Hotel Kreuz & Post Grindelwald in Grindelwald

I bought something and the lady started yelling at me bacause i used the bathroom, the worst experience in this beautiful place.

Rooms with a view of the Eiger are not quiet because they face the street.

In the family-run hotel you feel like you are at home, and even better because you are pampered here... With a fantastic breakfast buffet in the morning, a snack around the clock, and after an intensive day outside you can relax in the spa area and recharge your batteries in the restaurant. The service both in the restaurant and at the reception is always friendly and efficient. A big thank you to the Konzett family and the whole team for everything!

One week ski break / half board in Feb '24 : Fantastic family run hotel in the very heart of Grindelwald, great staff and excellent food - Highly recommended.

Two nights in an apartment. Friendly and courteous staff. Spacious, well-equipped rooms. The food is to die for! Pure relaxation in the spa. Gladly again at any time!

I went to restaurant during lunch time. Lot of people and so I waited for long time. That's understandable. But when the bald guy comes, gives me menu and with smile I tell him I am ready to order the baldie turned red and in passive aggressive tone he tells me "no english! I speak german, italian, french..." like wow I stood up and left next door to Wolter to have a lovely smiley waitress I only know couple words in german and one is really handy for this rude man: kundigung

A good dining option in Grindelwald, with excellent steak and good cheese rösti. Efficient and friendly service.

It really doesn't get much better than Kreuz-Post in Grindelwald. Just stayed here for second time (first was nearly 25 years ago) and still an amazing property. Small, family run hotel right on main Street with location and views that are second to none. They accommodated me with a last minute booking request and whole trip was perfect. Staff so very kind. Rooms impeccably clean. Hotel cozy and a few steps from train station and main bus depot so it's perfectly located for ski trip at Jungfrau. Daily breakfast buffet is wonderful with many options that are fresh (breads, yogurt, muesli, meats, cheese, fruit, eggs, bacon, juice, coffee, tea) and it is extremely well staffed. Tables by windows afford views of surrounding mountains. Hotel also has restaurant on main floor with wonderful, local and regionally inspired dishes and an amazing atmosphere (if you are lucky, you can get seated in back room which is a very cozy, wood paneled room). We ate there 2 nights in a row and had fabulous food and service each time. We had to check out the night before as we were on an early train, and front desk was kind enough to arrange picnic bags for us to pick up from the night porter on the way out early the next morning. Not if, but when I return I will stay once again with Family Konzett as they and their staff are amazing hosts.
