What is it that excites? The charm comes from the family atmosphere. It is the successful combination of a well-positioned service/store team and first-class enjoyment from the bread shelf and the Pastry shop display case. Just great.

There was a lot of hot chocolate, but it's just 1 seed. It's time to eat a cheap meal and I'm going to have a good time. Heohyo If you had told me in advance, I would have understood. Ta-ja-kko-jja, I chased you out and it was all about talent. If you're just going to stay in your 30s, don't worry.

Motivated, friendly and committed employees in the branch at the Löwencenter. Cozy environment. In summer, the sunny outdoor area is particularly inviting to linger. Four different newspapers (Blick, Luzerner Zeitung, Tagi and NZZ). Delicious lunch menus and a large selection of snacks and cakes in the store. Also a wide selection of different breads. Even when I run out of ideas for dinner, I can always find something quick here. I always enjoy being a guest. With that in mind, thank you very much and keep it up! :-)

I had a fantastic time at Kaffee Heini at Löwenplatz. The service was excellent, the branch manager, Mr. Nick, was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The atmosphere was overall pleasant, although the ambience was a bit old. The seating is too narrow. Nevertheless, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives and I can highly recommend a visit.

My favorite place to go is Café Heini on Löwenplatz. For 23 years. The people behind the scenes are like family. The products, for me gluten-free and the cappuccino, the Coupe Romanoff, the Rägetröpfli, - hmmmmmmmm. Go there, experience and enjoy.

The daily fresh offer of cakes, deliciously fragrant bread and pastries immediately catches your nose and tempts you to try something directly in the spacious cafe. My breakfast left hardly anything to be desired. Thanks to a clear menu, you can easily put together your culinary stay. And the friendly service team always remains friendly and accommodating despite stress and a lot of customers. Definitely worth a visit. Even if it's just for a little coffee.

Had this delicious tarte(pie?) twice in the same day at two different Heini outlets in Lucerne. We were visiting the city. The staff were very busy but efficient and we felt welcomed. At the outlet near UBS, we wanted to buy only dark chocolates and the lady in charge took the trouble to repackage a box of wholly dark chocolates for us. What’s not to like ?

Heini is known and appreciated, but I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the employees, especially the deputy operations manager and the dark-skinned lady. We will come again and enjoy the hospitality and products 😊

Disaster. We ordered two coffees (quite expensive), which they put in a paper cup. Without thinking about it, we are going to sit at the tables inside. The boss comes and tells us that we can't drink paper cup coffee there, that we should have sat down and ordered there and that they bring it in a cup. We ask them if they can change the container, that is, transfer it from the glass to the cup, they tell us no, that we can return the coffee, they give us the money back and we can order again. All this in an unfriendly way and in front of everyone… What a shame…

The coffee and the food from the Heini confectionery are very good. The restaurant is somewhat reminiscent of a waiting room but fulfilled all our wishes. Good for a quick stop during a city tour.

Disaster, for the third time in a week we had to wait over 30 minutes just to order. If it's expensive then the service needs to be a little better. And today we tried again but it was the same, then we got up and went to the Coop Restaurant.

It is close to the dying lion statue. Takeout is available, and you can select and pay at the store. However, if you want to eat at an outdoor table, you must order from the person in charge of outdoor orders.

The food was very good, the service was very nice and attentive. I found the prices too high.

Absolute disaster. Was here two months ago and then had a bad experience with complaining and arguing staff. Today the experience was with absolutely unfriendly staff. The gentleman was apparently completely overwhelmed and apparently had no desire at all... It's a shame that it's no longer what it used to be. I will avoid the restaurant until further notice and cannot recommend it under any circumstances.

I buy gupfeli or sandwiches and coffee for breakfast every day for more than 10 francs and don't even have to sit down... Rude and ungrateful business. The products are okay but I will still look for a new place to have breakfast

I love the Heini confectionery chain. Cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food! I advise you to find half an hour to visit these establishments!

The tower for 2 is recommended as a shared dish. Comes with coffee or tea. Great for a slow morning breakfast.

Rude and incompetent staff. The hot chocolate served in the take-away cup was boiling hot and burnt my tongue. When I gave a feedback about the issue so that the next customer won’t suffer the same, I received the following reply: “It’s the machine, we can’t do anything about it”. Does this mean it’s okay to burn people’s tongues because of a defective machine? (PS: the coffee ordered by my friend was perfectly fine, only the Hot chocolate was extremely hot)

I just went there for a coffee with a friend, yet the waitress couldn't remember my order. No worries, it's a lovely place, clean, friendly and can be quite busy, a bit out of my price, yet I always say that if the bathrooms are clean and maintained, the kitchen should be the same.

You wait far too long for a coffee and a cold chocolate! Unfriendly staff, you can tell they don't want to work.

The cappuccino wasn't what it should be, for 5.70 with only water If there's milk in it, it's a shame to even call it cappuccino.

Coffee and hot chocolate were too thin/watery. The waiter admitted that they had problems with the machine and brought us new drinks, which, however, were not satisfactory either. You have to pay for sweets from the display separately. It is not possible to pay for this consumption together with the drink in the restaurant!

Unfortunately, coffee is no longer as good as we were used to... And the price surcharge is not justified... It's a shame

Had their chocolate cake on a ferry and absolutely loved it. Came back to their outlet to try their other cakes (the one with 14% alcohol & another that tastes like ladyfinger biscuit with strawberry and cream)- they’re not bad either. Would try the other cakes and pastries if I had the chance!

Heini should stop by where Bachmann makes ice cream. What Heini sells as ice cream is simply a disgrace, and at this price too.

Was here today with my husband, 11.30am. Unbelievable: Cafe was full: table to table was very close together, customers almost had to sit on each other's laps. Tables not cleared and dirty. Staff not exactly friendly, stressed and had hardly any space to serve. We went outside to have a coffee. We ordered inside and were told they would be coming soon. All the tables outside were dirty and dishes from the previous person🤢 shortly before we decided to leave again (because we had to wait so long) the coffee came. Never again.

A good selection of cakes for Switzerland. However, the staff swarming out to clean 45 minutes before closing time on Saturday is very unpleasant! Something like that seems extremely uncomfortable and disturbing!

I was there yesterday, January 8th, 2022, and first I was allowed outside for 30 minutes Waiting for condition, I went in twice after that and let them know if someone was coming out to serve, every time they said yes. although there were enough employees there and chatting with each other. Absolutely not friendly and I think that's a shame, as long as I don't understand that every customer loses them and it hurts their jobs

As early as 1745, the chairs were slammed onto the tables and it was made clear in words that were difficult to understand that you were not (anymore?) welcome as a coffee guest. Well, then don't.

Stressed and annoyed staff and completely overpriced prices. Pizza tart with salad - just under 1/8 piece, hardly any toppings 14.-- For this price you get a whole pizza!!!! The salad was generous - but the menu was called pizza loaf with salad and not salad with a bit of pizza.... Never again - really a rip off...

Ordered: latte with lactose-free milk. Get: Latte with soy milk. After we pointed this out to the waitress, we received the slightly annoyed answer that soy milk was lactose-free! I imagine customer-friendly conditions differently.

During our z'Vieri we were regularly harassed and disturbed by a pigeon (bird) in the restaurant. It doesn't work at all!!! Black Forest cake was also relatively lean.

Good in itself, but totally overpriced! I've never spent $50 on a simple breakfast for two people. I was really shocked when I saw the prices.

Eigentlich wollten wir vorgängig für 5 Personen reservieren. Geht leider nicht aber dennoch haben wir Platz gefunden. Zum Frühstück bestellten wir "Heini's Zmorgenturm" mit Brot, Buttergipfel, Schinken, Salami und Käse sowie ein Birchenmüsli. Zum Trinken Café - Tee oder Schokolade. Insgesamt Fr. 26.50.- Preis ok aber für mich viel zu viel. Ich habe nur die Hälfte gegessen. Tipp: Eine Portion für Zwei! Personal sehr freundlich und aufgestellt.

Wir waren gestern zum Mittagessen hier und das war perfekt. Das Personal war großartig, gutes Essen.Kam heute zurück, die Kellnerin an den Tischen draußen ist absolut unhöflich.Ich habe gestern mit Kreditkarte bezahlt, als ich sie heute bat, mit Kreditkarte zu bezahlen, stieß sie den lautesten Seufzer aus und verschwand einfach.Ich habe 15 Minuten gewartet und immer noch gewartet.

Après une visite des remparts nous voulions faire une pose déjeuner rapide.Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce salon thé .Très joli cadre, les tartes salées et sucrées sont très bonnes et pour un prix correct (en Suisse)Bref rien rien à redire sauf l’accueil, pas une des serveuses pour rattraper l’autre on avait vraiment l’impression de les ennuyer (mais bon il était un peu tard...)
