We sat on the terrace to taste their succulent double cream meringue (a Gruyère specialty). Small downside to note; we had to wait at least 5-6 minutes before being received and then another good 5 minutes to receive the cards even though there weren't a lot of people there, as it was 4 p.m. However, the only person serving the interior and exterior was very friendly, even if a little overwhelmed by the situation. I recommend Viveen their double cream meringue!

Very well located and cozy place. The dishes are very good, even if the potatoes served seemed "old" too soft in consistency and rough. Beyond that, the problem was really the slowness of the service. For 1 fondue we had to wait almost 1 hour after entry, even though there were not many people. We wondered if we hadn't been forgotten. Almost no visit from the server during the evening to see if everything was okay, except once at the end of the meal. We gave the benefit of the doubt and came back after 1 year and the service was no different. Too bad for a place like this.

The waitresses managed to find a place for my children and me (there were three of us) even though the restaurant was obviously full. I'm tall, I wanted to move the table away from the wall to be more comfortable. The waitress asked me to move the table closer to the wall, which I did. As I sat down again, I cracked my knee on one of the massive legs of the table. I was very, very hurt and everyone noticed it (waitresses included). It's a shame... Fondue and röstis were very good. However, too much pepper in my daughter's rösti. Fairly fast service. Didn't find an a la carte children's menu, don't you understand? Overall a nice experience. The waitress was very cute ;)

The thinnest roastbeef I ever met in my life coming directly from fridge, useless fried potatoes coming from freezer and a salad that taste exactly like the ones prewashed and premaded bought at lidl... All this with a Guinnes in bottle (my fault, I assumed that for 8 euro, it was a beer on tap and not pre-packaged). All this stuff for more than 40 euro !? C'mon! If u come here, take the fondue!

Delicious Vacherin fondue enjoyed on the terrace with a splendid view. The restaurant has a fairly small terrace located at the back. However, reservations required if you want to have a place. Worst experience in Switzerland, unfortunately big tourist trap, we are local and had a horrible evening, it all started with dry bread as a starter, we took planks which were not bad. Then for the main course, where to start... a raclette which arrives with almost moldy cheese, a fondue which we make much better at home because it arrives like chewing gum and honestly really inedible. A steak tartare which had no taste and to finish with rösti arrived honestly inedible. I came here for buffet breakfast which was meh, but their terrace is huge and has an amazing view! That being said… I came alone in the morning and besides me only one table was taken by a group of 4. I decided to sit at a big table (with 4 chairs) on the other side of the terrace. However, the waitress approached me and said in quite a rude manner that I „have to“ (??) sit at a smaller table for 2… despite my assurance that I’ll be gone quite soon and apparently the place is already not that popular and people are just not coming in at that time… she insisted, being again very rude. Honestly, this is the first time in my life that I witness such poor customer treatment. I guess it doesn’t matter how bad the service at your restaurant is, as long as tourists keep coming, nobody thinks they should even try to do their job properly

A pure disaster! The table was only partially cleaned, instead of a spritzer we received a hot chocolate, mixed salad (entrée) was served with fondue, cutlery had to be requested, the fondue was then rejected. After 1 1/2 hours we brought the dishes to the counter and asked for the fondue, half an hour later I went to the counter and asked for the bill, 5 minutes later the fondue arrived, which we no longer wanted to eat. We were so disappointed in the high-priced restaurant with this very poor service that we paid and enjoyed the fondue in another restaurant. In addition, the staff regularly dropped cutlery and a family with 2 loud children sat behind us, even though some tables would have been better suited for a family. There are many other restaurants that offer much better service.
