HOME Restaurant in Meyrin

I've been coming to this restaurant several times now and it's a shame there's not much on the menu for a snack. Unlike its beginnings, there was a wide choice of tarts for snack time. The service was not up to standard with a waitress who made us wait more than 30 minutes to bring us hot tea and frozen guacamole with tacos. Furthermore, when I ask a waiter if they have pies and he dares to tell me that the pies he distributes to customers, I have difficulty seeing what he is doing in the restaurant business and giving a very bad image to this restaurant. ! Too bad because the food is usually good there.

We organised a group dinner for ~40 people at HOME restaurant and everything was great! The meals were delicious and the service fast. Huge thanks to the manager and the team for accommodating all our needs! Highly recommended 😊

After several visits to HOME, I have always been very satisfied as well as the people I was with! Everything was very good and for a reasonable price. The weekly menus are reasonable given the quantity we have!

June 15, and the 2 cousins ​​were alone faced with a greater demand than usual. They knew how to remain professional and smiling despite the pressure. came here while on vacation, looked forward to dinner but was severely disappointed in the wait time between ordering and getting our food. especially because the food that did eventually come out was mediocre at best. won’t be coming back here :(

The ambience is good and the food as well. But, the lady who took my call when enquiring for my reservation gave me wrong information. She told me the Valentine special was CHF70 per couple. Therefore my wife and I shared all the meals, however to make payments I was given a bill for 2 persons...CHF 140. That was quite expensive for a single meal shared by 2 persons.

The open kitchen and decor set the mood, accompanied by cocktails from the bar. One thing to understand is that dishes are meant to be shared - this is mentioned in one corner of the menu. One dish is usually big enough for 2 people. Good menu but pass on the burger, no interest. Otherwise to recommend!

I was delighted when I saw the opening of this restaurant which stands out from the other restaurants in the center. The restaurant is nicely furnished and the service is attentive and very friendly. The presentation of the dishes is neat and quite modern. Despite this beautiful presentation we quickly realize that these are pre-prepared dishes in a semi-industrial way, but of good quality. I won't say anything, if corresponding prices would be charged and not the prices of a restaurant with a real kitchen made on site (HOME)-made!

Amazing experience tonight at HOME restaurant! We were staying nearby for work and really just wanted a hearty meal after a long day. We didn’t expect to find anything decent around the airport hotel but were pleasantly surprised when we found this beautiful restaurant! The food was amazing, made with attention to detail and fresh ingredients. The menu is suitable for everyone including vegetarian and allergies. But the best part was Tomas our waiter, who was so kind, helpful and ever so subtly present. His English was flawless which helped as he explained the menu. Absolutely gorgeous place, highly recommend. What was supposed to be just a quick bite turned into a really awesome dinner. Thank you!

A fabulous welcome.... if you have a child they offer you drawing sheets and there are games. The decoration is superb everywhere you look, there are a few things to discover and the toilets are extraordinary, I've never seen them! A must see 😀😘 We ate some super nice and good ice creams for 10.- but it was worth it. I would happily go back and try something else 😍

So it was a bit reluctant that I had lunch at HOME and I don’t regret it! It all starts with the welcome, more than friendly, the ordering was quick and in a good mood, the service very well organized, the wait is not long unlike other restaurants. We see the cooks busy preparing the dishes, and, it should be noted, all the staff wore a mask and wore it correctly! In this period of pandemic, this is a point to which I attach great importance. We had different dishes at our table: hamburgers, pasta, club sandwich and bowl of happiness. Not a single person criticized his dish, quite the contrary; For my part, the Bolognese sauce that accompanied the pasta was delicious. And what about the desserts! A pure marvel! Chef Costa's imprint is there and if the main course hadn't been so hearty, I would have been tempted by a second dessert: a good excuse to return for lunch or dinner there! The decoration is neat, it is a beautiful restaurant, even the toilets are unusual and very clean. Don't they say that the cleanliness of a restaurant is first seen in the state of its sanitary facilities? It’s flawless in every way and I can only advise you to give it a try! Pork ribs way too fatty! It was literally bathed in its fat! Even 5 hours later, the heavy stomach still remembers it! A very bad plate and for 25 CHF two pork ribs...... One thing for sure I won't go back there again!
