Hotel du Pont in Brig-Glis

Unique and very nice experience with very friendly staff who made us spend some time happily Thank you

We don't know the hotel, but we are often guests in the family-run restaurant, which is highly recommended. We don't know of any place where you can eat such a large, well-cooked selection of fresh vegetables - most of which come from the large garden that you can clearly see as you enter Brig train station. And the prices are very moderate, even for the wines. You definitely won't leave this place with an empty stomach!

You should only accept as many reservations as you can serve. The pre-eat was a bit bland and the salad was drowned in sauce. I hope that after waiting almost 2 hours the main course will at least be really good.

An absolute dream in Valais. The owners of the hotel and restaurant are simply the best. Check in was easy and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately the rooms need to be renovated again. But for a short stay, the Hotel du Pont is absolutely perfect.
