The service was very courteous and served us very well. Will come again. Didn't have a room, so no review.

If you are not a Swiss citizen speaking Swiss German, I recommend avoiding this place. There is a very unfriendly staff and their attitude will let you know you are just a third world citizen, unworthy of their interest in you. Overpriced, but cheap looking room that wouldn't cost more than 30 euros/night in another country. Really strange experience...

Well located hotel, unfortunately with not friendly, even aggressive staff, clean but dated room and basic breakfast. I won't go back there.

The Restaurant Sternen was recommended to us after our stay at the Alpamare. We found it straight away and there were parking spaces behind the house. The furnishings are classic and in top condition. The menu offers traditional meals.

A place that I have been going to with groups for many years. It is recommended.

The food (starter, main course and dessert) - as always - tasted wonderful. The table was beautifully set, the service was excellent, all 11 people could eat together; tip top everything. Very good price-performance ratio Thank you very much

Cozy village restaurant, fine food at fair prices

Underrated... We ended up in the star by chance. The first impression certainly doesn't invite you to linger. If you take a closer look, you can see that everything is very clean and has been renovated. The toilet is sparkling clean and the dining room looks very tidy. The older lady (landlady?) in service is very charming. The food is hearty and no one leaves hungry. We were very satisfied and if you want chic, you should go somewhere else.

A home-style restaurant with delicious food and moderate prices. The restaurant is easy to reach and is in a great location, 3 minutes from the train station. Yes, it has stairs but you can see that from the outside and if you come with a stroller you have to carry it up. You see what you get. Delicious food and generous portions.

Would give ZERO stars for stars. Not suitable for strollers at all. Had to drag the stroller up the stairs. The little one screamed because she was hungry & the staff made us wait for 10 minutes even though there was almost nothing going on. Just a few regulars enjoying a glass of beer and drinking beer. As an exception, we were able to pay our bill with the card (otherwise you can only pay from 10.-). They don't know Twint there. We didn't have any cash with us. We had to pressure the staff to let us pay. The service employee was also quite rude and unfriendly. I can't recommend it.

Very unfriendly staff in the restaurant, we were seated for 10 minutes and no one served us. When I wanted to pay I wasn't allowed to pay with a card. I said I didn't have any cash with me. I said otherwise the consumption is free. You can only pay with a card if you spend 10 francs or more, the consumption was 8.70. Where do they live in the restaurant stars behind the moon. I've been there twice now, the first and the last time. They just drive all the customers crazy like that. I'll never, ever go there again, I'd rather go to the kebab shop next door. How can you do business like that? You will be insulted by the regular guests if you want to pay with cards. The payment methods in the hotel are out of the ordinary. Just conclude that is the best.

Very very unfriendly reception. But clean / friendly rooms

Incredibly unfriendly reception, we turned around in the entrance area and finally went to the Hotel Schiff in Pfäffikon. It is incomprehensible to me that business can even be done in this way.

The food was good, but at lunchtime there is an extremely small menu. I asked for vegetarian food, apart from salad and vegetables there was nothing. There was also no offer for children apart from fries. The toilet facilities were very clean and well maintained. But for a non-meat eater there is no second choice.
