I love the vegan burger and the service is super friendly.

I ordered a burger there 3 times and a different burger came 3 times! I call them and give them feedback and they say there is nothing they can do. Disgraceful and incompetent!

Food was ok, nothing special, nothing you could make at home. Delivery took over 1 hour, even though I waited 5 minutes. live away. Price-performance ratio ok - well. Too expensive for OK food.

Even the branch in Bern at the train station leaves a lot to be desired in terms of service. This is also the case in the Muri Gümligen branch. We had ordered food that didn't arrive for 2 hours and after several calls on the phone they blatantly lied until the beams began to bend. I will avoid this chain in the future as they seem to believe that maximizing profits trumps customer satisfaction.

We had dinner there today after going to the cinema. You sit very cramped on wooden benches covered with stained felt (pretty unappetizing!). Service is quick and friendly. Unfortunately, I have to say that I was personally extremely disappointed with the food. I chose the “Eitler Gockel” chicken burger, which was a total failure. The inedible dead fried, extremely dry, wafer-thin slice of chicken breast (approx. 90g) could definitely not be bitten into and could only be cut with a knife with great effort. Clearly it wasn't freshly prepared, but had probably been fried around midday. Otherwise you wouldn't get it that dry and it was cold too. Quite a disgrace for this price! I wouldn't recommend it!

Excellent juicy hamburger! Fries in a new way, big, crispy and good, with a nice dip! Unfortunately the arugula was sloppy and even had rotten parts! That must not be! I love arugula and would have been happy to eat it. Nevertheless, I'll come again!

The service was very friendly and good, the burger was cold, the bacon was raw, and the cheese wasn't melted due to the lack of heat. The window outside says burger grill so the quality should be much better.

Our team dinner should have been close to the venue where we wanted to have some bowling time. The best choice was of course the restaurant next door, Hans im Glück. This place is really different from most restaurants you'd probably find in Switzerland. The interior is like a forest, where you can see an undefined number of trees. The food is more on the burger side but exceptionally delicious. The service is great but due to the fact that it is a well-visited place we had to be a bit patient, which was okay. The washrooms were also a bit interesting. All in all it was a great experience and I'd like to visit this place soon again. Oh by the way, it is a children's friendly place.

We were here this afternoon and were extremely positively surprised. The burgers are great and at a very fair price (lunch menu). The service was very friendly, but a little overwhelmed with the rush of people.

We ordered 4 people at 7:45 p.m., 3 drinks arrived at 8:01 p.m., and the 4th drink arrived at 8:19 p.m. We spoke to the staff and they responded cheekily!!! Then we ate, sat for over 20 minutes in front of the plates and then I went to the toilet and asked the staff to please clear the plates! It then took another 7 minutes. The person who cleared cleaned all the tables next to us and had to be told, she didn't come up with the idea of ​​clearing herself!!! Nobody asked is the food good, unfortunately it wasn't even average food! For this price I expect a different service and quality of food!!! Look how they are dressed!!! I can stay at home too!!

The burger for 14.90 wasn't worth the money. Dry and boring. The size of the portion of fries is rather small. I would have been better served by the price/performance at BK.... The service was nice, but she could have been a little more attentive. The ambience is good.

The restaurant "Hans im Glück" is quite okay for people who like unusual burgers. The burgers are pretty good, especially because of the special ingredients like sweet potatoes, which are sometimes a bit burnt but still taste interesting. The atmosphere in “Hans im Glück” is pleasant and something different compared to normal burger shops. The atmosphere is very cozy. However, there are small weaknesses in the service. The staff is always friendly, but not always as attentive, which sometimes leads to waiting times. But this is offset by the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. Overall, "Hans im Glück" is okay for a burger meal, even if the service could sometimes be better. But the burgers make up for it.

We were with you today (Wednesday, December 13th, 2023) and ordered a snack. Unfortunately the fries were cold, so we returned the order. We then received a new portion with perfect fries. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back. We wish you a nice Christmas time.

There were 4 of us there with our dog. He was given a bowl of water and we were pampered like in the land of milk and honey. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing. I can only recommend. Thank you very much🫶🏻

Great experience, come back soon! Extremely interesting selection of ingredients for burgers and co. The highlight was the salad, with sprouts and really fresh and cheerfully put together. Ingredients can be selected for all dishes - extremely suitable if you have allergies and intolerances. Nice staff, very good, transparent advice.

A typical Hans-im-Glück restaurant as we know it from Germany! - Unfortunately, some of the service staff are a bit leisurely, but perhaps this is also due to the legendary Bernese coziness (... ;-)). The food tastes great, but the portion sizes are a bit poor - the portion of fries in particular could easily be twice as big (especially when you consider that that would definitely not be a cost driver)! The drinks taste just as good and are convincing; The in-house 'thirst quenchers' in particular are delicious! There's even a coffee/espresso with the lunch menu - you can't and don't want to complain but rather praise it! We recommend the restaurant!

In the Birkenwald you get good burgers, with exciting drinks from friendly service. The dog was also welcome. Since it's busy and a bit tight, it's best to make a reservation. We had a seat on the edge and so it was a cozy evening.

It was our first time eating hamburgers here. Basically the burger was fine, but unfortunately it was almost cold after it was served. The fries were very good and coarsely cut, which I like very much. The 4 sauces are delicious and there are enough on every table. We followed the menu and finally ordered the hot drink included on the menu. It felt like they were skimping on coffee and chocolate. Because the taste of it didn't live up to the name of our order. A pity. The tables and chairs are too close together for me, but the furnishings are very original and harmonious. The service was very friendly and attentive. Price performance rather upper limit.

Good burgers, but they gave their price

I was there twice within 4 days. We enjoyed the food very much. The service was friendly. Unfortunately at the end we had to wait a long time for the bill and the waitress didn't clear our table. There wasn't a lot of customers and yet not a single waiter or waitress walked past.

The bread was dry, the meat was burnt and the fries were tasteless! A real disappointment. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, we had to wait forever to order, eat and pay! The only positive thing is the ambience.

We were escorted to the table 1:45 hours before the film, we tried to order for a good 40 minutes, it wasn't even half full - the service didn't have a handle on who had been waiting for a long time and who had just sat down. Then finally order, the kitchen only takes a good 10 minutes for drinks, 1 of 2 burgers and fries, the second burger is missing, but it would come. 10 minutes before the film: Burger 2 still not there, when asked again and informed that the film was starting, it was brought immediately after it became completely dry and tough under the heat lamp. Still no apology or anything like that. Since I had to choke it down within 4 minutes, it also sat across my stomach for the entire 3 hours of Oppenheimer. The food is ok. A "fast food" shop that doesn't offer enough wages to have staff experienced and motivated enough to maintain such low standards should not be supported, especially not when it comes to prices; what a joke.

The food was really tasty, super friendly and courteous service. Unfortunately the atmosphere wasn't 100% perfect, the tables are quite close together... But otherwise another recommendation.

If you love burgers you should definitely go there. It's also a great combination option for going to the cinema. We recommend.

The burger was dry, the patty was cooked to death! My statement to the waiter didn't surprise him and he told us that they had a lot of new employees at the moment. Yesterday we waited 40 minutes just for French fries, which on the one hand were lukewarm and on the other hand the sweet potatoes were more burnt than edible. An hour after ordering, still no food. We then stopped the exercise. The staff seemed to be trying hard, but unfortunately we didn't get enough of it either. Too bad, too bad, we'll probably avoid HiG in the future.

After an hour of waiting and several hints that we would get the food as soon as possible, we just watched as everyone else who ordered after us got their food. We had reserved and so something like this simply shouldn't happen. After over an hour we asked for the bill and left with nothing in our stomachs, very disappointed. We weren't even given a drink as compensation. I'm very disappointed. As excited as I was before about the rooster in happiness, I'm just as disappointed now.

The restaurant is recommended, very good burger dishes, also vegetarian. Special ambience with the many tree trunks in the interior. I go there about once a month, even though it's a 45 minute journey.

First they messed up our reservation. The usher's reaction was very unfriendly. No apology nothing. We then left the restaurant after 25 minutes without being served.

Very tasty burgers, we have recently started eating vegetarian and vegan, so we like to visit Hans im Glück in various places. Always the same positive experience. You know it and like to go there again. I was even able to grow a small thyme plant from a thyme sprig from a drink.

We took it back and got a new one but even then we waited at least 30 minutes for it to come and surprise, the burger was very cold and there was even one of the wrong ones, something like that is cheeky and that was the last time I'll visit this restaurant. I went to “Hans im Glück” with my daughters. Visually, I like the concept and presentation! For me, the space in the seating area is insufficient. I felt a little like a laying hen in the battery! The menu looks very interesting and I actually expected more than what I received, not in quantity but in quality. It was better than in the fast food restaurant, but still not up to the good burger restaurants! The drinks were quite nicely made, but unfortunately the “cheap” gin spoiled the enjoyment of mine! A pity! The highlight for me was the dessert! That was really delicious!
