Hecht in Pfäffikon

Finally we had time to have lunch at the Hecht again. It was wonderful 🥰. Very good and tasty cuisine. I rarely give a thank you to the kitchen, but it was a pleasure to dine here. We had reserved, only here we would have expected a nice table with a reservation. But the service and the attention were also just really pleasant. You feel comfortable here, you have to experience it for yourself. Thanks to the Hecht team!

It's nice to receive top friendly service again. The food was great and the restaurant with the rustic wood was very cozy! We'd love to come back.

One of the best customer service ever! We arrived a bit late, the kitchen has just closed. The manager reopened the kitchen for us! We enjoyed a good meal. I was positively surprised by the cucumber “sorbetto”.

Steak was still bleu is sold expensively and marketed on an 800 degree grill but you don't notice any difference and if the cooking level is completely wrong, you have to wait 15 minutes while the family is eating... and unfortunately the service was not friendly, for the price there is better Swiss restaurants

Incredibly good cuisine! Meat top, as ordered. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even “special requests” or changes to the menu are no problem. Cozy, quiet atmosphere and a great location with parking spaces. We are happy to have found this restaurant near us and now come back more often! Thank you

We would have liked to drink some wine. But we found 40 Fr for 5dl to be too expensive. It's a shame there is no inexpensive offer.

Since the renovation it is very welcoming inside and the garden is shady and pleasant. The food is excellent, especially the fish dishes, without being overpriced. Friendly service and a great location. For my taste one of the best addresses in Pfäffikon.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was super delicious on all my visits. The garden restaurant is very inviting in summer.

On the way through Pfäffikon I stopped at the Hecht restaurant, which is an inviting garden restaurant with lots of shade from the many trees. I ordered the pike perch with risotto and grilled vegetables, which tasted excellent and was prepared with great attention to detail. The likeable young chef then asked me personally whether everything was OK. The only suggestion for improvement is that the chairs are not very comfortable and not particularly stylish either. All in all a very good restaurant, I'll be back.

Nice garden restaurant. Food is too expensive for what comes and could use some garnish or vegetables. Leberli or veal slices are bland and have rather small portions for the price. Service staff tries hard. Has room for improvement.

Unfortunately zero stars are not possible. We wanted to reserve a table, but the lady on the phone was very unfriendly and unprofessional right from the start. We wanted to make a reservation for 10 people and didn't know much about the region. The woman on the phone said we should try McDonalds. It's a real shame that we live in a world where people can no longer communicate normally...I've never experienced anything so rude!

The food was fine. Unfortunately, the waitress was very unfriendly, made inappropriate jokes, insisted that my brother try the wine (he ordered it, she said) and she didn't know what spent grain was. The waiting time between courses was also very long. The serving daughter said she was all alone and no one was helping her. My conclusion: the food was very tasty. Unfortunately the service wasn't good.

There was a misunderstanding beforehand, but they were very accommodating! Even when we got there early, the service started immediately without any ifs and buts. Very, very, very friendly staff who do their job with passion 😀. As a guest you feel welcome and comfortable here. The food tasted excellent, everything was freshly made. All 14 people were full and satisfied. The children got their food first (with the adult starters). The special meal (gluten-free) for two people was also addressed perfectly. We were all really very satisfied. The restaurant is highly recommended!

Cozy restaurant, varied and very good cuisine.

Until yesterday I ate out a total of 5 times, 2 x at lunchtime and 3 x on Sunday evening. Three times I got what I didn't order (avocado-smoked salmon instead of prawns with cocktail sauce, avocado and venison entrecôte instead of beef entrecôte), unfortunately the service is largely unqualified.....

We went to the restaurant for dinner last night. Reservation by phone worked without any problems. We took a seat in the garden. Drinks or food ordering ok. The water was served promptly. Unfortunately the wine was forgotten and we had to ask twice. We had to wait over an hour for the main course. Good quality food (veal liver, hash browns). The restaurant left us with a mixed impression: friendly but inattentive service, delicious main course.

After a beautiful day we wanted to go out for something to eat here in beautiful Pfäffikon. The Hecht looked good like a traditional Swiss restaurant. Unfortunately, we were greeted very coldly and unfriendly when we entered the outside area. It took over half an hour just for the salad to arrive. Meanwhile, other guests who came after us were already receiving food like a cordon bleu. After waiting for over an hour, the food finally came. Unfortunately we had already missed dessert. We then asked for the bill. Even for this we had to wait over 15 minutes. We had informed the staff several times that we finally wanted to pay and leave. This pointed at us and blasphemed about us in Eastern European languages. Is this how you treat customers? At least the food tasted good. But because of the unfriendly service, I'm unfortunately only sticking with one star. It's a shame about what used to be such a good restaurant.

We wanted to have an Aperol today, saw the menu and wanted to eat something. There were more than 6 tables available as it was 4pm. The tables were supposedly all reserved, so we should sit in the smoking corner under a roof in the bright sunshine. The service seemed uncompromising, so we decided to go. Another restaurant was happy about good guests. Corona doesn't seem to have left any traces here.

Pretty location with nice outdoor seating. The food was rather expensive for ZH Oberland, but also very, very good. The service was friendly and you could order quickly. The food was delivered very quickly and yet freshly prepared. We'd love to come back!

Totally unfriendly service staff. Ugly - NEVER AGAIN. The brewery restaurant opposite is the complete opposite. No wonder that the garden restaurant is full, in contrast to the Hecht where there were only 2 people!!!

Coupe Denmark with 2 balls in a small glass bowl for Fr. 10.50. My children, who had ordered two scoops of ice cream, had the same size portion in the same glass as me for Fr. 7.60. So you couldn't tell any difference. Something couldn't be right here. Maybe the younger waitress, who speaks high German, misunderstood something, I thought. When she then asked if everything was OK, I told her no, I found the Coupe Denmark much too small. That was just 2 balls in a cup. In Switzerland we are used to a Coupe Denmark being a bit larger (just a Coupe). You also usually get a chocolate sauce with the Coupe Denmark. Then she became unfriendly, took it personally and said loudly alongside all the other guests that the chocolate and the almond slivers also cost something, right! I should complain to management! Then turned around and disappeared. When we wanted to pay, she simply ignored us. We had to ask another server to do it. As a former event manager for many years, I can give the following advice: take criticism from guests seriously, always remain friendly, don't get personal and improve things - if possible. Since the pike is not exactly cheap, it would certainly be appropriate to hire qualified and trained service personnel; this is a waste of money. We will eat our ice cream somewhere else in the future.

Good food and beautiful garden restaurant

Sole was rubbery and dripping with fat and asparagus was wooden and almost raw... and all for a whopping Fr. 45.50! That was really a bitter disappointment!

Very fine food and attentive and friendly service. With an inviting garden restaurant part. And this is barely 300m walking distance from the phenomenal nature reserve of Lake Pfäffikersee. The ideal address for a stop before or after spending time in beautiful nature.

We were there for the first time with friends. The service, the food and the ambience were excellent and the price was within the norm. If it came to that, we would choose the pike again. Another thing I would like to mention is the teaming of the kitchen, all of the different dishes were served at the same time. All in all a wonderful lunch, our friends loved it.

There were four of us eating. The food was good. Unfortunately the red wine was much too cold. Paying 6.50 Fr for half a liter of mineral water is simply too expensive. The serving staff was friendly

We were at the Gasthof Hecht specifically for dinner to discuss the upcoming meal with a group of almost 20 people, to view the rooms and discuss the table arrangements. When we arrived at the Gasthof Hecht with all our guests, we were shocked to discover that we had to have lunch in a place that had never been discussed and that we did not find the table arrangement that had been discussed. The Hecht Inn was also unable to provide us with the children's chairs that had been promised to us in advance. The employee with whom we discussed everything told us that the boss had decided this and that she was shocked when she entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, this was done without any information for the guests. When we reported our dissatisfaction to the boss, it was argued that you simply couldn't find any staff at the moment. She told us on site that she would think about the bill. A few days later we received an email saying that the service from Gasthof Hecht had been provided and the entire amount was due. There was no apology/regret or anything like that. The Gasthof Hecht did not listen to our repeated requests for an agreement discussion; on the contrary, we were threatened with taking legal action if we did not pay.

Wonderful restaurant, lovely exterior and interior. Has some parking in front. This restaurant also has a lovely patio just to the side. The staff were extremely friendly. They went out of their way for our group to have a good time. The food was really good. We had the fries and an apple strudel with sauce. The fries/chips/frites had a wonderful seasoning on them. The apple strudel was the best I've had. The apples were tasty, sweet but not mushy nor slimy nor too tart. The strudel was light not dry but not mushy either. The sauce was a delicious vanilla sauce and had a big dollop of whipped cream

The older gentleman turns away!!! he actually had no desire to assign us a seat. What kind of service is that? That has nothing to do with hospitality! We spontaneously went to the Hecht and decided to grab something to eat. The service was very personable and friendly. The dishes tasted very good and the desserts were delicious too! We will definitely be back and can recommend this experience to everyone!
