Super fine food, friendly service and a fantastic view, all at fair prices.

Very tasty and inexpensive food. Very great atmosphere, especially on the terrace with a direct view of Lake Brienz. When the weather is bad, it's nice inside too. Be sure to reserve early, as it is always well attended.

Whenever we are passing through Brienz, we always stop at this bakery. Here you can get the best Haslikuchen🏆🥇😋 but it also has a large selection of different types of bread, sandwiches, cakes, cake pizza and fine desserts😋😋 There are a few tables for coffee with cake. But we never consumed it on site, as there is also fine coffee to go👍😁 The service is always very friendly.

2023 The Hilten was remodeled inside, unfortunately to the disadvantage. View, outdoor terrace and food still great……

We had the 4 course surprise menu. It was really worth the price. The chef is using local food and creates a fantastic meal with astonishing tastes due to the use of the different herbs in their own garden. The explanation from the waitress were interesting and accurate. The wine recommendations from the waitress were excellent. The place is worth a visit due to the view, the historic building and the fine food. Reservation is a must.

Nach einem perfekten Skitag, eine kleine Stärkung im Hilten. Die Meringues war ein Gedicht. Das Hiltenkaffee ist ein Muss.

Nach dem Lockdown erwacht die Gastronomie in der Schweiz. Wir hatten hier sehr leckeres Abendessen, gut sättigende Portionen, einen sehr freundlichen Service zu fairen Preisen genossen. Mit dem Blick über den See hat es gleich nochmal so gut geschmeckt. WLAN war vorhanden, die Online-Registrierung (wegen Corona) dadurch kein Problem. Kreditkartenzahlung war möglich. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder, wenn wir wieder in Brienz sind.

We booked the wellness room that came with a hot tub. The hot tub was prefilled but did not feel very clean. Secondly the room had an interesting interior but many aspects of the features was not working. For example, we had a bed that could turn, but it did not work anymore. Not a big deal but still did not leave a nice impression to have things in a room that were broken. Other than that, the amenities provided were minimal. For this price and for a wellness room I did expect a bit more in terms on amenities, amount of towels. There were no bath slippers either, which would have been nice to get in and out of the tub. The tub also lacked a manual so we had to figure it out a bit ourselves. All in all its a nice place, but for the price definitely not worth it.

Just randomly dropped by on a very rainy Sunday. Delighted by the impeccable service, friendliness of the staff and high quality food. We will be back very soon!
