Very good installations. 4 different pools and a spa area. Kids will love the water slide. Adults will love the sauna area. Keep in minde the sauna needs to be bought separately. The restaurant is OK. Parking is an issue. And public transports are about a 10-minute walk.

I ordered ham and cheese toast from the restaurant today. First I had to wait about 15 minutes for the toast. Then I asked. The waitress told me..."they forgot it in the kitchen". When I looked over the cash register and into the kitchen, I was able to see firsthand how my toast was prepared without latex gloves. When turning it over, it came out of the toaster, which the kitchen assistant could only reach with outstretched hands (50 cm overhead). Then you put the toast back in the toaster. Thank you, I forego it! I'll still swim here but won't consume any more!

Large swimming pool and very pleasant wellness area

Old, resembles a small maze until you find the way to the swimming pool, but it is clearly arranged.

There are few options for privacy in the cloakrooms. The water smells like urine. The slide is good but the stairs to get up to the slide are moldy and also smell like urine.

The lifeguard says false statements and the owner agrees, even though they have no reasons. Both are xenophobic, I think, because they have and don't let anyone talk.

The indoor swimming pool is quite old and looks very old-fashioned. When I visited it was very crowded, with a lot of children screaming and playing loudly. Certainly an interesting option for a family, but not so much for individuals/couples. The sauna area is small, but quite nice.

There is a 10 meter diving tower, you can do cool flips into the water. I like jumping, it's awesome and great for young and old 😉😊

I currently swim here 3-4 times a week, alternating between Oerlikon and the indoor pool. There are certain 1 star comments from the last 12 months that are very incomprehensible to me. I find the staff to be friendly and competent. Swimming pool is relatively clean for the amount of traffic. Cabins are also as expected. Sometimes there are swimmers who don't follow the rules. They will be called and/or advised professionally. I'm enjoying my time here and I'm getting faster and faster.

Good indoor swimming pool in Zurich Altstetten! Large selection. On the weekends. and during the holidays sometimes a lot of children and teenagers - but that's normal!!!

We went to the restaurant to eat a small small vegetable soup with a piece of bread for 4.50

Water in the children's pool too cold, but the other pools were no better. Too many young people inside. Shower head defective. When showering, the water turns off every 15 seconds. Very difficult.

I would like to complain today about my visit with my pregnant wife to the Altstetten indoor swimming pool. It is incomprehensible to me why the wellness area is used by children to an extent that could be perceived as abuse. It goes without saying that children are also welcome in the wellness area, as long as they follow the house rules and use the area in such a way that other guests can remain undisturbed. I request clarification on this matter.

Clean, few people, friendly staff (visited on Monday morning)

The employees are not that nice. And you should have a little more patience. Check out the new one, she's nice. The one at the checkout told my colleague that his mother didn't raise him well and I find that very disrespectful. We fooled around too, but not enough to offend his mother. I'm 12 years old. We were there on November 26th, 2023.

On Sunday November 19th, 23 at 3 p.m. at the checkout at the main entrance there was a man at the checkout very cheeky, no respect, I stood with my wife and children and said 2 times adult, 1 time under 6 years old and 1 time over 6 years old and just miscalculated 6 tickets I spoke to him, he became very cheeky and said that he would give me my money back and I should go outside, so I've never met anyone like that. I've been going to this place for over 15 years, but he didn't recommend the whole thing to me The day was ruined. Train staff properly.

Large indoor pool for young and old

Very beautiful and well-maintained indoor swimming pool with an integrated wellness oasis. Additional warm indoor and outdoor pool. Highly recommended.

Spacious swimming pool with all-around facilities!

One can swim lengths, and it also has a wellness area and a slide. For me, there is a bit too much chlorine in the water.

Pleasant atmosphere, there were a lot of people on the weekend, but there was enough space for everyone, four pools, one of them with access to the street and hydromassages, it has warm water, they often take water for analysis and periodically treat the surfaces with something.

You're not allowed to go on the slide with two people. I don't think that's a good thing

Nice little swimming pool. Unfortunately, the swimming pool is too warm and there are other people dawdling around on the tempo track. There is no men's sauna day. Men inevitably have to sit in the sauna with women.

Great, it's a shame that Women's Day in the sauna is only on Mondays. Many women cannot walk at least once a month because of menstruation. And there are also many women who have to work on Mondays and then can't go. Many public holidays in the canton of Zurich also fall on a Monday, so there is often no women's sauna. It's a shame, I would like to go to the women's sauna more but often I can only do it once a month (mentioned above). By the way, sales would increase if one thought at least Make a women's day for 2 days.

Beautiful property in the city center. Inside heated children's pool max. deep. 1.20m, one for diving and a very large one for free swimming. There is also an area with a spa pool (i.e. with hydromassage, jets and fountains, including external ones) which, however, can only be accessed by those OVER 16, and is therefore prohibited for younger children as the water is much warmer. Inside there is also a really nice children's slide, with heated water! The outdoor area has a garden and a swimming pool with water games for children aged 0-4 and some covered tables for snacks and picnics as well as a grilling area. It's a shame that the garden is a bit small and therefore a bit crowded on hot summer days 😢 In the structure there is also a bar, restaurant and even internal tables where you can have lunches and meals brought from home 😉 Overall a really nice little place and I think we'll be back! Ps. some car parks available next to the structure. There is also a sauna and wellness area which I have not tried personally.

This swimming pool is great if you want to go to bath with a baby, as the 34°C pool is accessible to babies at particular times: * Tue/Thu from 9am till 12pm, * Wed from 2pm till 5pm, * Sa/Su from 9am till 6pm The pool is accepting the "Sportabo" of the city of Zürich.

In the wellness area there were a lot of children, including babies, with pampers in front of a play area, as the wellness area had almost no space to do a water massage!!! in the week

The swimming pool and the wellness area are very clean and well maintained. The best time to swim and relax is early in the morning, when most of the Limmat (bathing) mermaids are still asleep.

As a swimming beginner, great family indoor pool. The 25 meter swimming pool gives you the feeling that swimming distances are easier than a 50 meter swimming pool ;)

While the facility was clean, the same couldn't be said for the changing rooms. They felt a bit disorganized and could have been cleaner, which affected the overall impression of hygiene. In terms of ambiance, the lighting and decor could be updated to create a more inviting environment.

Basically very pleasant with outside and inside area, thermal pool and slide. I forgot my season subscription for the first time, so I was supposed to buy a full-price day ticket. For what am I registered in a system with a photo if this cannot be verified. Service not fulfilled. Greetings Fabian

Holiday pass not valid and that wasn't stated on the website

Went there once to swim lengths, got gastrointestinal problems and a sore throat on the same day! The water was relatively dirty, even though they had an overhaul 3 days ago! The bathroom is very old and there are quite strange people hanging around there. Never again!

There was a lot going on, a real children's paradise bravo🤸‍♀️

You can tell the age of the indoor pool, but everything is well maintained. The more modern slide is great for young and old. It was a bit cool (air) inside, water pleasant.

Wow. Great for children of all ages. The swimming island on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons is great fun.

MONDAY WELLNES DEPARTMENT WAS OPEN NOW BECAUSE ALL THE PEOPLE WENT ON HOLIDAYS IT'S WELLNES DEPARTMENT CLOSED WE ARE ALSO A CUSTOMER. It says there that it is defective but on Monday everything was ok. It is closed for 2 days. We are also customers and pay money.

With children, just what you need👍

We've also eaten better:(! The dishes weren't exactly cheap and we didn't get much for them either:(. I had a Caesar salad, for 21.-Fr, which had more lettuce than the ingredients. I had to look for the cheese and There were a few strips of chicken:(. The plate was very small;)! My friend had a sausage and cheese salad with garnish. Only there was 3/4 of the garnish and the sausage and cheese salad was only a very small part and that for almost 19.- Fr. Not to forget that we were in a swimming pool where self-service is possible.

I would say it's the second best swimming pool in the Zürich city after the hallenbad oerlikon.

The bathroom is quite spacious but absolutely overcrowded, I understand why there are no access restrictions. Changing rooms not very modern and clean

Always seem to end up here when we’re around. The facilities are wonderful for a half day with the kids (diving, swimming, water slide, plus spa during certain times). The changing and shower areas aren’t the best but the pool area is wonderful. Food is decent as well. Prefer the outdoor badi when the weather is warm but this place is year round.

Simply closed on Saturday afternoon

Please keep it open 24/7, as far as I'm concerned everyone is responsible for times without lifeguards etc., but I want to be able to go there at any time, that would be nice. As far as I'm concerned, staff could work the same hours as they currently do, no changes. Or longer, or shorter, I don't care. Then there are times without staff. So what. It would work. Give some kind of explanation for the visitors to sign regarding "swim at your own risk blah blah security privacy blah blah I accept/acknowledged that I am responsible for my own stupidity and that would have been the case anyway even without this declaration blah, night's rest blah , Etc.". Then compliance with legal nonsense is also guaranteed. Anything beyond that is not necessary, you just need the will to do it. Opening times are particularly short on weekends. In general, this indoor pool is intended more for children to learn to swim, less for adults as a sporting activity next to/after/during work, so it is often full. Reception desk generally nice, it works

It's a miracle this indoor pool is still open. Incredibly dirty and unhygienic.

Unsuitable for older children and not enough space

There are only a few lanes to swim and it can get really crowded in the evening. Recommend to swim in afternoon when possible. But overal a nice pool. :)

Nice neighborhood pool. A swimming pool, one for diving, one for children. A pretty cool slide for ages 8 and up. All for 8 francs. For 21 francs you have access to the Wellness which is great with its indoor and outdoor saunas, its hammam....well in France we keep the swimsuit in the sauna so you have to get through the psychological hurdle a little. But otherwise there is a women's day, on Monday :) The infrastructure seems to date from the 80s (I did this because of the design of the changing rooms). I like the colors and the locker systems. The staff is smiling, both at the checkout and within the swimming pool and the small restaurant. This small restaurant, with a salad buffet and basic hot dishes (knusperli, burger, fries) is great when you are with children to be able to take a break at the snack bar without having to change (one space is for people who are dressed and another for hungry swimmers). Deckchairs everywhere invite you to take your time. Oh yes also the outdoor heating pool, in the midday sun in winter it is magnificent. A beautiful neighborhood swimming pool.

The Altstetten indoor swimming pool was once a municipal school pool. Now under private ownership it has been “saved” and converted and expanded. There is a heated outdoor pool with a fairly large slide. That's why it's a very popular family pool. In any case, you can almost always hear the cheerful cheering of children as you walk past.

Lifeguards are very sneaky and disrespectful to other children. Unfortunately 0 stars are not possible therefore 1

I'm generally happy with the bathroom, but my locked bike in the bike cellar was recently stolen. The places to chain it were occupied, so it was probably carried out of the bike area. In times like these, technology needs to be upgraded. Surveillance systems don't cost that much these days. I hope something will be implemented soon.

If you’re looking to train seriously, you will have to compete with lots of kids who are playing around in the water. Especially on weekends in the afternoon they take over the pool with a floating playground which leaves only two lanes for swimming lengths.

Old indoor swimming pool, but very cheap (8CHF for adults). There is a swimming pool, diving tower, slide and wellness pool.

Old changing rooms, no shampoo etc. in the showers, floor in the wellness area was dirty, still charging 21 CHF for 3 hours, a no go

Unfortunately I can't give zero stars. UNFORTUNATELY, RS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. SERVICE AND customer friendliness catastrophic. I had to charge my cell phone at the socket for 3 minutes. Entrance and consumption of 5 people and I was very angry that something like that wasn't happening hehe. . Everyone has to know how to treat customers...

We were there on a Sunday afternoon, around 3 p.m. and there were already a lot of bathers. On the whole it was okay, the children could swim, jump from the diving board, slide and even go into the outdoor pool in the overcrowded wellness area, which was nice and warm. Wellness area with outdoor pool rather small. For me the water temperature was otherwise rather cool.

Friendly staff, but overcrowded and there is no peace and quiet in the "wellness area". It's okay for a short visit to swim some distance, but if you want to relax you've come to the wrong place.

I don't want to give any stars because you just get a fine. It doesn't say anywhere that there is a parking meter. I won't recommend anyone to go there. I pay entry for swimming and then I also have to pay for buses.

I like coming here. Swim 2-3 times a week. The only thing that bothers me is that when it says (no children are allowed in the relaxation pool), they still come in and no one says anything. But otherwise okay.
