Hotel Restaurant Fiescherblick in Grindelwald

We stayed in the double panoramic sunset room and had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and had incredible views. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff and managers are friendly and incredibly helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again! Some suggestions I would make to make the stay even better is to provide a proper coffee machine for the room (instead of the kettle with the instant coffee mix) and a makeup mirror with a light for the ladies.

A beautiful hotel with an impressive restaurant. The hotel opened in 2022 and was previously completely renovated. The rooms are stylish and lovingly furnished and very clean. On the first floor there is a small but nice spa with a beautiful view. If you are a guest at the hotel, a visit to the in-house restaurant Fiescherblick (reservation recommended) is a must! You can choose between different numbers of courses and, depending on your preference, have a wine or juice accompaniment. Which is highly recommended. The food is simply a dream and a huge experience! At this point a big compliment to the two owners and the entire young team. You live hospitality and you make you feel completely welcome and in good hands. Thank you for the lovely stay with you.

The hotel has been recently refurbished with great taste. Rooms are comfortable and the SPA after a skiing day is a real treat. Lars Matthias and the entire staff are professional, polite and go the extra mile to make the guests feel like home. A special note to the restaurant: outstanding.

A smiling welcome, photos consistent with reality, telephone responsiveness to obtain details on the location, access, parking and a few details which were very pleasant. Quality advice to perfect your stay, spontaneous help to reserve restaurants or train tickets or packages, at no additional cost and even a spontaneous upgrade. By far the best hotel we stayed in during our 2-week stay in Switzerland in May 2023. The view from the room was absolutely stunning with view of the church and mountains behind. Clean, simple and spacious room with basic yet adequate amenities. We had their tasting menu at the restaurant and the food was simply amazing. The ingredients they used were fresh produce sourced locally. One of the best dining experiences we have had and food was on par if not superior to many Michellin-starred restaurants we have been to. Wanted to go to the restaurant again the next night but unfortunately their kitchen was closed. 10 months late to post but we’d like to take this opportunity to thank Matthias and Lars for their hospitality. Keep up the good work and standards. Hope we can visit again soon.

We had a very memorable and comfortable stay at Hotel Fiescherblick . The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. (Not too soft or too firm). The staff is very helpful and kind and we appreciated their suggestions on our rainy day! Also their commitment to sustainability is really admirable. ( Who needs bottled water when you have fresh filtered alpine water at your tap??) we also recommend their restaurant - we ate their on a whim and were so glad !

We stayed at the Fiescherblick for 2 nights and felt comfortable from A to Z. Even with the recommended multi-course event in the evening, everything was just right. We are already looking forward to our next visit and to the great hosts and their team.

My daughter and I had a wonderful dinner! The food and wine pairings were exceptional, and the service provided by Lars and the team exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a great two night stay here recently. We took the train to Grindelwald and walked to the hotel, though the bus in town is free and runs right to the hotel in minutes. The breakfast was very nice and everything about the room was great. The staff was young, efficient, friendly, and helpful. We will stay here if we return to Grindelwald

Our visit to the Fiescherblick restaurant, which was inspired by a recommendation in the NZZ, took place on a Wednesday evening and left a lasting impression. The tasteful furnishings of the restaurant harmoniously combine modern accents with the historical architecture. The culinary concept of the house is based on a fixed menu from which guests can choose between 3, 4 or 6 courses - although the entire table must choose the same number of courses. We chose the six-course menu, which to our surprise and delight was expanded to a total of 10 courses with three amuse-bouches, a sorbet and friandises. Every course exceeded our expectations with its quality and creativity. The dessert is particularly noteworthy: a visually inconspicuous but tastefully exceptional creation made of cream, cherry and pistachio marzipan, hidden under a milk chip. The service was characterized by friendliness and efficiency, only the bill took a while to arrive. Despite the high price of 154 CHF for the six-course menu, we found this to be appropriate for the quality and experience offered. Only the music selection of the 80s hits didn't quite suit our taste; Jazzy lounge music would have suited the ambience better. Future guests should be prepared to stay longer - for our impatient teenagers the three and a half hours were at the limit of what was reasonable. Overall, the Fiescherblick restaurant offers an unforgettable culinary experience that we are happy to recommend.

Incredible place! It has been completely renovated in 2022 and the brothers owning it have done an incredible job! The rooms and overall facilities are super nice and the restaurant is for good reasons rated as the best in the area! A nice spa area with a panoramic sauna and a hot outdoor onsen pool are perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains. We can absolutely recommend staying here!!!
