Hotel Ceresio in Lugano

Small but nice, very clean room. Breakfast with fresh fruit salad and a lot of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is extremely fantastic, close to the lake and the city. I don't rule out another visit.

I think it’s unacceptable for a hotel not to have reception all day. Please pay attention to the timetables, because the reception is available only from 8 am to 2pm. The rest of the day there’s no reception at all, no one in the hotel, and they don’t even answer the phone. Of course I didn’t know this and arrived at 15 o’clock and was in big trouble. They don’t give you the ticino ticket unless you ask them for it, which I think is REALLY bad, they should tell you about that ticket and give it to you as soon as you arrive. Breakfast is not included and and costs CHF 12 per person. Rooms are small and there’s one lift that works only until 9pm. All this for an ENORMOUS prize. I know Switzerland is an expensive country, but here you pay A LOT for a truly 2star hotel.

Very centrally located and perfectly adequate for a few days. Breakfast was varied and good. We'd love to come back!

Das Essen besteht aus tiefgefrorenem Gemüse, Kartoffelstock aus dem Beutel und Schweinshaxen. Als Vorspeise gab es Barilla Penne mit Barilla Tomaten Basilikum Sauce. Essensörtlichkeit wirkt verstaubt und veraltet.

Этот ресторан находится в гостинице Ceresio, которая мне категорически не понравилась. Но на удивление, ресторан произвел благоприятное впечатление. Во-первых, завтраки были вполне нормальными, было чисто, и кроме того, меня тронуло до глубины души, что кофе и чай подавали работающие там официантами молодые люди с "ограниченными возможностями". Они очень старались оправдать доверие, иногда, правда, забывая, кому несут кофе. Хозяева молодцы, что дают работу этим ребятам, им так необходима социализация.Во-вторых, мы оказались в этом отеле как раз на наш праздник - День Победы. Администрация любезно предоставила ресторан для нашей дружеской вечеринки по этому поводу. Официант, обслуживавший нас, был любезен и расторопен. Еда также была хорошей. Вечер получился очень теплым и запоминающимся.Спасибо!
