fabulous and the wine exceptional, the price was quite high but normal the products sent are sought after and local therefore for the products eaten it was worth 1 x2 cutting board and 2 cups of wine 65 euros

Si può visitare la chiesetta e la cantina che arricchisce la giornata con un po’ di cultura del territorio che no guasta mai. Consiglio vivamente una bellissima giornata in famiglia.

Ero già stata in questo Grotto con la vecchia gestione, già si mangiava bene,location stupenda con vista mozzafiato che col bel tempo è un paradiso,quiete e relax. Oggi sono stata a pranzo con mio figlio,la nuova gestione ha portato nuova vita al piccolo Grotto,tutto è rinnovato mantenendo la caratteristica del Grotto. Cibo ottimo e porzioni abbondanti. La polenta super,i formaggi nostrani,le patate al forno,tutto buonissimo! I gestori accoglienti e gentili lavorano con passione. La novità è la cantina,un gioiellino nella roccia dove poter gustare del buon vino coccolati dal silenzio...ci torneremo sicuramente!!!
