We were there twice: outside when the weather was nice and inside when the weather was very moderate. Fine little dishes.

Like in a fairy tale, beautifully located, very cozy, just as you would imagine a hut to be. A very sweet and lovely landlady. The home-baked cake is great and the coffee specialties mmmh - everything is very tasty 😋 Unfortunately, we only discovered the hut at the end of our vacation. We are already looking forward to the next time.

This view 😍 is really beautiful and the staff is exemplary polite and open. The food was really delicious. Only the lamps on the ceiling ruin the ambience a bit. I would still like to come back there 🥰🥰

I live in Switzerland and I cycle, I found this nice restaurant by coincidence coming down from Grosse Scheidegg last summer. I was surprised by the attention, the small details, how well prepared the food was, the view of the place. It was perfect. The restaurants near the mountain passes are simple and offer almost always the same thing, this was not the case. Recommended!

This wonderfully located pub is located away from the hustle and bustle of Grindelwald. Very nice hostess and friendly staff. The moss soup that I was able to enjoy was a dream, and the cake with the fine coffee at the end was a treat to take off. Thank you for the great experience at the Ischboden Hut, I'll be back. If you find yourself coming down from Grosse Scheidegg, you'd be crazy not to stop here. It's stunning and the refreshments and service are swisstastic!

A must stop on the way up the hill. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend the Alpine Milkshake and the cheese platter is excellent.

Very lovingly furnished 🫶🌞.. The food and the service are GREAT..... The pictures speak for themselves... The visit to the Alpine Bird Park... right next door was also great... wonderful animals that could no longer live on their own find a home there...

The best pies in Grindelwald! We've tried several of their homemade fruit pies and they're so yummy! Add a friendly service and fair prices and it's just a perfect result. Views are wonderful and we can't wait to be back. After all it's just a small, gentle hike from the final bus stop at the end of the valley. Our kids loved it!

Super cute little chalet with the most adorable two ladies and yummy food! Take the Spätzle and you won’t be disappointed! Also great view!

We came across Ischboden Hütte on our way back from Grosse Scheidegg and decided to stop for a snack. We ended up sitting in the sun and enjoying the view and the atmosphere for much longer than planned cause what a gem this place is! Lovely staff, amazing cakes and the view, oh the mesmerising view… you need to stop there, and also don’t forget to stop by the Alpenvogelpark, especially if you love Owls!

A perfect gem of a alpine restaurant, off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. The homemade Hüttespätzli was delicious 😋 and reasonably priced for Switzerland. The service was excellent.

A fantastic, cozy place with a magnificent view invites you to linger. Alpine hut designed with attention to detail and super friendly people who work there. Homemade cake, homemade soup with homemade bread are a real treat. We were there with our Labrador Retriever, who was also ❤️ very welcome. Thank you for letting us be there.

. After a great hike with 2 Swiss women who took us with them, we came to the Ischbodenhütte. . Very nice service and great food with a great view. A calm atmosphere. . We can only recommend everyone to hike to the Ischbodenhütte and stop off. That price-performance ratio is right 😀

Cute little cafe&restaurant with very tasty homemade juice and special local drinks. You must try the ‚Rote Nase‘, sooo yummy, a mix between dessert and cocktail. Location is great with an awesome view to Grindelwald.

This little Hütte has great freshly made Kuchen, milkshakes and several nice lunch dishes. What makes this little gem really stand out is the epic terrace with unforgettable views of the mountains. It is next to the Alpvogelpark and perfect to combine. The walk from Hotel Wetterhorn took about 30 minutes uphill, following the same road the bus takes. Behind Wetterhorn to the left is a small path that avoids the road.

Great and extremely friendly service Luzia is a born host and her team is in no way inferior! We are already looking forward to the next visit 2019-02 A year later...it's like coming home...many thanks to Luzia It was really great again, gladly again! 2020-02

Cheese slices simple and good and prepared with love, even our Labrador found his water ration, great view. We'd love to come by again.

Super charming hostesses. The hut is incredibly lovingly furnished and the view is uniquely beautiful. The house specialty “Chässchnitte” (of course with a glass of white wine) is highly recommended. The bread and cakes, which are also homemade, are fantastic. Luzia, you're lucky! By the way: Right opposite the bus stop is the Alpvogelpark, which is worth seeing.
