Super friendly and cosy atmosphere and staff. If you are looking for something that is not “cheese and white tablecloth” this is your place 😊 Great sharing dishes!! And cocktails !

loved the dandan ramen they had on that day. really expensive but honestly so is everything in zermatt. only downside is we were charged chf 4 for each mug of warm water we were provided, that took us by surprise. ambience is really warm and cozy, will be back :-)

We came for “Ramen Monday” and it did not disappoint! It was truly a special and delicious broth, and there was so much flavour in the noodles. Best ramen I have had in years!

The place has a friendly vibe and the staff are super welcoming. We had a marinated egg with rice, the egg seems unusual but tastes really good! And the potatoes with sesame where lovely. Will be returning for a chai tea latte and some chocolate waffles soon.

You have to read this if you are coming for Ramen.😭 First of all, great atmosphere, fabulous service and cozy environment. However, the ramen here is the worst ramen I have ever tried in my entire life. Don’t order the ramen if you love average Japanese Ramen. I am super sorry this is my first ever comment on google food review but I have to do this. The vibe is good here tho and Zermatt is beautiful. Maybe just grab a coffee is better next time

Since reservation until we walk out of the door, we have received the utmost warmest welcome. The service was great with very friendly people, the pace of food was excellent. Their short ribs is a must try! Thank you for a great experience.

Nice place but the flat white (6.5 chf) was pretty bad. Seems to me that coffee beans were cheap.

Best restaurant in Zermatt by far. No pictures as the food was so good, we ate it super quickly. I recommend the Miso Kurbis, Gamja Jorim, Yakitori and Mayak Ei

Not the cheapest Aperol Sptritz, but the view when you are sitting outside surrounded by mountains and snow makes it well worth it!

Mountain and Banana and I had the most beautiful experience thanks to the Greek warrior goddess Xena. The incredible food was only exceeded by the otherworldly service with a smile. The lights in the __ could be brighter, according to a questionable subhuman.

I was looking for something different and Manud delivered! Asian inspired, very flavorful and creative with excellent service! I had the Mayak Egg and Zander Soup and I would highly recommend both! Get the chili oil to kick it up a notch. Finished off with the White Chocolate and Yuzu Mousse which was fantastic. I'll definitely be back for the food and also importantly the friendly service.

Very cool atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! Bahn Mi was amazing! Recommend the Hot Ginger Apple or hot chocolate on a cold day. Also, they have fantastic ramen on Mondays!

We came here for my birthday on NYE and did not have a good experience. I let the manager, Romaine, know that I was celebrating my birthday and there wasn’t an acknowledgement from the staff at all - I wasn’t expecting anything but it would have been nice if they would have at least said Happy Birthday. I’d been emailing with Romaine to book the reservation and even spoke with her on the phone, and when I asked the waitress if she was working that night and said that I wanted to say hello, the waitress said Romaine would come to our table soon - half an hour went by and she never came, so we asked again and the waitress said Romaine would be right there and despite being in the restaurant 3.5 hours she never came by once. We ate at several other restaurants during our time in Zermatt where we saw other guests celebrating birthdays and the hosts at the restaurant welcomed them with a complementary drink which is a really nice gesture. Definitely don’t come here if you’re celebrating a special occasion. The cocktails were horrible (tasted like they just poured a bunch of cheap store bought mixer) and the food was mediocre at best. Dinner service was ridiculously slow - 3.5 hours for the course menu and we rushed the desert course and check so it would have been over 4 hours long if we hadn’t been in a hurry to leave by the end of it. Overall it was a pretty bad experience and was by far the worst dinner we had in Zermatt. Do not recommend!

Do you like to EAT PLASTIC? If yes, please come to this restaurant, they’ll bring you some dishes with pieces of it. Then, when your dinner is ruined, they’ll just say sorry and remove from the bill only the dish which contains plastic piece. For the rest you’ll pay full price of course. It doesn’t matter for them that your evening was ruined, or that you might already ate some other plastic (hope I found everything, but maybe there were more surprises!). And yeah, the rest of food was tasteless. Wasted money, do not recommend this place.

We spent 8 days in Zermatt, we visited at least 16 restaurants and that was the only one in the city that we left completely disappointed. We had a reservation, we arrived and within 5 minutes we already had the food chosen. It took 40 minutes to bring 3 tiny chicken skewers, about 8 mini baked chips that weren't even crispy, and a completely hard orange duck. That, with two glasses of wine, cost us 98 francs. It was the only place in the city that disappointed us, I left hungry and shocked by the poor quality of the food.

Coffee was good. Food cannot be assessed when the kitchen is closed. Music and ambience were pleasant

Great atmosphere, fabulous service all let down by disappointing food. The Bahn Mi has no pickled veg on the wrong bun, a curry with no flavour (& zero spice) & rice bowl very bland. Chai latte also is a tea bag.

We enjoyed our little meal here on Sat 18/11/23 @ 16:30pm. The cafe was already buzzing and pretty busy with friends meeting up, so it can be a little noisy. The ladies serving were very chirpy and friendly, and took our order with so much enthusiasm 😁. The pulled pork 9” buns were deliciously chockful of pork, veggies and crispy bits their special chili sauce was very good😋😋. The buns were nice and soft and we had no problems finishing the meal. The asian fusion flavours was a refreshing change. The hot ginger apple tea was good for digestion after the meal. A very pleasant experience and we hope to return a 2nd time before leaving Zermatt.

What a surprise, it's good, generous, colorful, healthy and we enjoyed it. The team is very nice and we had a pleasant time.

For a country where it usually feels like waiters are doing you a favour by allowing you to give them your hard-earned Francs, manud was a breath of fresh air. Accommodating, attentive and friendly, with a great view as well. Food is good but not amazing.

I am not joking here take this review seriously, this restaurant is the best in zermatt. (I ate at the top rated restaurant in zermat won’t name it because they were stillgood) but this place is incredible. Only place in Switzerland and France where ive gotten legitimately great service plus the food actually gave me goose bumps. The cocktails and wine were great too. I cannot fault it. And I paid A LOT more at another place for average food (they had nice service so feel bad).

Excellent vegan Tom kha curry soup and Asian noodle salad. The basil sprintz was great!

A delightful coffee shop in Zermatt. We enjoyed a flat white and hot chocolate whilst taking in the great views and atmosphere. Service was great, with a smile and as friendly as you can get. For a coffee lover, the coffee was great too.

Cool restaurant with very good and special dishes.

This was an unassuming yet wonderful dinner spot! The server, Marial, was outstanding and recommended the perfect dinner for us. We had lunch there the day before and it was so good we did dinner and it was perfect. Highly recommended!

It was so nice to eat Asian food after a long time 🥹 The staff are very friendly and have the sense to prepare chopsticks. I went in suddenly because it was pouring rain, but I came out with a very satisfying experience 🫶

Catastrophe!. Only English, incompetent service. Almost 45 minutes until 2 drinks for 3 people were on the table. The third thing, they weren't able to make Bailys coffee - even though it was on the menu. Never again!

Nice drink selection and a differ menu that had some interesting options. Kids lived the “Swiss” Cokes. The Rice bowl with Salmon was good.

Tom ka curry is a must try! Delicious 😋 Beer on tap is the best I've tried in Swiss.

Polite and efficient service and delicious food. If you seat outside, make sure you occupy the table of this restaurant instead of an adjacent one since they may be easy to confuse.

Quaint place to visit for a drink or quick bite. The staff were friendly and very accomodating when we visited. They are great with kids and pets and took time to interact with customers. It is a pleasant experience to visit them. Food wise, they have the usual spread of pasta but they don't really have pizzas and instead serve their own version - it is personal pan sized and not substantial enought for sharing.

Seems cheap with the price but actually the portion is small (but enough for me). The food is good!

We visited MANUD after an active morning walking in Zermatt, and we were looking for a tasty lunch. Luckily, MANUD was able to offer just that. The menu is small but offers a selection of tasty brunch and lunch offerings with an Asian flavour and style. They also offered a wide range of drinks, as well as snacks and cakes. We started off with edamame beans in a delicious coating, and crispy orange chicken bites—both were fabulous. For our main course, we both went for the Tom Kha curry with rice, which was very tasty and filling. For dessert, we shared a freshly made waffle with ice cream, as well as a couple of very boozy Irish coffees, which were great. The surroundings and service were equally as good as the food, and the bill was fairly reasonable too for the quality and quantity. If you’re looking for a tasty lunch in Zermatt that won’t break the bank, MANUD certainly should be top of your list to visit.

When we visited today, we first had to wait, then a young woman came who asked at least something, but they couldn't understand it because she only spoke English. She reported inside that we were waiting, after another 5 minutes we left the restaurant and there were no guests there anyway, just keep it up

Very nice place in the center of the city. All the staff was extremely nice and they seem like they put their heart into it. The interior is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I heard the staff speak fluently English, French and German.

Well, we learned during the “Slow time” - the month of May- in Zermatt that not a lot of restaurants are open since the community is preparing for the hectic summer rush. While struggling to find craft coffee and quality food, we stumbled upon MANUD. Not only was the coffee and food incredible and affordable, the staff won us over, specifically, Yon?. The question mark is because I’m unsure of the spelling of our server’s name, but he was extremely polite and helpful. This place was so good, we visited several times on our short stay here in Zermatt. Check them out, you won’t regret it.

There didn't appear to be vegetarian options on the menu, but the waitress was forthcoming with suggestions and I enjoyed a vegetarian curry.

I’ve been on exchange in Switzerland for 2 months and this is easily the best Asian food I’ve eaten! So authentic and delicious, which is something you really can’t say for most other Asian food in Switzerland!

Manud, located in Zermatt, is a must-visit restaurant for foodies and music lovers alike. Ramen only on Monday. Izakaya Wednesday to Sunday. Soup is a bit salty but I heard Swiss food is a bit salty. Other dishes I tried are not as salty. Servers are friendly. I came for dinner twice the server from previous night recognized me which feels good. Beef tongue in the rice is very nicely done. I was told it’s slowly cooked for a few hours. It’s got a crunchy texture which I like a lot. Pork in the sandwich also got a bit crunchy texture equally nice.

Although very welcoming and nice staff, the portions are very small expensive and far apart…

We tried the soup, the rice bowl and the gyozas. All of them were ok, but nothing special. The rice bowl had 90% of rice and very little ingredients on top. Even though, Zermatt is in general pricy, we normally receive the quality and quantity one pays for. I wouldnt come back and I wouldnt recommend. And when they didn’t give tickets when I pay the bill, I need requests, and the counter looks not happy.

We came for Ramen Monday (which I believe they do in the winter time) and it was fantastic! Two options with a bunch of add ons, a large drink list, very cute feel and service. Highly recommend!

Amazing vegetarian food in Zermatt. We orderd fried eggplant , some rice and pardon peppers. Very good food. Staff is amazing. Nice ambience. Good music. Perfect for the dinner. I will definitely come back if I visit zermatt again.

Nice coffee...The ramen was very fine...the decor is factory chic? We still had the salad and the RiceBowl. The service was a bit slow but very friendly. We had to wait a long time but we are on vacation... very central and nice to just have a coffee.

We ordered Vege Bahn Mi & waffle + ice cream. The Bahn Mi was really good! The waffle + ice cream was excellent too. The ginger lemon tea was also warming. Highly recommend to try it if you are in Zermatt
