It is a restaurant with good service that suits Korean tastes. I visited early lunch on March 16th and had a quiet meal. I ordered tandoori chicken and spicy chicken curry, and it wasn't too salty, just perfect for Korean tastes. The tandoori chicken was not moist, but had a textured texture and the spice scent was not that strong, so it was easy to resist. For the spicy chicken curry, the server said it was too spicy, so I asked for medium spiciness, but it wasn't spicy, just spicy. It was the best among Swiss restaurants because it wasn't salty or greasy.

Best meal we had in Switzerland. Whereas most places you far overpay for what you get, here you get what you pay for if you like Indian/Nepalese food.

Top marks all around for excellent Indian food and service. The waiters were very attentive, food came pretty quickly also although the restaurant was full. Prices were reasonable and the main dishes come with rice. For me the downside was that although the rice was cooked well it was not fragrant like good quality basmati rice and it was the broken type, so it is of cheaper quality. Overall though we were very happy with the meal.

We were a group of 8, adults and teens, service was very good and friendly, the food was excellent, fresh and super tasty, if we were staying longer we would come again. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Grindelwald.

We had dinner and food was just amazing. Ambience is also very lovely. Their menu has lots of options including vegetarian. Curries portions was enough for 2 people and bread basket is a very good option. Breads were so tasty ans soft. They also provided Rice bowel with our curry as complimentary. They also has lots of drink options. Staff was so polite and went beyond to accommodate all our requests. Much appreciate their staff for such a great service. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back when in the village. Grindelwald is a very beautiful village with senic beauty. A much visit village and indian restaurant. We spent a joyful evening at Golden India with a group of 18 people in January. The staff was super friendly and flexible given that we were a slightly chaotic group. Most importantly, we really enjoyed the dishes and came again with my parents (who until then were not the biggest fans of Indian food) a few days later. A huge thanks to Golden India!

Go on and don't go in. Anyone who can mix curry into cream can cook better. Has nothing in common with delicious, spicy Indian cuisine.

When we arrived there were already shady people sitting in the shop, which didn't make the atmosphere look good. The food (chicken korma, papadums with sauces) was tasteless, no spices were used. I've never had such a delicious Indian meal before! We think the food comes from a can or is heated up as a ready meal. Paid almost 70 euros for unsatisfactory food. The service is in English even though the cards are in German!? You can't expect any quality or ambience here. The 4 stars are incomprehensible to me. I advise against this store.

We ate at this restaurant three times during our trip. We enjoyed the food, especially the butter chicken is recommended. However, I found the price to be quite high, but that's probably normal in Switzerland. According to the owner, the meat is Halal, which was a plus for us. The only thing I didn't like was that the waiter didn't even say thank you when we tipped. I think a small nice gesture would at least have been appropriate.

For two days, we visited this place specifically to enjoy spicy Indian food in the cold weather. The food was fantastic, but we encountered a problem with the waiter on the second day. Initially, the waiter placed the plates on our table with loud noises, which seemed unintentional at first. However, this continued when he served us water. There's a need to retrain your staff in waiter etiquette. Additionally, the tables were tightly packed together, and we found it uncomfortable when the waiter leaned over our table while serving food to the adjacent table. This was an odd and unpleasant experience for us.

Since we didn't have any reservations and almost all the restaurants were fully booked, we went to Golden India. The atmosphere is a bit cold, some Indian jewelry would certainly do the place some good. However, the food was very, very good and also very filling. The restaurant is also very attractive in terms of price.

I’ll give 5.5 stars as the boss exceeded my expectation. Excellent food taste.

One of the best Indian Restaurant in Grindelwald, the staff is amazing and polite with super fast service and fresh food served. The taste of the food is awesome, after 10 days trips we have tasted this kind of tasty food, thanks to the owner.

The quality of the food, the atmosphere and the service make you feel right at home. Though it's slightly expensive - it's worth every franc.

Tucked away in Grindelwald, a mere 13-minute walk from the train station, this Indian restaurant is a taste of authentic North India amidst the Swiss mountains. The Swiss scenic beauty coupled with Indian cuisine offers an interesting contrast. Worth a visit for the food and the vistas!

It’s a nice Indian restaurant in the Grindelwald a walk of 13 minutes from the train station it’s not that hygienic and lot of flies will sing you song. Food was good and with authentic testing North Indian dishes , view is also superb if you sit outside. Over all good place to visit when you are craving Indian food in Swiss alps

Friendly staff, delicious northern Indian cuisine, and a great location in town.

Initially felt good as it was the only option for getting Indian food in the Grindelwald area. Ordered chai which was very average. My cup of Ginger tea had a big piece of raw ginger in it. Ordered Paneer tikka masala, specifically asked them to make it extra spicy, in turn received paneer makhani (sweet gravy). When I clarified, instead of accepting it was a wrong order they said this is how they make the gravy of paneer tikka masala. I ordered pickles so to add some spice, they said it will be “extra charge”. Big questionable customer service, firstly delivering a wrong order and then having the audacity to say extra charge (btw of CHF 2.5 only) which was they should have offered on their own to “fix” their wrong order. Not happy.

Arriving in the evening, I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a restaurant near my accommodation, and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken vindaloo wasn't too spicy! It's sour and spicy and delicious haha. I guess the lamb here is delicious! The lamb meat is tender and delicious! And be sure to drink local beer! It’s really deliciousㅠㅠㅠ

A very excellent restaurant. I tried the meat and chicken biryani, which were delicious. I also tried the ghee, dangerous naan, lentils and butter chicken. I recommend trying the restaurant. They serve 2 very respected people, Donal and Omash, very much. I thank them and I will visit them in the coming years, God willing.

A cozy Indian restaurant with a great view. We had the best Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan there and it was the best Indian food we had in all of Switzerland. The service was great and the hospitality was extremely nice. We ended up visiting 2 of their other outlets in Switzerland after that.

Recently I visited to Golden India in Switzerland & that left me thoroughly impressed. Hospitality which I received from team Golden India was amazingly wowww.....I was surprised that Mandeepji sent my picture to all the staff members that my friend is coming and you need to take care for him just becasue he was not there ... I was surprised by how much he cares for people, How humble he is and what service he is giving...Ofcourse by visiting 9 times we are having different level bond now but what I feel is sharing by words and doing by actions are 2 different things and this Above PAR service of Team golden India left smile on my face and space in my heart..Ofcourse Taste on my tongue that too in city like Swiss is just different level of feeling, As well the food quality was exceptional, Their genuine care for their guests is evident in every interaction, making you feel like a cherished member of the family. I went to this Indian restaurant after getting tired of pizza after the activity at Pirist 🥹 I ordered Chicken Tasal Maca + Chicken Butter Cream + Garlic Naan + Beer and it was a crazy restaurant!!! Rice is served for free so eat it together❤️ It is recognized as a restaurant that suits Korean tastes.

The food was ok and service was average. They also opened late. Eventhought there were people standing outside the door and trying to come into the restaurant - There was no apology, just opened the ripe at the front and said nothing. The meals were ok.

In fact, I saw criticism about the restaurant I understand cooking, and thank God I often visit the restaurant and you will not regret it Regarding prices / Switzerland is definitely the most expensive country, so please come and pay The amount of food is very appropriate.
