Nice little ski-break with my youngest baby girl. Always love Switzerland but Zermatt was particularly beautiful. Great ski-in ski-out hotel. Felt nice to be up the mountain and out of the centre for the evenings - but make sure you catch the last ski-lift up to the hotel. Food plentiful, staff pleasant and helpful. Would def go back again.

We visited during a storm which negatively impacted us coming and going via the cable cars, so I would not recommend staying here if you do not have flexibility in your travels or if your planned activities require going into town. Staying at Schwarzsee was a unique experience. We adored it very much, but not sure if we would do it again. The included breakfast was cold continental style. Many flies/ bees are flying at the buffet table area. We know we are in the beautiful nature world, but still, it was hard to swallow... We felt like staying here once in a life time experience is good and enough. No more.
