Good was really good but in the end you’re paying a lot of money for this and the waitress puts a mandatory tip. I loved it but I will never go back, just because of the TIP.

It was my first time there and I was quite pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was very good. The map is not very big but there is enough to read. Portions are large. The staff could be a little friendlier. Price is rather high. Instead, meat from Switzerland and from the butcher. You can also notice this in the taste. The restaurant as a whole is recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, which seemed very warm and welcoming to me. The dining area was also very nicely decorated. Well-stocked menu with Güggeli in the foreground. I ordered wings until enough. The meat was juicy and tender with perfectly seasoned sauces. The dessert menu is small but the meringue is huge. All in all it was a nice evening. The only drawback in the rating is the rather high price and the service could help you through the evening a little more cheerfully, after all it is a chicken coop. 👍

Unfriendly staff, orders not fully delivered and dirty dishes. When we asked if the staff could use the old drinks from the customers who were there before us, all we heard was an annoying murmur.

We had the chicken coop platter, starter and aperitif at this beautiful spot. The food was absolutely delicious and we can only recommend it. However, the service was very slow and sometimes absolutely unfriendly. We waited 20 minutes for a coke. We wanted these with the meal... when the boss came and asked if everything was ok and we said so, she interrupted us like that, she's not responsible for that. We understand that it is tiring in the restaurant, but the three people who were there were uncoordinated, unfriendly and also liked to stand around in the opposite direction. A pity...

Embarrassing. With a half-empty restaurant it took almost an hour to get the food, which I also completely repaid less than half an hour after leaving the place. I've had excruciating stomach pain for hours. Unfriendly and inattentive staff Furthermore, it is also quite expensive. In much more prestigious locations in the city I ate much better for less. We had lunch there this Sunday, spontaneously. Rather skeptical, as the beautifully located and easily accessible garden pub was still empty. Everyone was positively surprised by the very friendly service (family friendly!!) and the good cuisine. Both the various chicken specialties in the Chörbli and the beef tartare were really tasty, the fries were crispy and the various house sauces were well seasoned. The aperitif beforehand was also succulent 😉😊 It was great, I would happily recommend it and it certainly wasn't the last time I was there!! Bravo

Far too expensive for what is offered. Salad was good, main course way too much meat, won't be able to see chicken for a few weeks.

Fries are rather softer, but very delicately seasoned. Portions generally WAY too big. One serving is almost enough for 2 people. Unfortunately, the “sauce” with herbs is pure fat (liquid butter)...staff but very friendly and prices “okay” for these huge portions.

Outrageously expensive even by Swiss standards! Nice location, comfortably furnished. But no justification for the prices. Half chicken with fries 32 francs!

I discovered the Resti by chance while walking through the Mattenquartier from the other side because of the great evening lighting. So shortly afterwards I made a reservation for seven people for a Sunday at the beginning of February. Everyone was surprised and thrilled by the ambience. The staff was a bit stressed, the restaurant was really full, but always very nice and quick. Everyone was also enthusiastic about the food, the meat, everyone had chicken in different variations, was fresh and, above all, very juicy. We can't fault anything and so we'll be coming back soon.

Beautiful, illuminated outdoor space with a wonderful ambience, view and food in front of and in the Güggelibeiz. Attentive, friendly service. The delicious Güggeli variants with super-fine fries and a few other menu items are enjoyable. The portions are generous, which can also be taken away if there is too much. Highly recommended and we will visit more often.

The service was unfriendly and no one came to serve us for a long time. Side dishes for the tartar (olives and onions) were not fresh and almost dried out. Ambiance outside was nice.

Salad with "Güggeli" was good, unfortunately there was only a little bit of sauce (first world problem) Reservation tool absolutely unnecessary. Waiter knew nothing. The staff walked past us three times until we were seated. It's best done in summer, as soon as you can sit outside. Good ambience.

Went to the Güggeli Beiz at 1:20 p.m., open until 2 p.m.! Because the waitress didn't like the fact that we wanted anything else to eat, she said snappily that there was nothing left! Not even take away anymore! That's where we were last time...

Spotted it while walking past and reserved a table for the evening! Great friendly team and not only the entire atmosphere is fantastic, but the food anyway! Everything freshly prepared and served with love! Delicious ! There is a lot to admire inside and on warm days you can sit outside and enjoy the sound of the Aare!

1st condition couldn't be unfriendly 2. Güggeli very disappointing 3. Fries soaked in grease and barely crispy 4. Overpriced in all aspects of what we were served. For the first and last time, anyone who calls themselves that should be able to offer something different. From the cook to the waitress, everyone is in the wrong profession.

Went there because it was open on the internet. Then a friendly greeting from the board with the opening times Sun. 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. then head towards the Brückenmätteli restaurant. The 2nd board is available there today as an exception. completely unprofessional because they saw us through the window and didn't think it was appropriate to react. A really good idea... with really good food that unfortunately isn't run seriously either. Incidentally, they are also being lied to on the phone. All the staff are occupied but all the staff should have hidden. People can see you... What a shame

Unfortunately, the service employee who served us was not very motivated. Even after we had waited a whole hour for our chicken basket, she billed us incorrectly. A pity! 🤨 The food, on the other hand, was good and the atmosphere was very cozy.

Our company event yesterday was very successful. The food, from the aperitif to the Güggeli to the dessert, was extremely tasty. The outside ambience is “simply phenomenal”.

Basically I couldn't enjoy the evening, the chicken was very dry and the side dishes were far too salty. The salad was sloppy... The birthday surprise was ridiculous, the chicken costumes are a bit overkill.

The food was phenomenal. The service is very courteous and competent. The location is fantastic on a beautiful summer evening. I'd love to come back!

Chosen as an alternative on a Sunday evening, there weren't very many people. The selection according to the menu is not very large, the mixed salad and the wings with fries and a chili dressing were very tasty. If you don't like eating with your fingers, there are few alternatives. Top service, calm atmosphere, perfect for ending the day.

1. Güggeli-Beiz in Bern. Great old building with a beautiful garden. The Güggeli are perfect with the view of the cathedral.

The food is average and the prices are high. 40 minutes of waiting time over lunch for a Güggeli. The sauce costs 3.50chf is really funny and not nice.!!!!

Very nice location. Unfortunately, the gluten-free dishes are not gluten-free. So another restaurant that I don't like can visit more.

Food is alright, but prices are quite high and portions very small. If you must visit, rather just have a beer here and eat elsewhere.

The location on the Aare is great. The service is good. The food was also good, but the price performance was inadequate. Charging over 32.50 for a plate of prawns with around 15 pieces on it is too much for me and unfortunately the promised bread never found its way to our table. Catch of the day was a decent portion for 35.50. We will definitely stop by there again.

Nice place to linger, away from the hustle and bustle of the federal capital and yet right in the middle of it all. Reasonable prices, delicious food and courteous service. Conclusion: always happy.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant! When we got there, we had to wait an eternity until someone took the time to show us our reserved table... After that it took probably 20 minutes until someone finally came to ask us if we would like something to drink ! We then chose and ordered our dishes. We also chose a bottle of wine which wasn't exactly cheap... We were there at 7:30 p.m. and at 8:45 p.m. we were finally served the main course!! Food is quite expensive and doesn't taste particularly good! Nobody poured us the wine and nobody else ever came by to refill it! We had to do all of this! We also ordered water with our meal, but it only came after we had to ask for it twice more! Conclusion of this evening: bad and inattentive service! Enormous waiting times! Price performance is not right! Food not particularly good! We definitely won't eat there again!

Service could hardly be less friendly. I think if you don't like working you should look for something else. The salad was ordered with French sauce and delivered Italian. The taste was good but CHF 18.00 for a salad is beyond my limit. Quantities were small. But just no service. Too bad - never again.

Something I can really recommend are the desserts. My husband and I have been there for the fourth time and have tried something new every time we visit. My sisters and I use the restaurant in a contemporary way for all kinds of events - it doesn't matter whether with husband, friends or family ;-). It wasn't just the friendly staff that was a total bestseller during my visit, but also the great atmosphere. This restaurant actually has the potential to become my new regular restaurant. Bravo.

Loated on the banks of the Aare River in Bern. Indoor and outdoor seating and courteous, attentive but non pushy staff make dining or eating here a lovely experience. Stunning views and shady areas for protection when the sun gets a bit too much.

I've been here twice with the business in the summer. Despite the large group and the many special requests, we were served quickly and friendly. It was very surprising that the service staff was so on the ball with a larger group; we've experienced something different before. The food was excellent both times and no one left anything to be desired.

We had our wedding reception here, and had chosen a menu from the "La Tavolata". Food was excellent and plentiful. Location is next to the Aare. As a wedding party, the service was good - not too fast, not too slow bringing out the food. Thanks for a lovely and memorable evening.

Very nice service and good cuisine

Four of us had dinner in the garden on Saturday evening two weeks ago. It took a very long time for the food to be served. The staff also didn't manage to bring the main course to everyone at the same time. The monkfish was extremely rubbery and the sauce was totally watery. The waiter simply said that the chef was off today. In the Casa the price-performance ratio is no longer right. It's a shame, things were different a year ago. The Casa just lost four customers. It's a shame about the great location.

We were ignored for 35 minutes. The terrace was not fully occupied and other tables were not served either. Strangely enough, a friend of the waiter who sat at the table behind us was able to be served relatively quickly. When we called attention to ourselves after more than half an hour, it was waved off in a very unfriendly manner. Then we left.

Waited 20 minutes to order. Then we left again.
