Hi&da in Winterthur

I have tried every coffee shop in Winterthur and this place is by far the best. Best coffee and IPA in Winterthur!

One of the best coffee, bistro, bar in town! Super fine coffee, good beer selection, fine wines and the finest raclette or the best brunch!! The staff is very accommodating and always super friendly and flexible. The absolute No. 1 in Winterthur! :-)

Quite nicely located in the old town, where it's not too loud or busy. The food (we had brunch) was top both in terms of quality and quantity. There was nothing very fancy but everything you, or at least I, expect from a brunch. The service staff was very friendly and the order always came very quickly. Is highly recommended. 😊

The lady who took our order was very nice and calm and the ambiance was comfy with good music. We ordered two chocolate milk and two crossoint, it was nothing extraordinary but the croissants weren’t very fresh.

Whether it's morning, lunch or evening, you can always get something delicious to eat and drink here. The food is fresh and homemade (the cakes are a dream!) and the selection of drinks is very varied and not run of the mill. The atmosphere is pleasant at any time of the day and the service is always top! I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hearty mix of coffee and bar. I had a delicious cappuccino, which was served with a glass of water and a small sweet, and a croissant. The service was polite and friendly. Pleasant lounge corners and appropriate music in the background. All that was missing was free WiFi.

Very nice Bistro in the middle of Winterthur! Tasty local food, good drinks and friendly staff. From the drinks menu I would recommend the Belsazar Tonic, Mango Mule, or one of the many beers they have to offer.

I can't fault anything here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the innkeeper is friendly and very customer-oriented. He often asks his customers whether everything is OK and whether they have anything else they would like. He also likes to engage in short conversations with guests, which has a very inviting effect. Great go on :-)

Great owner/manager. A lot of knowledge about beer and, above all, a great and varied beer menu (especially before Corona - hope the range changes a little more then). The seasonal drinks are always great too. Often there is something new and good individual recommendations - depending on your preferences. The salads, tarts and cakes are also great. Bizzli traveler hipster furnished ;-) and the high stools/two seats are a bit tight and moderately comfortable due to the space. But it's not that bad and the places outside are great.

I love spending my free time with good people in this great cafe bar. The staff is young, dynamic and always in a good mood. It's always a pleasure - even my grandfather, who is over 90, loves coming here. There is something delicious on the table at any time of day. You can enjoy a delicious brunch in the morning (if you order in advance), have an incredibly good tart, fabulous soups (in winter) or a delicious salad for lunch, there are always heavenly homemade cakes or sweet tarts for a snack, and delicious meat for an aperitif -Cheese platters and every Thursday a raclette chat with the best cheese! There is definitely something for everyone and there is always something to see in Obergasse! Definitely try it out and come back!

Unfortunately, the purple curry had almost no taste and the homemade Stricker iced tea and tea were also bland. It's a shame, otherwise a very nice restaurant.

Wir bekamen ein sehr feines Frühstück serviert mit frisch gepressten Orangensaft, sehr schmackhaftem Müesli, Käse- und Fleischauswahl und Früchte. Reichhaltig und alles regionale Produkte. Der Service war äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend und speditiv.

ein hübsches Lokal mit gemütlichem Ambiente.. trotz der Spielkiste für Kinder haben wir uns ziemlich unwillkommen gefühlt.. Also so wie den Kindern die Spielkiste gefällt, gefallen den Angestellten wohl Kinder. Habe extra ein hohes Trinkgeld gegeben, in der Hoffnung mein Sohn wäre nächstes Mal willkommen.. oder andere Söhne und Töchter.. ;) da ich nicht mehr mit meinem Sohn dort hin gehen werde. Schade, es gibt auch Mütter die nicht nur in der Baby/Kindzone verweilen möchten..

Hier gibt es die absolut besten Wähen der Umgebung. Das Angebot variiert - ich empfehle vor allem die Käse-Apfel Wähe. Auch der Kaffee schmeckt hier super. Das Café wirkte für mich zuerst von Aussen nicht besonders „anmächelig“. Die Palettenmöbel und das Dekor schreckten mich ein wenig ab und verliehen den Eindruck eines etwas lieblosen Hipstercafés...aber der Schein trügt absolut! Die Betreiber sind äusserst sympathisch und geben sich grosse Mühe. Besonders gut finde ich auch, dass darauf geachtet wird, regionale Produkte von kleineren Betrieben im Angebot zu haben.

Tolles Angebot, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Immer gerne wieder - ob für eine Kaffeepause oder abends auf ein Bier.

Mein Lieblingscafe in Winterthur. Nirgends sonst schmeckt der Espresso so italienisch wie hier. Aber auch die kleine warmen Gerichte wie Kuchen etc. sind von sehr guter Qualität. Dazu kommt der freundliche persönliche Service. Die Gin-Karte sowie die Drinks-Karte der Bar lassen wenig wünsche offen. Einfach zum Wohlfühlen, wie ein zweites Wohnzimmer.

Ich gehe ab und zu ins Hi&Da. Schätze sehr die unkomplizierte und freundliche Art des Personals. Die Karte lässt keine Wünsche übrig - gibt auch Alternativen zu Milch (Soja- und Mandelmilch) für Cappuccino etc. feine Wähen und Suppen und alkoholische Getränke. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Yesterday I was able to visit the restaurant hi&da for the first time. I was surprised and I really liked it. I didn't even know about it but it hasn't been around for long. The mood is relaxed, happy and youthful. The service is impeccable, they are very attentive and will immediately ask you what you want or bring you the very detailed list of drinks. There are also a lot of fine fruit juices that are freshly pressed. Always the right place to hang out indoors or outdoors, to chill out or have lively conversations.

Gestern durfte ich das erste mal das Restaurant hi&da besuchen. Ich war überrascht und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich kannte es noch gar nicht aber es gibt es auch noch nicht lange. Die Stimmung ist entspannt fröhlich und jugendlich. Der Service klappt tipptopp, sie sind sehr aufmerksam und kommen auch gleich fragen was man möchte oder bringen einem die sehr ausführliche Getränkeliste. Dabei sind auch sehr viele feine Fruchtsäfte die frisch gepresst werden.Zu abhängen drinnen oder draußen, zum chillen oder für angeregte Gespräche immer der richtige Ort.
