Pattas Bravas could have come with a side of aiolii, but they brought it fast on request. Really nice off the map and away from crowds place. Michelin potential here.

I loved my meal at the Castellan. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and had such a great flavor profile. They have a great menu with many dishes to choose from: chicken, potatoes, ratatouille, octopus and what not. The food is tasty and diverse and not at all boring like most restaurants. Things lacked flavor, portion, and poorly listed (maybe this was an English menu translation issue?). “Cake” = “pie”, “rack of lamb” = “three micro ribs,” and “salad”= “three small spears.” We’re all for right portioned food, but at these prices, Lucerne, Salzburg, Venice, and even Bern are cheaper. Also, our rockstar server was basically the only one working. For 300+CHF, hire another employee.

Beide Male sind wir kurz nach Mittag ins Lokal gekommen. Wir kamen in ein Lokal zwar mit Gästen, aber der Service war nicht im Raum. Keine Begrüssung also. -naja, das überlebt man. Als wir dann begrüsst wurden und sogar einen Tisch bekommen haben hat das sprachliche Desaster angefangen.... Die Angestellten verstehen die Ortsübliche Sprache Züritüütsch überhaupt nicht, und nur zum Teil das Schriftdeutsch. -Wenn wir dann noch über die Serviceleistung sprechen: für 3-4 Personen sollte man sich doch merken können wer was bestellt hat, wer welches Wasser will etc....
