Snack Bar Binario in Lugano

Bar at Lugano station Disappointed! I can accept a Ticino merlot white wine in a plastic glass at a country festival but not here if this is the presentation of our Ticino to arriving tourists 😒

Dirty place and service that is not very attentive and attentive. Definitely a place that needs more attention, especially in terms of cleanliness.

It is rare that after a renovation a place is worse than before, but unfortunately this is the case for the platform of Lugano station! Unpleasant smell all the way to the outside. You are not served but sent. The rude ladies preferred to chat with the very ungroomed regulars, for whom this is probably more of a changing room than a place to chat. Unfortunately the restaurant cannot be recommended.

Gelato wasn’t special, but ok. It was a good stop while waiting the train at Lugano station.

My worst experience by staff.. two girls who served me and they were really rude. Fumbling with their eyes and felt like I was a burden. Please quit your service job and find a one more suitable if you can’t stand out with other people.

Everything served well and quickly. The coffee is very good. The only disadvantage: Female staff with long hair should tie it in a ponytail or braid. Otherwise there is a risk of eating pizza with hair. In the catering industry it is a MUST to work with a suitable hairstyle. Thanks

I am a sporadic customer, I happened to want to take a piadina, unfortunately while I was asking to have it heated I caught my eye on the hygienic conditions of the oven, I felt sick, the oven is completely surrounded by burnt fat of who knows how many months ago and from rust, the piadina was in direct contact with everything I described above. The microwave is in the same condition. I'm sorry because the products are excellent but I won't go back again as my health prevails more than my greed.

Passable coffee, dry donut, ice cream and terrible cream. Maybe from the previous day? Not recommended unless you are desperate..

Capuchino and brioche, fast, tasty, fair price, what more could you want

I've been there two or three times (never to go again) except perhaps the only guy who works there, who smiles at you and is helpful and kind, the other employees are sulky and rude... they throw things at you and on to the next one, without even thank you and goodbye.

Excellent coffee and croissants... Pizzas and sandwiches stuffed with top quality products. Friendly staff, nice and fast I recommend it for a coffee, a quick break, an aperitif... ALWAYS AT THE TOP

As every train station bar in the world should be! If they franchised it they would be filled with gold. Fast, efficient, clean with awake staff. Very good coffee and price accordingly, variety of croissants 🥐, chocolate, pistachio, jam and all at a good price too. Impeccable, sincerely very good and with an excellent view of the Lake in front of Lugano. If you pass by the station in 5 minutes you made yourself a coffee with croissants. Top 👨🏼‍🦲✌🏼

Good fluffy croissant though, however strange sugary and orange taste. Unfriendly staff, it was a bit crowded but there was no reasonable explanation for that

My point of reference when I arrive and when I leave Lugano. The certainty of finding an excellent beer always accompanied by a snack such as arancini pizzas and much more... super good products and the kindness of the staff is incomparable! Highly recommended!

First of all, they didn't have any food from the menu they had. Just the one from the counter. Afterwards, the prices of the goods did not match the price lists. And finally there was an insect in my piadina. All in all it was very disappointing.
