HIESTAND Backmarkt Bistro & Shop in Schlieren

Very nice and well-equipped Hiestand Bistro "Black Market". Good selection of very tasty Hiestand products. The lunch was very tasty and freshly prepared. The staff is always friendly and helpful/accommodating. Enough space both inside and outside. Free parking spaces available in front of the bistro. Great, I'll be back again.

I'm there Go Bread Go Shopping and Lye Summit and they have a very large range of baked goods and I like that very much. I really enjoy going shopping there at the Hiestand bakery market here in Schlieren

Came for lunch on a sunny end of May friday around 1pm and it wasn't busy. Price was around 15 francs for a decent quality and size meal. They had plenty of seating, it was actually not busy at all. On the day we came it was a perfect day to sit outside and enjoy a decent price (for Zurich) meal. Worth it if your around the area.

Diverse catering options. Meat and vegetarian menu every day. Sanwiches, salads, rolls, sweet baked goods etc.

I like coming to have breakfast, it's very clean, nice and very quiet.

Diverse menus at a good price. The fresh sandwiches are also highly recommended. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the pizza at all, not even the more expensive "gourmet pizza" version, as an Aufbach pizza from Migros or Coop tastes a lot better.

Delicious baked goods from our own bakery. At lunch there is still a meat menu and veggies and various salads. In summer there is also an outside barbecue stand.

Lunch menus are okay but nothing special

It's great that you're open every day and the bargain tent is open 5 times a year, you can always buy frozen products and second choice products or freshly baked ones. Open Monday to Sunday and every breakfast or other party is saved 😊 especially if you like croissants or bake your own yarn at home, the budget is also saved. Advice also included and eating on site is also possible. Parking spaces as well and wheelchair accessible too. Staff very nice. If you don't know Hiestand, Coop and many gas stations bake the products you can see on the packaging paper.

Hiestand sets standards in terms of quality when it comes to “industrial baked goods”. The good thing is that they are available in many places with the same quality. The "bad" thing (actually the sad part...) is that the quality is often better than in normal local bakeries - well, if they bake at all. Where Hiestand can improve, however, is the friendliness of the shop staff, there is a lot of potential...

Doesn't convince me. The staff is friendly, but you have to eat it yourself... Fast food, cooked without any ambition and not my cup of tea. But as you can see from the look, they can't help it if I get "lost".

If you go after work or sometimes during lunch, it is set up so that you have space and can also move around with seats outside and inside. If you want water with your coffee, you should let us know at the checkout, but it's not a given, but you'll get one.

Fine baked goods at the buffet. Unfortunately the tables were always sticky and dirty.

Here you can stock up in the Hiestand “factory outlet”. On weekends in summer we also offer breakfast on the terrace.
