Our sweet Lab loves water, yet does not like baths! We dropped her off for a bath, and we were worried she would be anxious. When we picked her up 2 hours later, she was so happy! And she's silky smooth and smells lovely!

My dog ​​Titto, a German Shepherd-Husky mix, was at Lucky Dog for the first time on Saturday. We were warmly welcomed by Verica and her husband and you could immediately sense their affection for dogs. After 2 hours I picked Titto up again. I was met by a happy, perfectly trimmed and super washed dog. I am thrilled and would like to thank Verica & her husband from the bottom of my heart for the perfect all-round care of our Titto. Brought my Maltese here for a haircut. Overall, his entire coat was obviously very unevenly cut. His ears were clipped to a strange sharp tip. Not sure if this is a Swiss standard as I’m from Singapore. That’s even all okay for me, as I wasn’t expecting to see Singapore standard grooming here. But what angered me was that they clipped my dog’s nail too short and it bled. I saw blood on his fur, brought him back to the salon and the groomer said this is because his nerve has grown too long as his nail wasn’t cut as a puppy. My dog has been going for regular grooming sessions since he was just 12 weeks old. So this to me is a blatant lie or attempt to cover up for her mistake, and she did not apologise at all. My pup’s nails were all unevenly cut as well and I showed her that one nail was even almost not cut at all so she cut it while I was carrying my pup in my arms. While I do understand standards of grooming vary across the world, we have lived in Singapore, Australia, and various European countries and we have come across groomers that didn’t do a good job and I’ve never left a negative review. But I just felt that the groomer should have apologised for the mistake instead of saying that my dogs’ nails weren’t cut as a puppy. I didn’t bother to argue as she doesn’t speak English and there was a man who was translating for us.

Today we visited the Lucky Dog Salon for the first time and we were very satisfied - nice and cosy place, great service, very kind attitude. My dog Kiara feels and looks amazing. We will definitely come again. Recommend!!!

Dogs are truly lucky here! First she is so great with dogs, my dog loved her at first sight and then she even tells us that our dogs was easy to cut! Our hyperactive, always jumping and running around dog was apparently easy to cut! She must have magic hands and a special connection. Very satisfied with the cut, even cut more when requested afterwards, the shop has great treats and sweets for dogs, too, they even bake cakes :D. Dropped off my Labrador at Lucky Dog. With the good first: Short-term appointments possible. Very nice operator. Ears cleaned very thoroughly. The claws were well sanded. What could have been done better: Was happy with almost everything. Only the undercoat was not removed thoroughly and consistently. When I went through the fur with my bare hand at home, I had a lot of fur between my fingers. The paws were not trimmed regularly, but this was only apparent at second glance. Overall a good service. But as a customer I expect more for the price.

When I corrected it again, I realized again that unfortunately the cutting was very careless and asymmetrically. It's a real shame, I would of course have preferred it if I hadn't had to correct it. Not every customer has to like your service; after all, everyone is individual and has their own expectations and needs. Our Lagotto is very afraid of strangers and has never been to the hairdresser before. Verica and her husband were incredibly kind and patient. Our dog had a purely positive experience, was super trusting at the end and didn't want to leave. He's also beautifully shaved, just like we wanted.

Unfortunately our expectations were not met. We Maltese were totally misled and did a lot of things wrong that could only be done wrong! Eyebrows shortened, cut unevenly, hair 1-2cm longer on legs! Today we went to Lucky Dog dog salon with our little Bolonka named Lucky. He was greeted so warmly there. When we picked him up we were so happy about how great he looked. It was so beautifully decorated and had such a great bow on it. Then he was rewarded with a few homemade dog biscuits, which he ate with enthusiasm at home. Our Lucky is very picky about what he eats... After the visit to the salon he strutted really proudly through Bern and later through our apartment :) Always happy and thank you very much for that.

The owner is very accommodating and takes a lot of time for the four-legged friends. She treats the dogs very lovingly. I can only recommend!
