The guy had a super agressive dog there that attacked my dog while passing by. If you have children or dogs better avoid it.

Great bar. Friendly host with a great team. My après ski stop after every day of skiing. In addition to the diverse selection of drinks, you can also enjoy bacon with bread or raclette on bread (Cheese Brägel). Sausage and alpine cheese from local suppliers can also be purchased locally. A toilet is also available. If you don't want to go down the valley anymore, you can take the public bus at the Hotel Aspen about 200 meters below the bar. The Holzerbar is worth a visit.

Aspen Hotel is an insider tip♡ Very friendly team and service. Great location, right on the Eiger. Beautiful and very clean rooms, modern and in lumberjack style. Price performance fits. Great breakfast and resturant. Everything very tasty and natural. Spa, sauna, herbal bath, steam bath and Jakusie pool, with fantastic views. Most importantly, professional and friendly reception. Bodenstrasse 4The two sisters stayed here in early September 2023. They originally booked 3 days, but felt good and added another day, so they stayed for 4 days in total. It is really pleasant to sit on the balcony every morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the hazy mountain scenery. I hope I can stay here for a month if I have the opportunity in the future.

Kreuzweg 9Dinner at the Edelweiss stube, which offers a varied menu. Everything (fondue, entrecôte, röstis) is very correct (without reaching gastronomic heights), and good value for money for Grindelwald.
