Hide & Seek - St. Moritz in Silvaplana

Very atmospheric restaurant with top service and good food.

Service was amazing, that is the real reason they deserve a five. We went for Christmas dinner. It was a set menu for 6 courses. The food was good, just not great. The amazing service really made the whole evening a night to remember.

One of the best restaurants ever!!! Great for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and the honey parfait is the best dessert I have ever tasted! Absolutely recommended, definitely worth a visit!

Very good food, had a wonderful evening

Came to Hide & Seek during a a lovely winter get away with my family. The restaurant's atmosphere was exactly what we where looking for, a nice mix of classic “Swiss-ness”, being very cozy and welcoming, whilst still feeling modern. The pricing was surely up there, but I mean what else can you expect in St. Moritz. And one must say they deliver accordingly (good price-performance ratio)! The staff was also very welcoming and lovely in general. Great experience! Looking forward to our next visit :)

Food is legit in terms of St Moritz standard. I can see where the thai influence comes from but I was expecting more that represents more of the location of the restaurant. The service is generally good, however, it was pretty shocking when they served two of us food when one was not even at the table lol overall good quality fine dining experience without too much hustle to get a table

It was a wonderful experience to eat in Ecco! We had a wonderful meal, perfect wine and delicious cocktails! The service was outstanding! I definitely recommend anyone to go there!

I have had the pleasure of dining at Ecco on multiple occasions and over the course of several years, they have managed to maintain the element of surprise and the wonderful cuisine to the highest standard. I will go as far as to say this is my favourite restaurant in the whole world. The service is lovely, particularly with Jenifer in charge. Chef Ralf is a genius and fortunately a very approachable one - you always have the opportunity for a chat at the end of the dinner, which is a lovely touch. Wine flight is regularly topped off and the inventiveness of the cuisine takes you on a beautiful journey. A visit to Ecco has become a part of our annual St. Moritz tradition and I look forward to our next visit. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on the Valentine's day (2019). We got asked if we have any allergies before bringing us the menu, which is nice. Then, we got served multiple starters (their quality was good overall), and waiters presented that as a surprise from the chef - no complaints here. After that "fun" part begins - we've looked at the menu of main courses and it said that the price of 4 dishes is 215 swiss francs. So we've ordered 4 main dishes in total: something with a crab, something with veal, Canadian bison and toothfish. When we were ordering that, waiters did not make a note to us that veal dish is served with raw meat. The dish with crab was overall pretty bad. The dish with veal was brought to me and I was told that it is served with raw veal. When I said I cannot eat raw meat, waiter told me that I can try other parts of the dish. Overall dish was pretty average too. Then the bison and the toothfish were really good. Then we got served a desert, another surprise by the chief. Desert was really good too. Then I asked for the bill - this is where real fun begins. The bill did not have expected 215 swiss Franks for 4 dishes - they made it 300. When I asked why - I was told that 2 people had 4 starters each (but wait, you have said before that this is a surprise from chief, haven't you?) and that they cannot just make it 4 main dishes across 2 people. After I complained about the initial 215 franks that I was in the menu, waiter changed the final bill by adding 10% discount, whaaat? Did you just admit that the bill I was given in the first place is just a nonsense? Overall, I think chief did a really good job for 2 main dishes, really poor for the other 2. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant overall. My background: I live in the UAE and eat in restaurants very often, including high end ones. I would describe my experience with Ecco as "only half of the dishes were nice, and the price is not fair - they just put what they want on the bill".

Chef Ralf gave us an unique experience. Very well trained team and friendly to tourists. Their chocolate is a great surprise.

Tasty place, tho it's hugely expensive

Amazing 6 step journey , highest gastro quality , subtile flavor, all decoration magic.

The service is very bad, they ignore people, they make people confused, overall it’s just terrible service. We also get charged 200 Swiss franc for canceling the seats.

When reserving a table in the restaurant, you will be asked to provide credit card details for security reasons. Who do they think they are? You probably need it!

very luxurious, brilliant experience

This is one of The Best places I've ever eaten. I travel the US and Canada and, again, this is tops. For Business or pleasure. Food is excellent.
