Happy Days Diner in Nyon

A magical place steeped in fifties US culture! We are immersed in the series from our childhood and the decoration is realistic and tasteful. The meat on the burgers was a little overcooked, but this is the first time for me.

Lovely cozy diner with friendly staff. Good burgers, also gluten free available, even for celiacs! Unfortunately the fries are not - if you could improve this by preparing them in a separate fryer it would be fantastic ♥️

Total immersion in deep America, you could imagine yourself on the road, somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico. Attentive and friendly service, food cooked with attention. The decor is great!

3 hours after the events, I have not yet understood or digested the fact that we could have had such little understanding and empathy... Today at 1:30 p.m., rainy day, I, a nurse having to go to a patient's home in the same building, with my equipment and pregnant up to my eyes, I politely presented myself at the restaurant to ask them if they They allowed me to park in one of their parking spaces for 1 hour, while I visited my patient, due to not being able to find a visitor space available in the area. The restaurant would close 30 minutes later and none of their many seats were taken. Suffice to say that I was in no way going to disrupt their business... As soon as I walked through the door and without even opening my mouth, I felt that I was not welcome. I therefore believe that their sense of welcome is not American... My mistake was to come and ask permission to park; I will learn to do like everyone else and be less well behaved since this value no longer seems to mean much in today's world... In short, I wish you a more pleasant visit than mine to these places. Also, I will not fail to curse you every time I pass your establishment, dear restaurateur. ---- My opinion concerns the reception, and not the parking itself. And the welcome begins, in my opinion, as soon as a potential customer arrives, whatever their request. A pleasant hello and a proper farewell seem to me to be the minimum when you run an establishment. I'm sorry to have to tell you that you were very unpleasant. You could also have explained to me what you are explaining in this post, rather than telling me that "everyone has a good excuse" and telling me flatly no. I have no pleasure in writing this negative comment to you, I would have much preferred to be able to say that you were a very good businessman as well as a gentleman. You were indeed on your remaining half hour of service, but in a restaurant whose tables seemed sadly empty to me. To apologize, I'm going to imagine that you had a very busy and stressful lunch shift, and that I caught you off guard when you were tired. I wish you for this new year to acquire sharper skills in human relations and leave you all the same with my greetings.

I was looking for a place in the area to eat the best burgers with my two teenagers, and the reviews convinced me to take them here. We were not disappointed! The setting and decor are incredible, large selection of burgers and fries, and everything was delicious! It's very generous, the beef is from the region and super good, there are also burgers with Swiss bison meat, and chicken and even vegetarian burgers. The fries were so much better than those usually served, I don't know if they were homemade but they looked and tasted like it, at least not frozen! The Speculoos cheesecake is killer, I recommend it, and there are unusual drinks like Dr. Pepper and Cherry or Vanilla Coke, to the delight of my teenagers! The gentleman who served us was very friendly, the service was fast, the prices correct, in short we will come back with pleasure and I recommend Happy Days! With Johnny Cash in the background, honestly everything was perfect...😇

Very friendly place. Excellent quality burgers and impeccable customer service. Following a mishap with Uber Eats, the restaurant offered us a portion of fries to apologize for the inconvenience even though it was not at fault. THANKS

I had a very tasty gluten free burger with fries and a strawberry milkshake. The hostess is charming and we immediately felt at home. Even with celiac disease, I felt in good hands and safe. We recommend!

I tried this type of restaurant in Geneva and Nyon. In Geneva at least they don't lie about the merchandise. Let's be clear. It's medium. The bison in the bison burger has to be looked for. Sauces: ketchup or ketchup? Or maybe ketchup?... in short, no innovation, not great. Without forgetting the bill: a fries, a stik of mozzarella, 2 burgers, 2 drinks: 80.--?! Want a good burger? Go to the brewer in Nyon or the FMR in Geneva.

A true American diner! With the beautiful decoration that defines this genre. We were very, very well received. The food was very good and the dishes were plentiful. The milkshakes are a must try at all costs, they have the right consistency, word of a gourmand :-) Thank you very much for the welcome which was just as excellent as the first time and see you next time!

Restaurant really resembling an American diner, very comfortable seats, fantastic music, on-point decor, brilliant service (with a smile, good advice) and excellent food at reasonable prices. The bison burgers were delicious and I recommend anyone with a sweet tooth to try the “Deep fried oreo” dessert! Their lunches look equally fantastic, not to be missed!

Really not good = I'm not talking about portion, I'm just saying that your food is fatty, too heavy and not good in my eyes and those of my boyfriend who is of the same opinion. Oh okay because now we also have to note the decor, the atmosphere and the service???? Well no, I didn't like anything so much that my dish was greasy and not good to my taste, I couldn't pay attention to the rest. I don't go to a restaurant for its decor or atmosphere. This is not dishonesty, but on the other hand it becomes dishonest when you have difficulty receiving criticism. You don't have many bad ratings compared to what I hear from word of mouth about your dishes and which go in my direction: TOO FAT, TOO HEAVY and NOT GOOD so be happy that people are rather discreet about what they think.

Very welcoming staff, but informs us differently between each server of what meat they have available. This is the only point for improvement in the restaurant! Stay informed! 😇😘 The burgers are delicious and of course, I will come back to taste something from the mouth-watering lunch menu! Happy New Year to the whole team!

American atmosphere! The menus are typical USA...burgers pancakes cheesecakes. The burger and sweet potato fries are excellent! The welcome is very friendly! I recommend!

If you like pancakes etc the ones here are great. You do need to book a table unless you arrive at opening time.

Really super nice restaurant lovingly decorated in 60s USA style. My kids love it. It feels like home. The hamburgers are terrible, much better than fast food. I love trying to put a name to the portraits of the movie actors whose photos are displayed on the walls. I went back today, and I loved the Italian hamburger, very generous with buffalo mozarella. My colleagues made another choice and they were just as satisfied as I was. The fries are excellent.

Superb place and the 3 waitresses are excellent, our friends didn't like the overcooked bacon😋🥓 and we had several pieces of undercooked bacon, it was perfect. Top breakfast and delicious burgers. 🍔 Taste their Milkshake, you will enjoy it.🥤

Best burger place in Nyon. Amazing aesthetic and design, very nice staff, and of course terrific food. Tip: If you’re going as a group, DON’T order individual fry portions for everybody. Both the fries and the portions are MASSIVE and DELICIOUS and you will be much better off sharing one or two.

Poor quality meat. Response to manager: The assessment concerns your food truck and therefore does not take into account a restaurant atmosphere. The meat may have come from a renowned butcher's shop, but the fact remains that it was equipped with rubbery and tasteless elements (seasoning). Don't worry, I'm not in competition and your reaction gives some hope. biloh.

Great discovery. An American-style dinner restaurant with multiple US decorations. A large selection of Burgers and a large selection of sites. On Sunday there is also a brunch. I just regret that it is only available until noon. Lovers of the United States go ahead. I advise.

We were not quite sure what to expect but the diner is fun. Great ambiance and really friendly staff. Housemade guacamole was fantastic as were fries and the chocolate milkshake. We will be back

Great discovery for this little fast-food restaurant from the 60s. The setting and atmosphere transport you to another time that you regret not having known. We had a cheeseburger with caramelized onions, and it was excellent! The side fries were crispy and not too greasy. The waitress was very nice, even a little cheeky, in short ultimately in keeping with the decor. Continue to make us dream 👌

I loved the atmosphere and the setting, more than faithful to American diners. The caramelized onion burger was a pure delight as the meat was cooked to perfection and the onions were sweet without being cloying. The salad was fresh and the cheese melted to perfection. A very good experience that I look forward to repeating, especially since the service is impeccable because it is helpful and discreet.

Very accommodating staff. Very American style restaurant. We had breakfast there and surely we will go back again. The food was great! I had bacon, pancake, eggs, cappuccino, and orange juice. During weekends, make sure to book a table as they are always full. Superb!

5 stars for the service. The girls there were amazingly nice, welcoming and sincerely kind. The decorations and ambiance was great. Apart from the French toasts, the food was generally good. The pancakes were fluffy and light, the crêpes were good, the hash brown was tasty. The French toasts were a little let down, they were just flat. The quantity of food was very generous. A great place for brunch. We will try the burgers next time.
