I love both stores, chocolates from all over the world, and dried fruits are my current obsessions. People are nice and helpful, service tip top. Pricey but you get high value. Some of fruits are the best I've ever tasted of that type, they must have some good hidden recipes :) and they speak English if you don't speak German yet :)

I was looking for apricot vinegar and found it online. Since you can also pick up your order in the store, I went by and didn't regret it. I haven't been in such a formidable business for a long time. The interior is based on an original grocery store and you can find so many exquisite products here: various types of coffee, spices, dried fruits, sauces, confectionery and of course apricot vinegar and much more. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for an exceptional shopping experience, this store is highly recommended.

Loved the chocolate selection. Tons of vegan and lactose free options, including vegan hot chocolate! The dried fruit was very well-done, but I think I'm not crazy about dried fruit actually and would rather eat not dried fruit. Wish I lived here so I could try more of the sauces 😍

I love this old traditional shop! The large selection of dried fruits, nuts, teas, candied fruits etc is fantastic! And that special smell in the store is a wonderful addition! The service is competent and friendly!

We felt great joy during our visit to Schwarzenbach. The wide selection of special coffee, dried fruits and chocolate was overwhelming! Unfortunately we didn't have much time, but we were given very warm and informative advice and took some delicacies with us. I have to admit that I haven't eaten much chocolate so far, but I got a taste for it at Schwarzenbach on the recommendation of the very friendly staff member. Back in Berlin I've already asked how I can get supplies ;-) On my next visit to Zurich, I'll plan more time for Schwarzenbach.

I ordered online: -Delivery was very quick, and the delivery fee is also okay. -The whole thing would be packaged very small so that there wouldn't be as much waste. I also found the postcard with handwritten greetings very nice To the products: I ordered a wide range of products. - the kaffir lime leaves are really of very high quality and intense in taste. I have comparable products from other stores that were already good, but seem more like B-products - I found the Zurich fish sauce to be very salty, but really good after using it in the stew - the oils are flawless and high quality I haven't tried the other products yet, but everything looked very high quality. The customer service is very helpful. Thanks. I would recommend and definitely order again.

Many specialty grocery stores exist, but this is your best option if you're into tea, coffee, dried fruits, or chocolates! The store is roughly divided in half. Facing the building, the right half is dedicated mostly to tea and dried goods with a few other items thrown in. The left half sells specialty chocolate bars and coffee. If you're from the states you'll find those chocolate bars and other items surprisingly cheap. It's worth browsing just to see and smell the selection of this classic shopping choice. Staff is helpful and does speak English.

Just incredible choice of very special foods we did not even know existed. Wonderful smell of spices, coffee, chocolate, dried berries etc. Not particularly friendly personnel, but the experience was really special. Hot chocolate we tried in the bar was just delicious.

It has a huge selection of tea, coffee, dried fruit etc, all of the highest quality. The employees are patient and happy to advise you. I always buy gifts for friends and acquaintances here.

Often exquisite products. Unfortunately, it was unfriendly at times. Pears were full of maggots and worms. I bought 6 packs plus other products for almost 300 francs. I just wanted a refund for the bulbs and sent photos. I was told I was the only one complaining. They had cut open all the pears, that was impossible and the worms probably got into my products???!!!! I find that really cheeky. I don't buy here anymore. Customer service is something different. Sorry!

Historic and iconic venue in Zurich. This shop is divided into various sections. In one you can find dried and candied fruit, tea and spices of all kinds and from all over the world, all of excellent quality. Some windows overlook a machine where the coffee is roasted. In another place you can buy excellent coffee and tea, as well as excellent quality chocolate. The staff is friendly and very competent.

Exquisite. We always buy pepper and try something else. For example candied oranges, delicious!

A "MUST" for visitors to Zurich... It's always an experience to visit this historic institution... GREAT advice, incredibly friendly and helpful staff... Prices are a bit "high" but I think they're justified for the quality. The chocolate bar next door was surprisingly cool... What an immeasurable blessing that businesses like this still exist. Little by little I buy and enjoy the range, I keep discovering new things, I have never been disappointed and I remain loyal to many things. Anyone who wants quality for their money, who appreciates good products, but who also has high expectations has come to the right place. Admittedly, CHF 10.20, for example, for 50 grams of chocolate - here the Qantu Silk Road - is already a proud price……however…….you also get a pleasure trip that gives you precious moments in which you can relax with your eyes closed, depending on the situation Fantasy, you can let yourself be carried away and the best…….a small piece is enough. 50gr can therefore be a long journey. But also the different types of the best coffee beans, the excellent quality spices, dried fruits, nuts, tea... I still have a lot to try and I'm looking forward to it.

A nice shop with selected specialties. Only when it comes to coffee do the operators always work hard because you can't smell the ground roast. You then have to be able to decide which ground coffee you might like based on the beans (!) from “Italian roasting”, “Brazil” or “Special blend”. It's a shame and also a bit pointless.

Vintage style store with a big variety of coffee and tea. The smell of coffe invites to buy everything at once. We focused this time on tea. All the sorts we bought are very delicious and of very good quality. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. We will for sure come back.

Possibly the most magical-feeling shop in Zürich. They have the best Kakaopulver made by Felchlin, the best dried fruits, and the best single-origin chocolate selection I’ve managed to find in Switzerland.

Selected range of food and beverages (including rare ones). No self-service but very friendly and competent sales staff. The price is in the upper segment but corresponds to the quality offered. It's also worth a visit because of the interior, which is reminiscent of the old grocery stores.

My favorite food store should finally be rated! I've been getting our breakfast tea (black tea with mango blossoms) there for many years. The scents and the presentation of the goods often seduce me into making completely different purchases! So far everything has been just right for me, be it the visuals, the quality but also the very competent and friendly sales team. Even during the Covid period, things went relatively quickly without long waiting times in front of the shop. It is important to actively support such smaller businesses!

A really friendly shop, with great products, friendly staff and beautiful furnishings. Like an Italian Drogheria in Zurich! It's a shame the café no longer exists, but the chocolate shop is also something nice. The La Flor house chocolate is, without exaggeration, the best chocolate I have ever tasted!

The new “chocolate” area offers a varied choice from all over the world and the staff provides us with information with friendliness and competence. In the main store, where I appreciate the atmosphere and the quality of the products, I regret that the staff rushes us to choose and leave because of the limited number of people allowed in the store.

The location is very good and very charming place. They have very fresh coffee beans. Especially Swiss Muesli is very recommandable. The places r very tiny but if you go a bit earlier for lunch, don’t worry. There is a place for you.( Year 2020) —— January, 2021 they open for elegant hot chocolate. Super good quality. I tried bio dark hot chocolate(around chf 10) for a drink. It was very light and high quality organic chocolate. Very kind staffs. Very helpful to ask. Good place to drop by and buy chocolate

Brilliant shop. I love the subtle smells of coffee, tea, dried fruits. In addition, the service is always friendly and competent. And of course there is my favorite tea here, an Assam, Borpatra. It makes a copper-colored, strong cup.

Fantastic Coffees, including FLAVORED BLENDS! I'm an American and am used to buying all kinds of flavored blends in the States (vanilla, cinnamon, coconut, buttercream, you name it!). My Swiss husband laughed when I asked if I could find that here but one day I was searching online and came across this company. We ordered the vanilla and chocolate blends (I personally don't care for Amaretto) and I couldn't be happier. Service was prompt and prices were fair. I only wish I could buy other flavors. Wide selection of exquisite herbs and spices from around the world. Workers there are very knowledgeable and will help you choose and give Recommendations. Bought a gift for my colleague's parents and they put my selection in a very nice and beautifully wrapped Box. The wild Ethiopean black pepper was especially well received. Recommended for a nice present or to try a non-traditional flavouring.

You're looking for something you can't get anywhere else, a spice, a tea, candied fruit... Schwarzenbach has it. The service is extremely friendly, knows their stuff well, and if they don't know something, they'll do it next time - in other words, they look it up so that they can inform the customer the next time they visit (I've already experienced this a few times ). I always buy candied, but not sugared, ginger and cocoa powder here - both are incredibly tasty and I would miss them if they no longer existed.
