Hotel Lindenhof, menu in Brienz (BE)

We booked the wellness room that came with a hot tub. The hot tub was prefilled but did not feel very clean. Secondly the room had an interesting interior but many aspects of the features was not working. For example, we had a bed that could turn, but it did not work anymore. Not a big deal but still did not leave a nice impression to have things in a room that were broken. Other than that, the amenities provided were minimal. For this price and for a wellness room I did expect a bit more in terms on amenities, amount of towels. There were no bath slippers either, which would have been nice to get in and out of the tub. The tub also lacked a manual so we had to figure it out a bit ourselves. All in all its a nice place, but for the price definitely not worth it.

Unfortunately there was mold in the bathroom. Service was poor because it didn't have the fondue. Cleanliness bad Breakfast bad, meatballs were rock hard. Chicken cold cuts were on the edge. Hardly any choice.

We spent one night in the Murmeli Suite with its own hot pot on the spacious terrace and enjoyed it to the fullest! A spaciously furnished room with shower/bath, a fabulous sleeping area and, as already mentioned, a very large terrace with a hot pot and a fantastic view over Lake Brienz down to Interlaken! The rich breakfast buffet is also worth mentioning positively. We will definitely visit the hotel and the suite again. The only complaint is the very high fee of CHF 20.00 for our dog.

Nice hotel less than 10 minutes walk from the station and with a view of the lake. The rooms are spacious and some have a balcony with Jacuzzi. The fault of this one is that even in rest mode it makes a noise which risks disturbing the most sensitive ears or light sleepers.

Man how do I even start! I got first of all an upgrade which gave me a direct view of the lake and the mountians! Stunning! I love the design details in the hotel! The bath was a very nice addition as well! And great service by the 2 woman that were there allowing me to get in early as well! And the guy later in the evening with good food tips because their restaurant is currently closed. Sadly too busy for parking so went with the standard pizza ^^ Thank you for the warm welcome, service and amazing views!!

Das Frühstück entspricht nicht dem heutigen Standard und Zimmerservice heisst essen an der Reception abholen. Es war als Überraschung mit Love Room Package gedacht und endete in einer Enttäuschung, nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Gratulation dem Webdesinger der Lindenhof-Homepage. Da sind richtig viele Eyecatcher drin. Vielleicht hätte man mal Geld für etwas neue Farbe und neue Möbel in den Zimmern investieren sollen. Von einem Familienzimmer erwarte ich im mindesten eine Mikrowelle und einen Wasserkocher in der Küche. Eine Kaffeemaschine und etwas Geschirr und Besteck wären auch nicht schlecht. Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen, dunkel und nicht ansprechend. Ausserdem extrem ringhörig. Das Personal war sehr unaufmerksam und informiert einem mit keinem Wort über die Möglichkeiten im Hotel oder rund um Brienz. Auch beim Verabschieden keine Wort des Nachfragens zum Aufenthalt. Um halb 5 Uhr Nachmittags einen Kaffee bestellen - OMG Kunde droht mit Arbeit und so hat man sich während dem ganzen Aufenthalt gefühlt. Und das "Beste" zum Schluss, der Burger im Restaurant für Fr. 26.00 so etwas schlechtes bekommt man nicht mal im McDonalds. So etwas liebloses und geschmackloses - unglaublich. Sprich alles in allem zu teuer und entspricht nie und nimmer den Erwartungen die man nach dem Besuch der Homepage hatte. Einzig die Lage und die Aussicht ist toll.

Bilder im Internet stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit nicht überein. Das Haus ist alt und die Zimmer bedürfen ? Okdringend einer Renovation. Essen i. O. aber Preis/Leistung mangelhaft. Morgenessen fein aber das 2 Gruppen Corona-Konzept hat nicht geklappt. Wir kommen leider nichtwieder...

Sehr altmodische, ungemütliches Zimmer und mit den vielen Dekorationen, welche offenbar sehr sporadisch gereinigt werden schon schmudlige Zimmer, Essen katastrophal, Personal unmotiviert, hier fehlt es an einer guten Führung. Beim Auschecken einfach Bezahlen an Reception, das wars. Kein Nachfragen über den Aufenthalt. Sehr unfreundlich.

Es war alles sehr gut und schön. Unser Zimmer mit Aussicht auf See war atemberaubend. Eigentlich hätte es 5 Sterne verdient. Leider war das Frühstück sehr enttäuschend. Um 9Uhr gab es bereits kein Zopf mehr und auf Gipfeli mussten wir auch seeehr lange warten. Da fehlt es ganz klar an Struktur und eine Führungskraft . Ich kann dieses Hotel trotzdem empfehlen, weil es wirklich wunderschön ist.Wir werden wieder kommen.:)))

Stayed here for two nights and could easily have stayed longer. The rooms have everything you need and ours looked straight out onto the lake. Beautiful! We didn’t eat here but had a few drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake again. Breakfast was a good mix of cereals, pastries, meats, fruit etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.
