We don't know the hotel, we can't say anything about it, we stopped at the restaurant!

Barely back from my week of "retirement", I submit with great gratitude my opinion on this magnificent and warm establishment. Thanks to the very friendly owner, her warm team and the family atmosphere that reigns there, I had a peaceful and joyful stay there, (even with folk music, played by the owner and friends, on Sunday afternoon) . Quality cuisine, homemade and very tasty, delighted my demanding taste buds (the Cordon-bleu and the homemade Paris coffee sauce are to die for). I was looking for something authentic, traditional, simple, beautiful and good - it was all there. Only regret: the hunting stews were marinating on the day I left - so I had to come back quickly ;-) A big thank you for everything, also for the great hiking tips, I enjoyed myself on every level. See you soon!

seul restaurant sur la route entre Charmey et Jaun .le cadre est rustique avec une deco assez kitsch entre la scie décorée et les trophées de chamois et j'en passe c'est suissokitsch.La cuisine est comme la deco rustique ce midi pour 19,50Fs une soupe de légumes et un ragoût de poulet.Sinon à la carte vous retrouvez tous les plats traditionnels Suisse rösti,fondue,macaroni,croûte au fromage etc.Le service un peu bourru ne dénote pas .
