We have the bakery or Visited the café on a Sunday. It was very busy but still had space. The selection of sandwiches and baked goods was very good.

The woman who served was extremely unfriendly and incompetent (took ages to type and made a few mistakes). That would have been okay, but she didn't want to give the children a coloring book. She said they weren't for takeaway (even though we had consumed some). It didn't occur to her to offer the booklet to the two children during our visit. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Recently I spontaneously had tea and corn croissants there in the morning and it was very nice and I was served by a very friendly, cheerful woman. It was Thursday last week. Come back. Also at the counter, everyone was very friendly and personable. Top.

The very best “canapes” in Switzerland! Celery & tuna rich & aesthetically topped measured 3.5cm high! Also the other range 1A. I'd love to chume again :-)

Unfortunately, I can no longer find the vermicelles with cherry on offer, which we all liked. It is unfortunate that this product has been discontinued despite its great popularity range was taken.

🍰🍞 Enjoyable start to the day in Dübendorf! 🌞 Today I would like to tell you about my discovery of an absolutely charming pastry shop that I found in Dübendorf. 📍 With a wide selection of delicious cakes and bread variations, she has taken my heart by storm! ❤️ In addition to the tempting sweet treats that adorn the counter, I was particularly impressed by the Bircher muesli in this pastry shop. 🥣 I enjoyed it on the cozy terrace and enjoyed the morning to the fullest. 🌿 The fresh ingredients and the perfect balance of flavors really convinced me! I wasn't just impressed by the food, but also by the extremely friendly staff. 🤗 This pastry shop is definitely a real insider tip for all connoisseurs and gourmets in Dübendorf! 🌟

The waitress was very unmotivated and didn't feel like wrapping the goods for me as a gift. Unfortunately, the staff has always been a bit unmotivated, but yesterday everything was exceeded. After many years, this was my last time at Hotz.

The best croissants there are. A traditional bakery, of the highest quality and passion.

The staff doesn't have enough patience for the service. A very unpleasant experience, we wanted to choose more things but the employee had no patience as the bar was half empty and there was no one behind us to wait. I definitely wouldn't come back.

This place has really disrespectful employees they say really mean stuff about You I don't recommend this place

I can only recommend Bakery Hotz AG. Great quality even for large orders. And Ms. Regula Eichenberger, the branch manager, is simply TOP, uncomplicated and very friendly. :) Keep it up. Kind regards from the Food Truck Pfister

Great service and the best wine

Very disappointed! We biked to Holz with my dauther in a warm end of spring day. Both of us were in mood for a cold drink, so I picked up a ginger smoothie and she chose a cold chocolate milk from the shelf, paid for it and found an empty table in the back yard. When we got comfortable, a waitress came to our table and asked us to leave telling drinks from shelf are for take away. I could understand if the cold drinks were not overprice, but they were definitely more expensive compared to supermarket. I had to order a coffee, which I didn't want to drink, just to secure ourselves the table and not make our morning ride an embarrassing experience for my daughter . Never will go there again !

My “Hausbeck” On Sundays I buy braids (excellent!) Lye peaks 🥐 (tasty) Durum wheat rolls 🥖 (practical) I cut them into strips and then we dip them in the soft-boiled egg 🥚 During the week, corn rolls, eternal Emil and St.Galler are my favorites. I rarely have a ☕️ or small breakfast on site in the café.

Nice, nice coffee with a garden. Good selection, sandwiches or patisseries are always fresh and you can pick them up at the counter and enjoy them in your coffee. There are enough parking spaces around the coffee shop.

I was in the Marktkafe Dübendorf and no one served me even though the cafe was only moderately full. I had to wait 15 minutes and then no one even apologized when I wanted to clarify

Nice staff, good selection and dogs allowed, at least outside where I sat. Coffee with a separate milk jug and a glass of water included, as it should be everywhere. Thanks! 👍

Hello “Millions Beck”! Could you open another shop and then simply not open it on Sunday (not on Whit Monday either!)? Why should you still support the overpriced Hotz? If the store in Stettbach isn't profitable for you, just close it!!!! This area needs more sensible businesses and friendlier staff!

Unfortunately not highly recommended, I had breakfast there several times. Staff are not very motivated, are not able to get a 3-minute egg, after complaining, the statement: "yes, I know, the egg timer is defective" ..... Well, thank you very much for the information, an expression of regret, none and also charged for the hard-boiled eggs instead of taking them back and making a second attempt.

I tried the apricot cake which unfortunately had very few apricots in the dough... The cake was very simple with a good pastry and a very soft and not too sweet neutral filling and a few pieces of fruit every now and then. It was good but I wouldn't buy it again.

Zero stars. Wanted to order a personalized cake for my brother's 30th birthday. Picture sent with request that it should be with black icing and decorated in white because they didn't have any gold ones. And it should be written in cursive script. I didn't hear anything after that and this is the end result. In the shop they told me the cake was made according to the description and they didn't respond to my concerns. Don't you have all the colors on offer? And what about the aesthetics? Everyone can see how horrible the cake looks. If they had called me beforehand and told me they couldn't make it the way I ordered it, we could all have saved ourselves the hassle! I didn't take the cake with me. I'm just extremely disappointed and now have to improvise the day before my birthday.

Stopped in for two and ordered two loaves, they were fattening/doughy, just barely edible, but they weren't really tasty, service was borderline friendly, coffee at 5.15 was actually overpriced for a small town.

An oasis of comfort in sterile Stettbach. Excellent baked goods and fine café latte or cappuccino. Very friendly service despite the early hour. We'd love to come back.

Very fine cafe. The banana split tasted very good. Price is more on the upper level. I didn't notice any of the rude service as some people write here. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I'd love to come back

I think the Hotz products are very good but the service here in Dübendorf is very unfriendly. We wanted to eat something and the lady said (Austrian accent) "She can't now, only when there are three of them. I then went in because I saw that there were three of them and then asked if we could order something now "We could" She said she would come. Then I wanted to pay but here too it took a long time until someone came. Plus I was charged a juice Fr. 4.20 which we didn't even have. Unfortunately I saw it too late.

It used to be good. Mr. Hotz is simply missing. We almost don't go there anymore.

Good Ovo cold or warm at good prices, comfortable seating inside and on the terrace.

Like it a lot. Last time of my visit the service was not as good and also today I just had the same experience. The waiting is really bad for a sandwich or a croissant, the waiter does not recall the order, just doesn't feel "hom-ish". Prices are high and the choice is huge, I admit.

We are regular customers and have been coming back for years because we live nearby and think the garden at the main branch in Dübendorf is very beautiful. Wild berry ice cream is currently missing from the offer. Strawberry ice cream is way too sweet. The other flavors are OK. Confectionery and confectionery products look very tasty. Price/performance is right. Nice cafe with a garden. Friendly and helpful staff.

What about price/performance? I recently bought some Berliners. However, I am very shocked at the price for such a pastry! CHF 3.10/piece, crazy! For comparison: Steiner CHF 2.10/piece, Quer CHF 2.50/piece, of course not to be compared with the large distributors, which are all under CHF 1.00/piece. lay. Particularly good? Well, yes - average. Well, I'm not a rabble-rouser, but I don't like it at all when prices rise uncontrollably. That's just indecent. Sure, I'm free to buy it at that price, but unfortunately you're not always so spontaneous as to cancel the purchase, which is recommended in such a case. But what I'm definitely doing from now on: I'm avoiding these hot shops! All the best - and who knows - maybe reason will return at some point.

A good country bakery with lots of things to feast on...the croissant with egg and bacon is one of the many highlights.

Went there again last Sunday to get something to take away. The food is still excellent, can't complain. The service, especially in terms of friendliness, has not only been declining for a long time but is at a very low level, for that reason alone I would prefer the next time I go to the Fleischli bakery in Dübendorf, where you will always be served in a friendly and courteous manner. Unfortunately very poor service and bad experiences. The saleswoman and also Sometimes salespeople can hardly greet you. And if you ask for a plastic bag after you have made your purchase you will be asked do you need one? How outrageous is that? For this price you expect at least a nice welcome. Sometimes when I go in I feel very strange because you don't even feel welcome. Once I bought a raspberry tart and bit into it like I was eating a raw egg 🙈 My two daughters love the one sandwich, so I get there sometimes, it's just a shame that they hardly dare ask if they could cut it in half, as if they were asking way too much. I would be really happy if someone could serve you in a more friendly manner. Too bad for a bakery.

I've been to the bakery every now and then, but I'll leave it in the future. remain. Unfortunately, early in the morning the pretzel croissants and often the butter croissants are already soft. And depending on the saleswoman, you will be greeted either friendly or barely. December 2020, unfortunately I have to correct my rating regarding customer treatment. The fact that a long-standing customer, I mean over 20 years, is not granted a loan for Fr. 15 is more than just embarrassing. It is currently questionable whether I still want to make the journey from Effretikon to Dübendorf.

Nice stylish bakery. Usually with a café, which is currently closed due to Covid. The staff is ok, could be nicer (hence the deduction). The prices are high, the quality is not great (the second star is lost here because the price-performance ratio can be a lot better).

I love the bakery and I really enjoy having breakfast in the café. However, it really bothers me that very often (actually regularly) pretzel braids are no longer available before 9 a.m. and you can no longer get any braids for breakfast. I simply expect more from such a busy bakery. If the breakfast selection were also a little more varied, it would be perfect. But that is criticism at a high level.
