Hotel Beau Rivage in Zermatt

This hotel is perfect if you’re looking for quality but not over priced lodging in Zermatt! The room was super clean when we first arrived, and stayed clean throughout our 5 days stay, housekeeping came twice a day to tidy up and replace any towels. They also have a great laundry service. We stayed in the standard room, big enough for two people, and it had a mini fridge and a tea kettle. The staff here was also super nice and professional. If you’re coming for the ski season, this place is also centrally located from the sunnegga tram lift and the Matterhorn glacier paradise gondolas. There’s a bus stop literally right outside the hotel from the ski room that they provide and the bus comes every 10 minutes. Overall a 5/5 experience, recommending this place to all my friends who decide to visit Zermatt!

Famtastic location and a fantastic room with Matterhorn view. Rooms and service was good. Pillows were very thin. I know sometimes it can get hot in Zermatt. Probably would help if there are some portable fans handy for people staying there. Staff was good and willing to help.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen! In Zermatt vor dem Hotel angekommen sehen wir hinter der Türe nur die Farbeimer und Zementsäcke liegen. Auf Nachfrage im danebenliegenden Cafe erfahren wir, dass sich das Hotel im Umbau befindet und derzeit geschlossen ist. Die nette Dame im Cafe ruft gleich den Besitzer an. Nach kurzem, nicht sehr freundlichem Telefonat meinte dieser nur, dass er uns per Mail kontaktierte und als er nichts mehr hörte war die Sache für Ihn gegessen. Nur wurden wir nie kontaktiert, weder Mail noch Telefon. Des weiteren war es problemlos möglich auf der eigenen Homepage des Hotels zu buchen. Die Buchungsbestätigung hatten wir auch erhalten. Verhalten des Besitzers absolut inakzeptabel und daher bestimmt auch kein erneuter Versuch. Man kann auch jetzt noch buchen obwohl das Hotel eine Baustelle ist. Kein Verständnis für solche Aktionen.

Après s'être présenté à la réception, nous avons pris possession de la chambre. Nous avions réservé une table dans l'un des restaurants (Al trecolore) de l'hôtel Alabama Real pour 20h20 attendu que le restaurant de l'hôtel Beau-Rivage était fermé. De retour du restaurant, il était évidemment trop tard pour pouvoir profiter de l'espace bien-être. Le lendemain, nous avons été prendre le petit déjeuner suffisamment tôt pour pouvoir, ensuite, aller profiter du l'espace bien-être.
