The rooms are a bit noisy, but the location is wonderful and very central. The spa area is also first class and the breakfast cannot be complained about.

Had a great stay at La Couronne even if we only stayed for 2 nights! I really like that they had a two-chair table in the room, and their rooms are very spacious! They also have a TV dashboard where you can plug in HDMI cable to be able to watch from your laptop to the TV. Great staff from the bar and the restaurant. And to top it all, they have the best cheese fondue I have ever tasted my entire life!!! If you ever stay at La Couronne or get to dine it at their restaurant, please do not forget to try their Old Zermatt fondue with some chili, bacon and garlic in it. You won't regret it.

Kräftige Lüftung, welche erst die Luft aus dem Ablauf der Dusche ansog, lies sich aber rasch mit befüllen des Siphon beheben. Frühstück als Buffet war mangels Gäste und durch die aktuelle Lage etwas ausgedünnt. Dies wurde aber durch das freundliche Personal und den einmaligen Blick ausgeglichen. Eierspeisen und Würstchen oder Rösti konnte zudem direkt bestellt werden. Wir haben jedenfalls nichts vermisst. Preis/Leistung ist für die Lage, den Ort Zermatt und 3* kurz vor Weihnachten für uns absolut ok. Werde ich gerne weiter empfehlen. 😊

Sehr gut gelegen um die Bahn Matterhorn Express zu erreichen. Skibus auch grad um die Ecke. Je nach Lage des Zimmers schöne Sicht auf das Matterhorn. Freundliche Mitarbeiter und sehr gutes Essen. Das Birchermüesli beim Frühstück war der Hit.

Loved this hotel! Stayed at an Airbnb first trip to Zermatt and while that was fine, our stay at Hotel La Couronne was a far nicer experience on the return trip. View of the Matterhorn from the rooms and the breakfast room is spectacular. The ski lockers in the basement with boot and glove dryers are so convenient with an elevator leading you right out to the street with a bus stop just across the river. Breakfasts were great and service was expedient. Many bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk from downtown. Free pickup and drop off at the train station. Also provided a “locker room” on the main floor to shower and change after skiing the day we checked out. I will definitely stay here again if I’m lucky enough to return to Zermatt.
