We reserved online for the second time and the reservation confirmation arrived promptly. However, there was never a table ready for us on site for either reservation. The food didn't blow us away either. Fitness plate, the salad was carelessly piled on top of each other, chicken wasn't the same either and was very small. The service, well...

Very good and hearty Swiss cuisine at fair prices. On Tuesdays there is always schnitzel with side dishes for 20Fr. As always, we ate very well and were served very friendly. Although the reservation via the internet didn't work, we still got the last free table. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, we received our menus very quickly. We had Cordon Bleu Sonne and other meat dishes.

Great conditions and really good food

The salad is wonderful. Nicely garnished with top French sauce. Schnitzel fantastic. Friendliness of the staff with room for improvement and cleanliness on the table. Otherwise quite good.

Driven by often and recently finally been able to stop in. We were looking forward to the game menu and the food, but we had to wait an extremely long time. At the table at the back the waiter apologized, he walked past us and said in a way that was "accidental": Your food will be coming soon, just don't panic! I've never heard anything like that anywhere before if it took a little longer. (Nowhere did we have to wait AS long as in the sun in Auslikon). Conclusion: Unfortunately, we didn't feel very welcome or well looked after.

It was a very successful evening. Pleasant conversation with Mr. Schmid who served us courteously. The food was fantastic. Waiting time very short. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Come again. 🤗

Unfortunately a very negative experience! Waiting time for the food was well over an hour. Some of the food was inedible. In response to the friendly complaint, the chef said: Hundreds of other guests were always satisfied! So it can't be that it's the food! The food really overpriced compared to the quality! Unfortunately, quantity is not quality! The not very friendly service topped the evening!

We were out in the sun on 4/4/22 and had a lovely evening with friends. Service tip top, the wine recommendation was spot on, the menu was very good. Soon again. See you soon in the sun. On January 21st, 2023 we are back in the sun, with friends, new tenants have taken over, the start was very good, everything worked and the food tasted good. Yes it's going well, no it's GOOD.

Yesterday we spontaneously stopped in the sun. The service staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The selection of dishes is extensive and on Sundays there is always hot food. Unfortunately I have to make deductions because of my food. With the Stoganoff, the pieces of meat were fried far too hard and unfortunately the pepperoni was partially burned, which led to a bitter taste in the sauce.

Had a delicious meal yesterday, service incredibly fast and friendly! We recommend!

We ate as a family at the Sonne restaurant on Sunday evening, June 5th, 2022. As a former event manager for many years, I have seen and experienced a lot. I rarely rate a restaurant, but I just have to give this one 5 stars! You are greeted warmly (even held the door open), served courteously and you really get a good meal at a fair price. The portions are sufficient and even slightly larger, so no one leaves the restaurant hungry anymore. The team is friendly and organized across the board, and this is certainly due to the good and experienced leadership. Keep it up, we will definitely come back.
