Great swiss food! Restaurant filled up pretty quickly at lunch time.

Very nice place to stay, rest after a hike and enjoy. You will be greeted in a very friendly and warm manner and provided with tasty food. The view of Lake Lucerne is fantastic.

I've been there again for a long time. We ate very well. We were served very friendly. Thank you Sonja and Margrit for the great service. The subsequent hike via Pfäng, Obermatt, Breitäbnet, the Zwärgliweg, to Obergschwend is highly recommended and can be done very easily in about 2 hours, even for less experienced mountain hikers and children. A nice Sunday family outing

After a strenuous hike from Rigi Kaltbad (at 30 degrees) and very rocky, partly steep paths, the nice team at Rest. Hinterbergen pampered us beyond measure. Fine food, great service - and wonderful views! Then gratefully took the cable car down to Vitznau. Happy to come back!

An absolute insider tip! Here the guest is still "king"👍 too late for lunch, we are allowed to order from the large menu at 2:30 p.m., after a short consultation with the kitchen. And the lunch menu, as well as the dessert, were super delicious after the two-hour climb (there is also a train)! Five stars are actually not enough!

Nice view, disappointing food. The tomato soup for 10 chf was very small and tasted like canned tomatoes. The service is friendly but unfortunately not that attentive.

I was so happy that there was a self-service section when the restaurant next door was closed... it was so hot hiking up that I had almost used up all my water!

Very good mountain restaurant with an incomparable view. This family business offers everything that mountain goers, hikers and day trippers would like in a cozy atmosphere. Extremely friendly, attentive service, very fine food, menus, plates, also something for in between, good wines, desserts and a fantastic panorama. We are really looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect, friendly and authentic mountain restaurant. We ate a very tasty Graubünden barley soup. The service is super warm and there is a cute golden retriever waiting in front of the door - we would love to come back.

After long raining and stunning spectacular hikinh, this Restaurant welcoming you. With a beer and the house special dish amase me and I feel I will miss this place for life. You must come and enjoy their family run warm Restaurant.

Only used the self-controlled cable car but it was brilliant at the end of a very enjoyable walk.

Super nice restaurant. The view is amazing. Very nice service. We can only highly recommend stopping off here, especially after a hike or before the final descent. Especially the lounger under the tree. Very cozy.

Provided exactly what I was looking for, exactly when I was looking for it. Enjoyed a nice cold beer outside in the sun with a gorgeous view on my way hiking down the mountain. Nice service with smiles too.
