Hotel Mirabeau in Zermatt

Absolutely not satisfied with the room. There is difference in room size/layout shown on website vs the one you get in reality. Not worth the room tarrif they charge.

During my recent stay at Hotel Le Mirabeau in Zermatt, I was impressed by several aspects of the hotel that contributed to an overall positive experience, with one notable exception. First of all I would like to highlight the structure of the room, which was well thought out and extremely pleasant, providing all the comforts and amenities for a relaxing stay. In addition, the reception at reception was particularly warm, with a team ready to help and make the arrival and stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel's breakfast also deserves praise, with a variety of quality options that cater to different tastes and preferences, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. This aspect of the service really meets expectations for an establishment of its category. However, I unfortunately have to report a significantly less positive experience with the breakfast service team. Despite the quality of the breakfast itself, the interaction with the team was characterized by a lack of warmth, receptivity, patience and friendliness. The rudeness in the service was notable and unfortunately negatively impacted the experience, which contrasts sharply with the warm welcome experienced in other areas of the hotel. It is important to me that this review reflects both the strengths and areas for improvement. While Hotel Le Mirabeau shines in many aspects and offers a comfortable and welcoming base in Zermatt, the negative experience with the breakfast service team should not be ignored. I hope this feedback is seen as an opportunity for the hotel to evaluate and improve this aspect of service to ensure future guests enjoy consistently positive experiences across all interactions.

Très bel hôtel, bien situé. Les employés sont très accueillants et serviables. Le restaurant reste un grand point d'amélioration pour cette nouvelle équipe, garnitures répétitives et plats souvent trop secs, poissons et viandes. Très dommage pour la sauce à salade du buffet qui est industrielle. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très bien et délicieux. Grand choix et jus d'orange frais pressé sans supplément. Je conseille cet établissement mais conseille à la direction de corriger quelques points au niveau du restaurant. Un grand merci à toute votre sympathique équipe.

Cet hôtel très bien placé au centre du village à 200m. de la gare, avec un très très gros potentiel.hôtel classé 4 étoiles mais à mon goût plutôt un bon 3 étoiles, manque un gros rafraîchissement,toujours au goût des années 80.quant à la qualité de la cuisine il n y a rien à dire mais il faut absolument changer les couverts,très délavés et abîmés.Centre SPA et sa piscine très bien, par contre la salle de sport avec ses trois appareils...mon cagibi est plus grand.je recommande pour son emplacement et équipements ainsi que sa cuisine. Mal wieder ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt gewesen! Sensationelle Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, perfekte Location, super Küche!! Kann es kaum abwarten wieder zu kommen!!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem aufmerksamen Team, sehr nett und immer sehr hilfsbereit. Schönes Zimmer mit Aussicht und der Pool und die Wellnesseinrichtungen sind von hoher Qualität. Ich kann dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen.

J'ai passé 2 nuits en solo en semaine au Mirabeau et tout était parfait. En plus du tarif attractif, j'ai bénéficié d'un upgrade de chambre. Ma chambre avait un balcon avec une belle vue et une baignoire. Simple mais bien décorée et propre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est un des meilleurs restaurants dans lequel j'ai mangé. La nourriture est fine et les plats sont délicieux. Le personnel est sympathique et très professionnel. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est top à 5 minutes à pied de la gare et 10 minutes du départ du funi sunnegga. Le spa est très chouette. Allez-y les yeux fermés.

Avec ma petite amie nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à l'hôtel Mirabeau. A notre arrivée nous avons eu la surprise d'être surclassé gratuitement dans une chambre "deluxe" avec vue sur le Cervin. La chambre était splendide, l'accueil également. Le côté SPA fonctionne bien malgré le Covid, un peu d'attente selon l'heure de la journée. L'hôtel est bien placé mais pas particulièrement beau de l'extérieur. Le gros problème pendant ce séjour a été la nourriture. En effet, les seuls restaurants ouverts sont ceux des hôtels et on remarque bien qu'ils ne savent pas gérer autant de mangeurs... Le premier soir, nous avions réservé à 19h et nous avons du attendre 1h15 devant la porte de l'hôtel ( 1 boisson offerte) avant de pouvoir manger ( nourriture correct). Le deuxième soir, même problème, 45 minutes d'attente avant de pouvoir rentrer dans le restaurant alors que nous avions réservé. Sans parler des 1h d'attente entre chaque plats pour des choses simples ( croque-monsieur) et un serveur énervé de recevoir nos remarques. Après une journée de ski, on veut un bon repas servi vite pour se coucher tôt et la c'était l'inverse. Lors du checkout nous avons été expédié au plus vite sans pouvoir donner notre avis..Je déconseille!

Unglaublich schöne Sicht aus der Junior Suite auf das Matterhorn. Alles sehr sauber und hygienisch. Wellnessbereich sehr schön gemacht und eine entspannende Ruhezone. Das Essen in Maries Deli hervorragend. Hummer mit Spaghetti Aglio i Oglio😍🤤 gleich 2 Portionen gegessen. Unfassbar lecker. Das Personal super professionell und super freundlich! Einfach nicht vergessen: Zermatt ist Autofreie Zone.

Hotel spa a quelques mn de la gare .accès centre ville très simple.personnel attentif

Unser Kind hat eine Erdnussallergie mit Anaphylaxie. Wir haben vorgängig abgeklärt, ob es keine offene Erdnüsse während unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel hat. Es wurde uns bestätigt, dass sie darauf achten würden. Leider war dem nicht so. Am Frühstücksbuffet stand eine Schüssel offene Erdnüsse direkt neben den aufgeschnittenen Früchten, Käse und dem Fleisch. Da es für unser Kind lebensbedrohlich ist, waren wir sehr schockiert und ohnmächtig. Wir empfehlen keinem Allergiker in diesem Hotel zu verweilen, weil man sich nicht auf Abmachungen verlassen kann. Die zwei Sterne bekommt das Hotel für den wunderbaren Pool und das sehr schöne und grosse Zimmer.

Die gastfreundlichen Mitarbeiter sind außerordentlich freundlich. Der Spa Bereich ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Suite war nichts spezielles aber ok. Für die Sicht zum Matterhorn musste man schon ganzbin die Ecke stehen auf dem Balkon. Essen war sehr gut, aber sollte es auch bei diesen Preisen. Im grossen und ganzen empfehlenswert

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber, mit einer tollen Aussicht. Besonders möchten wir uns beim Herrn bedanken, welcher uns das Wochenende im Restaurant bedient hat und stets sehr freundlich war. Vielen Dank nochmals für die kleine Geburtstagsüberraschung!

Sehr gutes Hotel Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mir persönlich sehr gefallen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Die Gastfreundschaft im Mirabeau Hotel ist unschlagbar. Alle Mitarbeiter waren extrem freundliche und zuvorkommend. Auch kleinere Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und organisiert. Gemeinsam mit meiner Partnerin hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen und tollen Aufenthalt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Frühstuck am morgen abwechslungsreich. Sehr gerne können wir dieses Hotel an toller Lage in Zermatt weiterempfehlen.

Ein tolles Hotel sehr nahe am Bahnhof Zermatt. Der Transfer vom Bahnhof zum Hotel und zurück ist inklusive. Das Essen im Hotel ist gut und auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig. Das Hallenbad ist ziemlich gross und war auch während der Coronazeit offen. Es gibt auch einen Saunabereich. Verblüfft hat uns, dass für unsere 1-jährige Tochter auch ein kleiner Bademantel im Schrank bereit war. ☺️ Die Saunas sind zwar nicht so hoch geheizt. Auch in Zimmer war es die erste Nacht eher etwas kalt. Das Personal ist freundlich und gibt nett Auskunft, vor allem das Servicepersonal im Restaurant. Obwohl Lockdown im Wallis war, konnte als Hotelgast am Abend im Hotel gegessen werden. Check-out ist erst um 11:30 Uhr, somit konnte der letzte Tag angenehm gestartet werden.

Hotel ist super nah gelegen am Bahnhof Zermatt. Wir haben unser Auto in Täsch parkiert und sind mit dem Zug nach Zermatt. Hotel Personal ist freundlich. Frühstück könnten beim Brot etwas schärfere Brotmesser liegen. Abendessen in Marie's Deli ist ganz nett gemacht. Vieles kommt aus Weck Einmachgläsern und alle Hygiene Konzepte werden eingehalten. Duschen ist ein Kunststück wenn man einen Duschvorhang hat muss man aufpassen das nicht alles überschwemmt. Pool und Whirlpool sind gut. Sauna und Spa waren immer voll. Wir waren unter der Woche in Zermatt und es war sehr angenehm alles war nicht so voll.

Wir waren positiv überrascht von der Gastfreundlichkeit. Gutes Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis und gute Lage. Das Zimmer war in der Ordnung (Standard Zimmer). Mit Saunabereich und Schwimmbad waren wir, so weit zufrieden.

Family business et cela se sent sur toute la chaîne de valeur de l'hôtel. L'accueil est cordial et précis, les chambres de bon goût et très propres, la piscine couverte est très belle (on peut bien y nager) ainsi que le jacuzzi. Le sauna et le hammam sont grands et très agréables. Le buffet petit-déjeuner est copieux et les produits de qualité. Cette qualité se retrouve lors des repas, très bien préparés avec des plats bien savoureux. Le service est parfait : attentif, rapide et sympathique (merci à Laura et son collègue d'Ischia). Voilà, je ne peux que recommander chaudement cet hôtel et j'y retournerai.

Soweit ganz in Ordnung. Man wird zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient... Man kann sich auf jeden Fall gut erholen hier. Etwas kritisch muss das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angesehen werden, was in ganz Zermatt nicht gut ist. Alles ist überteuert: Bergbahntickets, Speisen in den Bergrestaurants und im Dorf. Unanständig überteuert.... Kein Wunder machen Schweizer keine Ferien in Zermatt... Schade hat man immer noch nicht gelernt, dass der internationale Tourismus nicht der einzige ist..

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und das Personal ist immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück is ausgezeichnet, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir werden nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder dieses Hotel besuchen, am liebsten mehr als eine Woche nächstes Mal:-)

It really is a magical place! With warm hosts and yummy food. Zermatt is generally a bit touristy but Marie and Francis make you feel at home and you can enjoy the stunning souroundings! We will come back gladly!

Habitaciones sencillas, elegantes, de mucho espacio y con toda la lencería de primera calidad, servicio asombroso por parte de cada miembro del personal, spa y piscina temperada para los pasajeros también por sobre las espectativas de un spa. Me voy a detener en el restaurante para opinar más largo, ya que al considerarme una persona Sibarita, debo decir, que me impresionó de una grata manera este lugar. Creo que fue la cena más deliciosa que he probado hasta el día de hoy en un restaurante, la cena que era parte de la media pensión de la habitación venía nada más que con 5 platos, los cuales estaban cada uno de ellos excelentemente presentados, en las proporciones y con las cantidades adecuadas para no dejarte con la sensación de que fue poco ni para dejarte satisfecho y no poder seguir continuando con los siguientes. La mezcla de los sabores estaba tan bien matizada y perfectamente armónica, sabores vanguardistas que no ponían énfasis en sabores tradicionales, se atrevían a desafiar lo conocido y lograban con éxito el desafío, el punto de cocción de tanto carnes, salsas, vegetales, todo estaba en su punto de máximo sabor logrando mezclas sencillamente PERFECTA. Para acompañar, una carta con una considerable cantidad de variedades tanto de cepas, como de lugar de origen, con buenos vinos rojos, tintos, rosé y espumantes provenientes del mundo, y por supuesto que con un servicio de excelencia. Que sorpresa nos llevamos aquí, volvería a ir 100 veces, lo recomiendo 300% me voy MARAVILLADA, con una de las mejores experiencias que un hotel me ha entregado. Gracias Mirabeau.

Durchzogenes Wochenende Wir waren mit der Familie von 26-28.08.2019 zu Gast Nach der freundlichen Begrüssung an der Reception, überraschte man uns mit einem Zimmerupgrade. Nachdem wir die Zimmerkarten bekommen haben, konnten wir die Zimmer besichtigen ( das Gepäck wurde uns aufs zimmer gebracht -> Wartezeit ca 20 Minuten ) wir hatten 3 Gleiche Zimmer mit Matterhornblick, die Zimmer waren Gross, mit Balkon und sehr schön eingerichtet. ( PLUS SEHR SAUBER ) Minibar war gefüllt und die Preise waren durchschnittlich. Betten waren sehr bequem, ausserdem hatte es noch zusätzliche Kissen. Am nächsten Morgen das Frühstücksbuffet war schön aufgedeckt und es hatte eine schöne Auswahl. Die Kelner waren alle Nett und zuvorkommend. Am Samstag Nachmittag wollten wir den Grossen Spabereich nutzen, dort der Erste Dämpfer: Das Schwimmbad war zwar offen, jedoch von den 4 ( gefundenen ) Saunen war nur eine in Betrieb. Alle anderen hätte man zuerst bei der Reception anfragen müssen um diese "einzuschalten". Für ein Hotel dieser Klasse ist das für mich nicht Nachvollziebar. Zum Abendessen blieben wir dann im Hotel. Die Auszeichnungen beim Hoteleingang liessen mich eine Top Küche erwarten. Ich fasse das mal Kurz: - a la carte war bei uns schlichtweg nicht möglich weil es KEINE KARTE gibt! ( wir hatten die auswahl zwischen Menu oder 4 verschidenen anderen Gerichten -> ich entschied mich für das Filet ) - Spanischer Wein auf der Weinkarte -> Fehlanzeige - Beim Hauptgang angekommen musste das Gericht einmal zurück genommen werden das das Filet durchgebraten und kalt war ( Bestellt wurde es zwischen Blutig und Medium ) - Die Pommes waren meine Meinung nach ein Fertigprodukt. - 5 der 6 Gerichte auf unserem Tisch waren nur durchschnittlich warm - Dessert's wie Kuchen oder andere Schleckereien -> Fehlanzeige - Die Preise waren eher Grosszügig Für den Verpatzten Hauptgang wurden wir vom Personal wirklich Herzlich entschuldigt und es wurde uns auch einen Drink nach dem Essen offeriert. Jedoch hat diese Erfahrung unser Wochenende doch stark getrübt. Ich würde das Hotel zur Übernachtung und zum Verweilen auf dem Zimmer weiterempfehlen, das Restaurant ist meinen Erwartungen ganz klar nicht gerecht geworden. Der Spa-Bereich wäre Okey, wenn man sich nicht extra für einen Saunagang "anmelden" müsste

Tolles Haus, wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof Zermatt entfernt. Grosses wunderschönes Dachzimmer mit Terrasse und Matterhorn Sicht. Essen sowohl im Marie‘s Deli wie das Frühstück sehr lecker und auch der Service lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig.

Lovely hotel, spa, service. The room was very very nice, and the breakfast excellent!

Lovely hotel with a little bit of Matterhorn view. We booked 3 person room and the Room is very - very large. It has an outdoor area too, which we could enjoy a nice weather outside the room. Bathroom is the best, it has everything you’d want. Breakfast lines offer many varieties, including cold cut, omelet, sausages, cornflakes, bread, and many other breakfast typical menu. But all in all, they serve with good quality.

Very friendly people, the restaurant has very good and delicious food, a bit expensive though. If you are looking for a very charming hotel this one is ideal. Just don't give 5 stars as the swimming pool had cold water.

Excelente. Adorei a experiência em Zermatt, um lugar de uma beleza rara que jamais tinha imaginado que exiatisse. Tudo na cidade tem uma organização própria e funciona para o bem estar de todos. isso serve tambem para o Mirabeau onde os serviços prestados visam agradar os clientes. Vi isto no esforço deles em atender pessoas de nacionalidades diversas, mas todos saem com sorriso no rosto.

L'Hôtel Mirabeau et l'Alpine Résidence son des établissements hyper agréable, toujours aussi familiale dans le concept. Le petit plus, c'est le nouveau concept de Marie's deli Zermatt qu'il faut vraiment tester... c'est une délicatesse, un coin chaleureux et repartir avec sa petite valise pique-nique qui sera très agréable à utiliser à ma prochaine sortie en moto à bon entendeur

This hotel is a very magical place as they say. I only stayed on day but it was enough to enjoy all the beauty in it. I enjoyed my clean and comfy room, very big to be an individual room. The bathroom was very functional and the bed also very comfortable. In the room you find reading light, bluetooth mini box, fridge, tv, hot water boiler, and so much more...! Perhaps I did not need all of these things, but for the price you pay, it is nice to get all these options. I also enjoyed the wellness and Spa and swimming pool, which was very nice and clean. Breakfast is just amazing, there is a big variety of choice, staff very friendly and attentive. Facilities and restaurants very nice, compared to the swiss standards and as well to the level of the restaurants in the area. I would go back!

Gezellig hotel. Goede ligging dichtbij station en centrum, doch zeer rustig gelegen. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Eigenaars zijn zeer begaan met hun hotel en de gasten. 2 restaurants, totaal verschillend, maar beide zeer lekker en verzorgd. Alpine junior suite is een comfortabele, ruime, mooie kamer, met zeer mooie badkamer. (misschien jammer dat douche wat klein uitvalt).

Our stay at The Mirabeau was flawless. The interior design of the entire hotel including the bedroom were perfect. We had an incredible view and absolutely loved our room. The attention to detail was genuinely impressive. We also found noteworthy the wellness, spa, sauna and swimming pools amenities, all of which you would expect to see in a five stars resort. No personal request ever seemed difficult: all the staff were professional, welcoming, kind and hospitable. All the meals and beverages we experienced at the hotel were excellent. We learned that the majoritity of hotel Mirabeau clientele come back year after year likewise we have already planned our next stay there but in winter. Barel and Anais

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einer entspannenden Atmosphäre. Die Suite war tipptopp, das leckere Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine ansprechende Auswahl. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders erwähnen sollte man die Bar, mit einem hoch motiviertem und angenehmen Bar Keeper, der seine excellente Weinauswahl zu präsentieren wusste! Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)
